As a first time mom, my birth experience was more positive and manageable than I had expected. Elvira’s support definitely helped make the experience more calm and comfortable. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Nurtured by Nature Doula services to anyone looking for additional support pre, post and during the birth. The day of the birth she was readily available and checked in often, as I had decided to labor at home for a while with just my husband.  My husband and I then met her at the hospital where she provided calm support through position ideas, encouragement, massage, etc. She was a calm, gentle presence and we appreciated her support during the birth of our daughter.

Shortly after finding out I was pregnant I knew I wanted a doula. We interviewed Elvira and I fell in love with her. She seemed so extremely supportive of my birth plan and it meant a lot that she is a mom as well. During my birth Elvira helped me with coping mechanisms as well as doing exercises with me to help my body progress/dilate. Elvira is a very warm, comforting, loving and funny woman. Having her at my birth felt made all the difference.
