We would most definitely recommend considering Kaitlyn to be your birth doula.
We really appreciated her every step of the way in our birth experience, before, during, and post-partum.
During labor and delivery, we were so incredibly thankful to have Kaitlyn with us. I wouldn't want to know how it would have gone without her. This was our first pregnancy and labor was very long and did not go how we had expected or planned. She provided a very calming, guiding presence that made us both feel safe and supported throughout all of it. She was a great counselor as well, listening and talking through challenges as they appeared which was incredibly helpful emotionally. She patiently guided us through each decision presented to us so that we felt informed and confident in our choices.
She also provided a wealth of experience and knowledge which she shared with us so that we knew what to expect before and during delivery and had a toolkit of strategies we could use during labor. She worked with mom, dad, midwives, and L&D nurses to do everything possible to facilitate a successful delivery. It truly felt that we were a team working together to bring baby into the world safely. Ultimately, our baby had to be delivered through C-Section, which was not our preference, but we were confident that we had done absolutely everything in our power to follow our desired birth preferences so that we could easily come to terms with the lived experience of our childbirth.
It is really hard to explain how thankful we are to have had Kaitlyn as our doula. She is absolutely qualified and skilled at what she does.

This was our first pregnancy. My husband and I felt prepared after reading books and attending childbirth classes, though we were on the fence about hiring a doula. In the end, hiring Kaitlyn as our doula was absolutely the right choice. The interview process was smooth, and her calm energy immediately stood out.
During labor, Kaitlyn was an immense help — from providing techniques to manage active contractions to guiding my husband in finding positions that helped adjust the baby’s position for labor. She also advocated for my predetermined wishes with my care team, which allowed my husband to focus on supporting me emotionally throughout the process.
Kaitlyn was the perfect balance I needed during labor. She offered steady, calming support throughout the entire experience, and I highly recommend her to anyone seeking a soft-spoken, grounded individual for their birth journey.

As first-time parents, my husband and I knew we wanted a birth doula. We pictured someone who could help us feel safe, calm, and steady—someone who could truly hold space for all the emotion, uncertainty, and beauty of the experience. Kaitlyn was exactly that and much more! Kaitlyn visited our home twice before birth, getting to know us, exploring our fears and hopes, and guiding us through our birth preferences. Those visits laid the foundation for the trust we felt during labor and birth. We had planned to give birth at a birth center, but at 41.5 weeks, we needed to transfer to the hospital for an induction. When our birth plan changed, Kaitlyn helped us game plan and advocate for our needs, shifting her support to prioritize whatever was needed. As I labored for over 24 hours, she offered constant care and encouragement. She made the hospital feel warm and comforting by helping set up colorful Christmas lights and placing battery candles around the tub. She was with me through every moment—helping me labor in the tub, giving massages, hip squeezes, offering water and snacks, and providing affirmations. She worked hand-in-hand with my husband, and together they made me feel supported physically and emotionally. When a C-section became necessary, Kaitlyn’s calm presence helped me process what was happening and feel empowered. She stayed with us throughout the surgery and even took beautiful photos we will cherish forever. After birth, Kaitlyn showed up in heartfelt ways during those early postpartum days. In moments when I felt overwhelmed and unsure, she met me with compassion and care. She held space for my emotions, reminded me I was doing well, and helped me find my footing as a new mom. She’s also been loving and sweet with our daughter—holding, talking to, and soothing her—which gave me precious time to rest and heal. Having someone care not just for the baby, but for me as a person, meant more than I can express.

Kaitlyn is a highly intuitive birth support doula. She was exceptionally attentive to me and my partner during our prolonged unmedicated labor at home,
at the birth center, and at the hospital. I especially appreciated her instincts for when to provide soothing touch (counter pressure and massage) and that she
encouraged movement and other coping strategies that we had prepared for during our prenatal meetings. My partner and I are incredibly grateful to have
had her enduring support and devotion to stay with us as long as it took to safely deliver our baby. We highly recommend her.
