Tia helped me deliver my third baby this past July. Having never used a doula before I was unsure what the service would entail, now I can confidently say I wish more than anything I had explored this option with my other babies! First, I decided on using a doula at the very last minute (34 weeks pregnant), and am forever grateful that Tia was flexible and willing to take me on as a client. Second, I wanted more of a holistic birthing experience to try and minimize some of the severe PPD symptoms I had experienced with my first two children. Tia's first recommendation to me was to switch providers/hospitals because my current setup was not necessarily aligned with my goals. *I am new to New England and not super familiar with the various hospitals/interventions. I am so glad I listened to Tia's guidance because my birth was a dream and exactly what I had hoped for. Tia's support on the day of my delivery was paramount to my success. She was calm, confident, knowledgable and reassuring. I've had horrendous back labor with all of my children, but with Tia's help she successfully flipped my baby from the sunny-side up position to the most optimal position, thus relieving a lot of extra pain. Lastly, Tia advocated on my behalf with the hospital staff, while I was at my most vulnerable (right after delievery), to ensure my placenta was not discarded so that I could have it encapsulated. Overall this birth and my recovery *so far have been the redemption story I had hoped for. I'm forever thankful to Tia!

Tia was the most wonderful doula to work with for both me and my husband. Originally, my husband was more of an advocate than I was to work with a doula. I felt that I had done a lot of research and I knew I needed my husband there with me for birth as an encouraging voice and touch. I wasn't sure if I wanted anyone else in the room. My husband, however was very nervous as this was our first birth and child. Tia was beyond knowledgeable for our prenatal appointment and checked in with me regularly, especially as I passed my due date. As we headed towards the hospital for labor, Tia easily communicated with my husband. She provide emotional support, educational support and hands on physical support for me for more than 12 hours. She made position suggestions and motivated me to keep moving, but also respected my request to rest when needed. As things deviated from my birth plan, she was non-judgmental and informative. I truly cannot imagine what labor would have been like without Tia there and if I ever have future children, she will be my first call.

I had a wonderful experience working with Tia. She is very comfortable to be with, and she really took her time to listen to and address all of my questions and challenges. She helped me resolve the pain that I was having while nursing, and I am now able to nurse pain free. She also gave me a lot of advice which has helped my baby to be more content and sleep more soundly regularly.  I would highly reccomend her to mothers who are in need of guidance and support.

When I went into labor at midnight and arrived at the hospital alone, I was overwhelmed and began crying non-stop as the contractions intensified. My husband was busy dropping off our older child, leaving me feeling scared and unsupported.

Tia, who was filling in for the doula I had been working with, arrived within minutes. Her presence was immediately reassuring. She brought me back to myself with her steady, professional, and guiding hand. Tia was a person I could trust implicitly, and she supported all of my decisions until my partner could join us at the hospital.

Throughout the process, Tia coached me through pushing and the final stages of delivery with such skill and compassion. This experience was significantly better than the birth of my first child, where I did not have the help of a doula. Tia made an incredible difference, and I would absolutely work with her again for any future births.

Her support was invaluable, and I highly recommend Tia to anyone looking for a dedicated and calming presence during their labor and delivery.

We had Tia for our birth and postpartum doula and we feel so so lucky! Tia made us feel comfortable right away. My husband and I really had no clue what to expect from a doula and what to expect our birth experience to be but she answered all of our questions and cared about our concerns. Leading up to the birth, Tia helped me build my confidence to give birth. She was responsive to all my texts when I was freaking out about when this baby would get out! During the birthing process, decisions had to be made and while I looked to Tia for reassurance, she also gave me the space to really think about what I wanted to do and was super supportive. This was huge for me, it made the entire experience way less stressful. I absolutely loved my labor experience and if I have another baby, Tia will be there! About a month or so after our baby was born, we were really struggling with sleep. Tia came to the rescue and took on one of the night feedings a few nights a week. She also helped around the house and made us snacks. She was so good with our baby and we loved having her here! I was obviously happy our baby was sleeping better but I was sad that we didn't need Tia anymore. We are so glad we picked Tia as our doula.

My experience with Tia was absolutely amazing, I struggle deeply with asking for help and reaching out when I am struggling, if I don't understand something I just sit with it and wonder but with Tia she made me feel so comfortable with being able to talk to her at any point, I would text her at 4 am and get a response immediately, she came to my appointments with me, she sat down with my significant other and I and discussed what I wanted for my birth and made a document to give to the hospital when I went into labor she was 100% my advocate, especially when the nurse blew out my vein she requested a new one. I truly feel like my birth experience was amazing because of Tia. She brought a device to help with the pain and helped relieve pressure in my back when I got contractions, and she always asked permission before touching me. And her care didn't stop there she later asked how my breastfeeding was doing and when I explained I was having a hard time she offered to come to my place and help me, when coming over she brought over a chicken and asparagus meal, some chocolate chip muffins and a gatoraid, Tia was absolutely an amazing doula I couldn't have done my birth without her I hope that if I ever have another I have her there with me!!

Tia was absolutely amazing during our whole pregnancy and birthing experience! She was always available for a phone call or text during the pregnancy. I truly have no idea how I would have gotten through the birth of our son without Tia's support and guidance. We couldn't have done it without her!

Tia was an awesome doula! She made my labor/birth a comfortable and laid back experience. She gave me a lot of confidence on my VBAC which I was successfully able to have. The support she provided before and during my labor was exactly what I needed. I would have her as my doula if I were to be pregnant again and would recommend her to others!

Towards the end of our labor we had some scary complications. However with Tia by our sides it went much smoother and successful than we could have ever imagined. My husband and I could have not done it without her. From the start of the process Tia was responsive, attentive, knowledgeable, and encouraging. She held my hand (physically and metaphorically) the entire time. You will not regret having Tia by your side! Thank you for your loving care.
