Brittany was an answer to prayer for me! I had a traumatic first birth experience, so I knew that I needed extra support the second time around with my second baby. Brittany was very calming, comforting, and supportive my entire pregnancy and delivery. I trusted her completely and I would absolutely use her again for another pregnancy. Her love for Jesus is very evident through her work and that was very important to me! I highly recommend her doula services!

I cannot speak highly enough of Brittany Shepherd. From the moment my partner and I met her, we knew we were in capable hands. Throughout my pregnancy journey, she provided unwavering support, guidance, and reassurance.

During prenatal visits, Brittany took the time to understand our birth preferences, fears, and concerns, creating a personalized birth plan tailored to our needs. Her extensive knowledge in childbirth education empowered us to make informed decisions every step of the way.

When labor finally began, Brittany was a calming presence, offering both physical and emotional support. She helped me navigate the intensity of labor with confidence and remained flexible and adaptable throughout.

Brittany has been the biggest blessing to my little family! She was recommended to me by my midwives and there’s a reason shes one of their favorite doulas. I interviewed a couple women before Brittany, but the moment I met her I knew she’d be a perfect fit, and she was! Having her be a part of my labor was amazing. She was the encouraging voice in my ear I so desperately needed. From the moment I signed the contract, she was there to answer all of my embarrassing questions, and trust me there were a lot! Brittany was so helpful with her encouraging words and soft tone, she knew exactly what to say to keep me on track mentally. This girl did so much more than I expected.. obviously I knew she’d have prenatal meetings with us to prep for labor and she’d be there during the actual labor, but what I didn’t expect is how involved she was postpartum! Such an overwhelming first couple hours with our newborn and she was there for literally anything we needed. I had no idea how much I would need someone to help me through that first trip to the bathroom after labor.. Brittany held me up, literally and figuratively! Brittany has become a precious friend of mine and I thank God for bringing her into my life in such a delicate time. She is exactly what I needed as a doula, worth every penny and much more!

My birth experience with Brittany was above and beyond. I liked her from the first time we met. Also, my medical team said great things about her work, which gave me even more confidence having her as my doula, and she was indeed a godsend in our lives. She truly felt like a friend and I can’t thank Brittany enough for her advice, patience and care. She did exactly what we discussed and encouraged me to go forward when I was thinking about giving up my birth plan. The breathing techniques helped more than I can say, it was a game changer for my birth. She got to the hospital really quick and that was fundamental when contractions got really tough. My 1st birth was really challenging and a bit traumatic, but this time my whole experience with birth and delivery was 100% positive and Brittany played a huge role for such a beautiful and blessed time. We absolutely recommend her as your doula!

Brittany is an amazing doula and person. I loved her from the moment I met her. She was willing to meet me in person which I thought was great since she would be delivering my baby. Her companion and love of her job were so evident. Brittany truly does this because it is her passion. She led my husband and I the while way through. Helped with all of our questions especially as first time parents. I knew I could count on her. The day I went into labor we called her and she knew I needed to go to the hospital and met us. I forgot the birth plan, chapstick and water. Brittany had it all for me. It was so nice to not worry about all the things I forgot. During my labor Brittany was amazing. The breathing techniques helped so much with my back labor. The massage on my back was helpful and she even had labor combs. I remember yelling our Brittany I can't do this and her tone and words were all I needed to make it though. She was truly wonderful and I cannot recommend her enough. I will definitely have her as our doula for the next baby. Brittany is now a wonderful friend and part of our new family.

Brittany was absolutely amazing to have on my birth team! I was preparing for a VBAC and she made sure I was equipped with all the right questions to ask my doctors as well as making sure I had the correct tools to advocate for myself! She came to the hospital as soon as I needed her with snacks and all things to help me try to labor naturally. She did all the things I had asked to be done while I labored and patiently showed my husband how to support me. She made sure everything on my birth plan came to fruition. She even let the on call OB know I would not be pushing on my back! The best part of what she provided was emotional support while our babe was taken to the NICU and my husband went with them. Honestly can say I don’t think I could have had the birth I had without her. I may not have been able to get a picture with her but she made sure I got my VBAC picture in the hospital ?? she is the sweetest person I've ever met and I know when we have another baby I will be hiring her again without question ??

Brittany was truly wonderful in so many ways to have on my team delivering my third child. So personable, she felt like a friend from the first time we met! I was going to be delivering in the Columbia area, although I live just over an hour out of town. She met me half way for our initial visit, although offered to drive all the way to my home to meet! She is so personable, encouraging, and grace-filled! Different than my previous two L&Ds, I was admitted twice and Brittany was there by my side twice! She brought drinks and snacks for my husband both times! She thoroughly explained in more detail any questions I had throughout the process, told me my options I could choose, she advocated what we had previously talked about in meetings. Together we walked what felt like 5 miles up and down the hallways during my first admittance. She was attentive to everything going on, reminding me to focus or breath, encouraging me when labor got tough...just so so wonderful! I highly recommend Brittany to be your doula!

Brittany was such a huge asset to my birth team! She helped me achieve the positive peaceful birthing experience I was praying for. I had some unexpected bumps along the way during my pregnancy that required me to make changes to my birth plan I hadn't anticipated, but through it all Brittany held me remember I had a voice and helped me advocate for myself and my baby. She was supportive of every decision I made and all my wishes for my birthing journey. I was able to walk into the birth at peace and confident thanks to her unwavering support and courage she gave me. We were so blessed she could be apart of our experience and I truly believe it was as beautiful and peaceful as it was largely because of her.

I could not be more satisfied with hiring Brittany to help me during the birth of my son. As a first time mom, I was super scared of birth throughout my life and imagined it being the most painful awful experience. Leading up to birth in during my pregnancy, I was very anxious and found it hard to sleep just thinking about L& D and all the things that could or could not happen. Finally, my husband suggested I find a doula to help with my fears. I interviewed three doulas but found Brittany to be the most personable and unjudgmental. She felt like a friend. After we hired her, I immediately felt more calm and actually started to look forward to the day my son would be born.

When the day finally came, she was there for all the potentially scary moments, helping and supporting me make decisions the whole time. Her speaking words of encouragement was super motivating and made me feel so calm and in control. Ultimately, the birth of my son was the best day of my life (rather than something I had been dreading for years) and sent me into motherhood on the best foot forward. I love that I got a positive happy birth memory rather than one of trauma and fear with thanks to her. I would definitely recommend anyone booking with Brittany, she is an angel and I would hire her again without any regrets! Thanks again Brittany! You meant more to me than you know!

Brittany was so great and I knew from our first conversation that I'd chosen the right doula. I didn't have one at the first birth and regretted it. I did for my second, and she was fine but I didn't connect with her at all. Talking with Brittany was like catching up with a childhood friend and being able to pick up right where you left off. I really appreciated how involved she was willing to be and how prepared she was to help me in ways I didn't even know I needed. She listened, empathized, had great suggestions and you can really tell she loves being a doula. My plan was to give birth at the hospital but it was a long drive and I had a shockingly precipitous labor that resulted in giving birth in the car. Brittany was on the phone with me during the wild labor, talking me down from my panic and helping me remember to breathe through all the screaming. She had the nurses waiting for us at the hospital entrance when we pulled up, then she cleaned out our car and stayed the rest of the night to hold our new baby girl while my husband and I were passed out. If you're looking for support who will meet you where you are and help you get where you want to be, Brittany is where it's at!

A normal birthing experience. That’s what we intended as we called Brittany in late Thursday Night as I was being induced. She packed up her bags, came at 10:30pm to the hospital, and we prepared for what was sure to be no more than 24hrs to bring our bundle of joy into this world. Then, things shifted. We found ourselves far from an ordinary labor and delivery. And likewise began also an extra-ordinary support from Brittany. For 50 long hours, one turn after another, Brittany was there. She coached me through every contraction. She breathed with me, prayed fervently with me, and loved on me like family. She remained patient, dedicated, and committed. She held my legs as I pushed, and when things turned even more to an emergency c section she grabbed my hand with faithful reassurance as they wheeled me to O.R.  On top of all of that, she captured irreplaceable memories for us to forever cherish without ever kissing a beat of being by my side. She brought a contagious peace into the room among a sometime chaotic experience.

While many things are a blur from the entire time, one thing that is clear is that this is Brittany’s purpose. There is no one else I could or would recommend by your side during such a special moment. She was truly designed for being the best Doula a girl could ask for. She is now forever family and will always be a huge part of Baby Judah’s story when we reminisce on bringing him earth-side.

Im so beyond thankful that I had my sweet sister by my side while I delivered my sweet baby boy! She was so comforting and reassuring, making sure I was comfortable and making sure I was breathing as I should, she was even helping me push holding my head and back. I honestly couldn't have done it without her, and I mean that wholeheartedly. She never left my side , and never let me feel like I was alone. There's no one else I would've rather had by my side!
