Megan was truly a saint! She brought such a calming and positive energy to the entire experience. The couple of days leading up to labor, she came equipt with hip opening exercises, words of encouragement and just an overwhelming amount of love and positivity. When we were actually in labor, Megan was able to calm and keep my mind off the otherwise uncomfortable circumstances. I swear the minute she walked into the room, all was calm and tranquil and suddenly a major sense of relief was felt. Megan naturally has a warm and light demeanor with a keen sense of humor which was exactly what we needed to soothe any fear, doubt and anxiety I and my partner were feeling. She would guide us through the process and distract our minds when needed. Her gentle touch through little massages and labor exercises were beyond any expectations we could have imagined. I would have another baby just so I could have Megan as our Doula again!!! The absolute best part about labor was Megan!! Xoxo

My husband and I decided to start trying for a baby the summer of 2022. I was 35 and nervous/anxious about my age. By August I was pregnant, but by September I had a miscarriage. After waiting a couple months, I was pregnant before Christmas.

There is something about her that is so incredibly calming and nurturing. I never thought twice about having her in the room when I gave birth to my first baby. Megan was professional, open minded, accommodating, helpful, entertaining, and kind along the whole journey. She interviewed my husband and I while I was pregnant to learn about our birth plan and expectations with zero judgement. She checked in and gave helpful tips along the way. She even poped by our home to give me massages and gave my husband tips/advice on what he could do to make me comfortable. I was induced for preeclampsia that hit after 40 weeks and she was at the hospital as soon as I called.

We don't know what we would have done if Megan hadn't been there. She helped my husband encourage me through contractions, kept our families in the waiting room informed, and she also brought things such as combs for contraction distractions and fans to put by the bed. She held one of my legs during labor and helped me breathe. She got pictures and videos of the birth too, which I would have been devasted not to have. I had to stay longer in the hospital from hemorrhaging/ preeclampsia but Megan came back and even silently rocked our son on her chest while my husband and I tried to rest. She even made me "padsicles" for the swelling and pain. It was the most vulnerable and intimate moment of my life and I'm so glad Megan was there.

My husband said it would have been really hard for him had she not been there for support and guidance for him as well. From the deepest part of my heart, thank you Megan. Your energy and experience kept the most important day of my life so calm and that's exactly the world I wanted to bring my son into.

I cannot emphasize enough the positive impact Megan had on my birth experience. I felt supported from our first conversation. She was communicative and knowledgeable, which made me feel more confident leading up to labor and delivery.

She created an environment in the hospital room that felt peaceful and safe. She was hands-on, while also instilling confidence in my husband to support me through contractions and pushing. She was like Mary Poppins, always able to pull out another tool or idea. She knew when to start the tub, so it would be ready when I was ready, rather than when I asked for it, which was a saving grace in labor. Most importantly, Megan followed my lead, and I knew she would support any choice I needed to make for my birthing experience. I am so grateful to her for the balanced, calm, and caring approach during the entire process.
