Lex always goes above and beyond. She is truly passionate about what she does and she’s darn good at it. I tell everyone about how awesome she is and recommend her to all of my family and friends. She truly is a talented gem and I hope more people get to experience her blessings ??

I'm almost at a loss for words on how to adequately convey how helpful my time with Lex was. Her support was invaluable and made my 4th trimester a time for joy and connection with my newborn - not one of stress and loneliness. She integrated herself seamlessly into our home and lent a helping hand and listening ear before I even needed to ask for either.

Alexa helped me with breastfeeding strategies like burping and positioning, and helped my baby (who doesn't like bottles) take a bottle. Her focus on addressing my perceived needs/concerns instead of assuming to know what I would need help with was the most valuable aspect of her support. She always asked what my concerns/priorities were, and I felt supported and not judged.

My birth was quite stressful, I had a 40 hour labor with no medication for pain relief, and Alexa handled it extremely calmly. She was an amazing resource to not only myself but my husband as well, before and during the birth. She got along very well with all clinicians and staff, and the nurse and midwife commended her for doing a great job of supporting the labor. Alexa is empathetic, compassionate, knowledgeable, reliable, and adaptable. She advocates for her clients, provides resources and information, and facilitates independent decision making. Due to her disposition, Alexa makes an excellent doula. I feel the support she provided was exemplary, and I wish her all the best.

As first time expectant parents we were very apprehensive and completely lost when it came to giving birth and how to care for our child. Enter Alexa. She helped us think about the right questions, prepare for the various scenarios, and just gave us overall guidance. Not to mention that she was always checking and making sure we were okay. She was always there when we had random questions or just needed some support. During delivery she helped me and my husband stay calm during a stressful situation. During postpartum care she helped guide us through the first weeks of childcare when we thought we were doing everything wrong and everything the baby did was scary. I couldn’t have asked for a better support system during this time.

Alexa was such wonderful postpartum and sibling doula. Leading up to the birth of our second child she helped to instill the confidence I needed by offering so much advice pertaining to labor and preparation, which was incredibly helpful after a very traumatic birth experience with my first born. My daughter, who can take a while to warm up to people, truly enjoyed her time spent with Lex while my husband and I were in the hospital, as well as during our postpartum time together. Alexa was able to read my family’s needs every time she worked with us and we are so grateful we had her unwavering support! It must be noted too, she works wonders in the kitchen and is a terrific cook and baker.

Lex came into our lives when our baby was 2 months old, after our first doula did not work out. We were beyond exhausted and in dire need of help. Not only did Lex offer a second set of hands with the baby, but she brought such an energetic and fresh approach to help my mental health and postpartum depression. We bonded over our love for fitness and midcentury modern home decor, and I felt like I was talking to a friend every time she was over. She is 100% the reason why I was successfully able to find a postpartum therapist, because she worked with me to identify goals and wishes I never even knew I had. She is kind, thoughtful, gentle, but assertive when necessary. Lex is more than my Doula, she’s a member of my “village”.

Lex is unequivocally an absolutely phenomenal doula. Her expansive knowledge of pregnancy, labor, postpartum, and newborn care is endlessly impressive, and her connections to the community and generous informational resources are invaluable. Any pregnant person is lucky to work with her. Lex is so lovingly nonjudgmental and easy to confide in as both a doula and a friend. I felt comfortable with her from our very first meeting (and not just because I have a tendency to overshare even with people I've just met, LOL). I also have always trusted that she had my best interests in mind the whole journey, while still letting me guide the way and empowering me to be my own north star and strongest advocate. That's a great doula and a great friend. Lex, you are a bright bright light.
In sum: I am so grateful to have had her by my side and just a text or phone call away throughout this wild and difficult and awesome journey into motherhood and beyond. I cannot imagine having done it any other way or with anyone else.

Alexa is fantastic! I really appreciated her support and she was very available for me at any time I needed. Alexa supported my husband and me in postpartum care - for all topics/worries related to first time parenting and helped me prepare to reenter the work force while breastfeeding. Alexa is someone engaging and fun (= good with kids), responsible with excellent organizational skills, and very passionate and committed to her job as a doula. I highly recommend Alexa! She focuses on creating a supportive environment for you and your partner and adapts her support to the needs of the family. Excellent doula!
