WOMB ROOM GALLERY EVENT DIRECTOR (2022) Planned, organized, and successfully executed an educational pop-up art gallery and fundraiser event. The event provided education, resources, and positive conversations relating to the spectrum of reproductive health around intimacy, body image, menstruation, abortion, birth, and postpartum. SECRETARY & SOCIAL MEDIA BOARD MEMBER FOR SACRAMENTO BREASTFEEDING COALITION (2019 - 2021) The Sacramento Breastfeeding Coalition is a non-profit organization that advocates for breastfeeding families of all backgrounds. We are a group of lactation professionals, health care professionals, parents, and community members from the greater Sacramento area. Through advocacy efforts and community outreach we aim to reduce barriers to breastfeeding while improving health outcomes of our future generations. VOLUNTEER MENTOR DOULA AT SUTTER DAVIS HOSPITAL (2019 - 2021) Provided physical and emotional support to laboring people and their partners on an on-call basis. Trained incoming volunteer doulas on support techniques and oriented new volunteers to the hospital. Utilized knowledge in comforting touch, birthing positions, hydrotherapy, and other various relaxation techniques. Participated in doula workshops and meetings, and represented the doula program during centering group prenatal appointments as a guest speaker. PERINATAL VOLUNTEER LEAD AT COMMUNICARE CLINICS (2018 - 2020) Cofounded the "Volunteer Doula Extension Program" offering additional doula support to vulnerable birthing people in the underserved communities of Yolo County who received care at Sutter Davis.

Fee Details

I believe everyone should have the right to access birth support so I use the "Green Bottle Method" by Alexis J. Cunningfolk to provide a sliding scale for all of my services or come up with unique ways to get you care that fits to your tailored needs. Talk to me and we can find a price that feels best for your needs. I am also open to trades for partial compensation. My sliding scale fee includes a retainer fee of due at the time you select me as your doula, with the remaining balance due at our final postpartum visit, roughly one week after birth.
