Gena was an absolute gift as we navigated the first few weeks of our son’s life. Having had a very difficult postpartum period with my first son, I did all I could to prepare for the birth of my second son which is how I met Gena. She was able to immediately put me at ease when my anxiety was front and center and helped me get centered when things felt extra difficult. She had faith in me when I wasn’t so sure and we talked about life and newborns striking a perfect balance of knowledge and friendliness that is hard to find. If you get the chance to work with Gena you will be all the better for it. I highly recommend her.

An excellent doula. Professional, communicative, intuitive and delightful to be around. She was a pro at soothing our son to sleep. she had many techniques, but more priceless, a strong intuition w our baby. I'm so grateful to her for the rest my son and I got. A 5 star doula for any mom with a newborn.

We worked with Gena last December and she made us feel very comfortable! It's so important to get rest after just getting home from the hospital and Gena made that possible by giving us peace of mind during those few hours of rest. She cared for our son between feedings and made sure I was comfortable (and well fed) throughout the evening.

5 stars all the way for Gena!

We had Gena as our night doula from when our little Luca was born in November until March, and wow, she was a lifesaver! She's super trustworthy and knows everything there is to know about babies.

Gena has this incredible ability to figure out exactly what’s wrong when it seems like nothing will calm the baby. Like, when Luca used to lose it around sunset, Gena figured out he was just really tired, not hungry. Starting bedtime earlier made such a big difference!

Also, when Luca was super fussy at 3 months, we thought it was just a growth spurt, but Gena was on it – she guessed right away he might be teething, and sure enough, that was it!

It’s not easy to trust someone with your baby, but Gena made it easy. We totally recommend her if you’re looking for someone who gets babies and will take great care of your little one!

Gena was a life saver for me and my baby during a very challenging post partum time. I hadn't intended on using a night nurse, but when certain situations at home arose, I found myself asking last minute for help. Not only was she able to fit us into her schedule but she did so effortlessly. She bonded immediately with my newborn and took the lead during the night shift. She was on time, found our secluded house without problems, found the newborn items without help, set out water and snacks during breastfeeding times, and didn't force conversations, understanding I was tired. Knowing I had her help on hand was instrumental to my recovery and sleep. Would highly recommend Gena and all she has to offer.
