Shilpa was the healing energy I needed postpartum. She was an integral part of my postpartum circle and I am grateful to have been cared by her during this sacred and vulnerable time. I hired Shilpa for day doula Ayurvedic care to focus on body work as a way to prioritize my healing after birth. I really appreciated her blend of professional training with cultural tradition and personal experience. Some of my favorite moments postpartum included Shilpa’s abyanga oil massage, yoni steam, nourishing postpartum meals (especially her kitchuri and golden mylk), and beautiful bath blends. She made me feel validated in my feelings and struggles and helped me adjust to early motherhood. I even gifted two friends a day of care with Shilpa as I found it to be so healing. I look forward to working with Shilpa again in future pregnancies!

Shilpa was my postpartum doula, and she was very tuned into what I needed post my baby's birth. She visited me the same day my daughter was born (2 weeks early) and brought me delcious home cooked food and herbal tea. We constantly kept in touch and she visited my home several times to take care of my baby so I could get some much needed rest. She also went out of her way to bring me home cooked food and tea, which was much appreciated for my recovery. In addition to her great knowledge about ayurvedic herbs, she also does bodywork and breathwork to help you feel grounded. Her bodywork helped to restore me from long days and nights of constant breastfeeding. She's very knowledgable in various aspects of the birth and postpartum process, and will go out of her way to make sure you feel supported during one of the hardest phases of your life. I would highly recommend Shilpa to anyone looking for a reliable and thoughtful partner in the birthing and postpartum process.
