We hired Nikki as our postpartum doula for our first child, four weeks of nights and six weeks of days.

Simply put, she was indispensable for new parents with no family in the area. She was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, so careful with our little one, and gave us both rest and peace of mind.

If you are thinking about hiring a kind, thoughtful postpartum doula, Nikki is great

Found Nikki while searching for doulas servicing SCV. Out of all the doulas that reached out to speak to me, she was the only one that sent me her actual informational packets and was transparent with her services/packages, which I thought was so so helpful during my search! I was planning to have a hospital birth and had already had a midwife, so was looking for support during labor as well as someone to help support my husband as well. Nikki has so many resources to share and always helped me feel well informed. I appreciated that she was always making sure I knew the risks and benefits of everything and explained procedures and terminology when they weren’t clear. My birth went nothing as planned, but I still felt so so confident with each of my decisions and Nikki was a big part in being there to emotionally support me and my husband as well as provide info as needed. She was fantastic with showing my husband how to implant coping techniques to help me through labor and just always knew how to help me cope even before I knew what to do next. She was always very respectful and encouraging, and supported me in ways I could not even think of. I highly recommend Nikki for doula services again once I grow our family in the future!

Nikki was our doula and she was such a pleasure to work with! We would absolutely recommend her to anyone, both for pregnancy and postpartum support. She is organized, calm, responsive, and such a wonderful resource when it comes to sorting out all of the information available about pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and newborn care. She made me feel so comfortable during labor and and I knew she had my back, regardless of how closely I stuck to my birth plan. She was also a massive help during our postpartum visits, and took the time to answer all of our first time parent questions (no matter how small). Hire her!

My husband and I hired Nikki to help take care of our second child when she was born last year (2023). She provided so much emotional and physical support to our family and was very attentive and caring with our newborn daughter. She helped take care of our daughter, change diapers, fold laundry, bring food to me, and unload the dishwasher. She also provided support to our son as he transitioned to having a new sibling. We highly recommend her!

Nikki was an invaluable member of my both my birthing and post partum team. I had an especially hard delivery-- stalled labor, emergency C section-- and having Nikki in the room with my partner and I helped tremendously. She was able to offer comfort measures, helpful hands, a sounding board. At home post partum, Nikki was always a source of knowledge during the first few weeks when everyone is in survival mode. Having someone there with a full night of sleep and a head full of information was so useful! Also knowing I could trust my tiny LO in her arms was a godsend. My recovery was long and hard-- Nikki made it infinitely easier from the very start.
