We couldn't imagine a better partner than Steph for our first birth. She is kind, compassionate, and asks all the right questions. Communication is one of her strong suits, and she answered all of our questions, no matter how trivial I might have worried they would sound. When I was induced due to high blood pressure, she was there even though we were well ahead of my due date. My husband was the perfect partner for telling me how amazing I was doing, Steph was the perfect partner for helping us find new positions, remind me of the right way to breathe, and help me with coping techniques. I was able to achieve my goal of an unmedicated birth through her help. We would partner with her again in a heartbeat, and hope she is available if we have another baby.

It was so amazing having Steph on my birth team. She is positive, calming, and encouraging - all important things for birth support! I felt comfortable with her right off the bat and she was always friendly and patient with our many many questions. When laboring got difficult she jumped in with hands on support the moment I needed it - before I even knew I needed it! And she taught my husband how to help too. I had a great birth experience and I know it wouldn't have been as positive if I didn't have her on my team. Thank you, Steph!!

From the moment we met Stephanie we could tell how much she loves being a doula. She was able to make some arrangements to be present during the birth of our first baby. She was so helpful! I was able to use some of her tools and knowledge during contractions, which were really helpful to endure them. Even though my birth plan changed, she adapted pretty quickly, supported me along the way, and encouraged me to keep going and do my best. I'm sure that having her contributed to the calm energy in the room and peace in my mind. She also got some pictures and videos from the birth that I treasure. I totally recommend her. I look forward to having her again.

My experience with Steph, was awesome!!! She was recommended to me by my midwife. We first met when I was 35 weeks, and I wasn't really considering a doula. I wanted my birth small and with people I knew well, but after meeting with her I knew that because of her quiet presence and the comforting and quiet way that she talks, that she would be perfect to have at my birth and respect my birthing preferences.  She would text me periodically checking in and offering encouragement. My birthing time started at 10:00pm, and i labored all through the night, sleeping most of the time, so I texted her first thing in the morning and let her know where I was at, and she told me to just go about my day. 3 hours later I was in full active birthing time, (in hind sight I should have had her come when I first woke up) with pressure waves right on top of each other and I asked her to come. She showed up around 11:30 am (the baby was born at 2:30 pm) and offered to do counter pressure, but my husband was the only person who I wanted to do it, but Steph rubbed my feet and legs while I was having birthing waves on the bed, which felt heavenly. Then I got in the birthing tub and she did some counter pressure on my hips while I was pushing and that felt really good, she also rubbed my feet again in between birthing/pushing waves because they were going to sleep due to my position. She stayed in close contact with my midwife after she arrived since we were not able to. She continued to check up on me throughout the next 2 weeks via text and came to visit me after 2 weeks ?? 

Although I didn't use her as fully in her capacity as I was hoping to since my birthing time progressed so fast, I wouldn't change having her there, she was such a comfort and amazing support. I would definitely use her again! She is such a sweetheart and I could tell that even though we had just met that she truly cared about me and what I wanted for my birth. Thank you Steph ??

I felt a connection to Steph from our first meeting and she ended up being the perfect addition to my  labor and delivery experience. She was calm, encouraging and helpful the entire time! When I had changes to my birth plan she helped me to feel confident in my decisions. I had such a positive birth experience and a huge part of that was her being there! Steph is one of the kindest and most humble people I have ever met and I couldn't recommend her any higher.

I was so supported during my birth with Steph. Always having a watchful eye for comfort, she recommended new positions and offered words on encouragement. During transition, she took my hand and held me through as I bloomed from mother to maiden. Steph knows and respects the sacredness of birth, she is such a great option to play the sacred role of doula.

If you’re expecting and looking for a doula, I had such a wonderful experience with Stephanie Galley. After our initial FaceTime conversation I knew she was the doula for me. She was so supportive leading up to my delivery and when my birthing plan changed due to preeclampsia she was reassuring and confident I would still be able to have the experience I wanted. She was there with us in the hospital the whole time and brought a sense of peace to the room. She helped me advocate for myself and believed in me, which gave me additional confidence as well. I’m so grateful to have found someone so kind, so compassionate, and so knowledgeable!

Steph was so excited and passionate about helping me as a first time mom. She checked in on me weekly, validated my feelings of nervousness and was a great resource for meal ideas. She provided me great packing lists for the birth center. During labor she was calm and kind. She provided me counter pressure and a small hand held fan that really made a difference. Postpartum she stopped by and gave support with her presence and let me talk and talk. I am so grateful I had her kindness and support through the whole pregnancy/birth/postpartum. I will always have a doula with my babies because of the difference Steph made in my first delivery.

Stephanie was amazing! I had a really hard birth and she was there with me for every step. I felt that she was very knowledgeable about techniques to help me through contractions and offered to try different things if they weren't working for me. She was also a great advocate for me with the hospital staff and helped to ensure that I had the birth that I wanted!

Stephanie is an incredible doula!! She is the perfect mix of involved, but not overbearing. She communicated well with my birth team and hospital staff to enforce what I wanted. She did a lot of the counterpressures and was proactive in helping me through the whole process. My husband said several times that he definitely couldn't have done it without her and she more than earned her money! She was a huge part of why I consider my baby's birth a success and I would recommend her to anyone! I also think her prices are more than reasonable for what she offers!! :)

Stephanie was an awesome doula! She was very respectful, kind, and the right energy for me. She was always calming to be around, which I felt I needed. She checked in periodically during my pregnancy to see how I was doing and answer any questions. When I went past my due date she sent me sweet texts of encouragement, which helped me wait for patiently for baby to decide when to come! At the birth, she was encouraging and offered physical support, like counter pressure, a fan to cool me down while pushing, reminded me to sip water (even holding the water bottle for me to drink from between pushes!), and let me rest my head on her and hold my hand. Basically, she was super encouraging and helpful the whole time and I was really happy she was there in my birth space.

Stephanie was the most wonderful Doula my husband & I could have asked for! She was always there when I needed her with what seemed like an instantaneous reply, whether I needed answers to questions, or just some encouragement. When I ended up changing providers, & ultimately scratching 75% of my birth plan at 30 weeks (from hospital to birth center), she was there to empower me, educate me, send me resources, everything I needed to make the right decisions for my body & baby, and my birthing experience. Stephanie 100% of the time encouraged me to follow my gut, and reminded me that I know best for me and my baby.

During the actual birthing experience of my son, especially with him being my very first baby, it was so nice to have somebody telling me what a great job I was doing, & letting me know that I was doing everything right when I was feeling at all scared. My midwives were excellent in doing things down below to take care of me & my baby, but Stephanie stayed right up by my face, constantly encouraging & coaching me & distributing counter pressure. It was a huge priority for me that my husband be incredibly involved to make this experience, memorable & sacred for him as well. She did an excellent job at helping him feel empowered & confident. He has since expressed to me that he can’t imagine how it would have been without her there, no matter how great the birth center and the midwives were. When my photographer didn’t make it in time, she took photos and video of mine & my husband’s emotional meeting of our sweet baby boy for the first time. Not a day went by for a month where I didn’t look at those videos & photos. I will truly cherish them forever.

I had the most incredible and empowering birthing experience, & I have Stephanie to thank for a huge part of that. If you invest in her & her services, I promise you will be forever grateful!
