We were so incredibly grateful to work with Cait in our postpartum journey as first time parents. We first sought help for our only the first few weeks with our son for caregiving and breastfeeding, but as our family struggled with PPD, Cait's guidance and support was even more central to our wellbeing and health as a family. I completely echo the other testimonials  - Cait is a godsend and also a wonderful person. If you are interested at all in postpartum support, I can't recommend more highly that you meet with Cait.

Working with Cait as our birth doula was probably the best decision around our child’s birth that we made. I immediately felt at ease, supported, and not judged by Cait from our earliest conversations. She provided great resources throughout pregnancy to help us feel prepared. She is incredibly knowledgeable and helped me understand my options to make the best decisions for me. When baby’s birthday finally came, she was there every step of the way and turned what could have been a scary rush to the hospital into a calm and beautiful process (even with some laughs).

She empowered both me and my husband throughout the whole process and helped us have a birth experience that exceeded our highest hopes. Months later, I still find myself thinking about it all the time and feeling overwhelmingly grateful for Cait and what she helped give my family. She continues to be a listening ear and helpful resource on our breastfeeding and parenting journey.

I could not recommend Cait more highly and thank my lucky stars to have found her.

My partner and I hired Cait as our postpartum doula, and couldn’t have been happier with the support we received. We first spoke with Cait over zoom before our baby was born, and from the first conversation we felt an immediate ease and connection with her. She shared some great resources off the bat including a recorded presentation about feeding that was incredibly helpful.

As first time parents, we had a lot of anxiety about basic newborn care. Cait held our hands and gave us guidance and peace of mind on everything from diaper change tips to giving our baby his first bath to so much support week after week with breastfeeding (different positions, engorgement and oversupply support, latch trouble, etc), and so much more. I loved her approach of having us do the task with her there to guide and support.

We expected to need support with newborn care, but what we didn’t expect to need so much was care for us as new parents. Cait made us feel taken care of from day one. She asked all the right questions about our own wellbeing, took care of our little one and made us delicious lunches for the week while we got much needed sleep, brought a jar of fresh tea for healing, and even gave me an incredible massage. I loved how she was able to read the situation and do little things that made our lives so much easier without our asking (like changing the sheets, throwing in a load of laundry, etc).

Cait was a calming presence in a very unsettling and emotional time, and we are forever grateful that we got to benefit from the care of such a skilled doula to make the transition a bit easier.

I cannot imagine a better pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experience than the one that Cait helped make possible for our family. After interviewing six doulas, I knew immediately Cait was the one for us. Her humor, experience, knowledge, calm and down-to-earth nature were truly invaluable. From laboring at home to a chaotic (and painful!) Uber ride from Brooklyn to midtown in Friday rush hour traffic, to the final pushes that brought my daughter into this world (~18 hours total), Cait was alongside me every step of the way. I could not have done it without her! She also helped greatly in postpartum -- with breastfeeding, random questions about poop, how to take care of myself as I went through my own struggles with PPD and PPA. She went above and beyond and made me and my husband feel like her only clients. Cannot recommend Cait enough!

Cait is one of the most wonderful people you could hope to meet and I feel so fortunate to have had her as the doula for the birth of my first child. Cait is compassionate, empathetic and kind. In the lead up to my birth she made me feel seen and took time to get to know me and my partner and to understand our preferences and concerns - I felt comfortable from the moment I met her. Cait is also hugely knowledgeable about the birthing process and perinatal care, which was really helpful and reassuring - especially as someone who is not from the US and was unfamiliar with the system here. During my labour, I felt so held and taken care of by Cait. My birth did not go according to plan but Cait was in our corner the whole time, helping my partner to advocate for our choices, and it’s because of her that the experience we had was a positive one. She made me feel safe, supported and made the birth feel special for me and my partner - I didn’t think I’d find myself having fun during labour but Cait made that happen too! I can’t say enough good things about Cait, and have recommended her to a friend. If I have any more children in the future I absolutely want Cait to be there!

From the first time I talked with Cait over Zoom, I felt a connection with her. She was knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and she even encouraged me to interview other doulas because her number one concern was making sure that I had the right person supporting me. After that initial conversation and reading her story on her website, I knew Cait was the right person to help guide me and my husband through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. At our two in person prenatal meetings Cait provided vital information and asked a lot of questions to understand what kind of support my husband and I needed. She also answered many, many questions over text, never making me feel like I was being silly or worrying too much. When I went into labor, Cait came to our house as soon as I asked her to. Throughout the next 36+ hours she gave constant help, guidance, and reassurance as I worked to bring my son into the world. In this postpartum period, she has continued to be a rock for me. When I was struggling in the first few days home with an infant, she came and reassured me that everything would be okay. She has answered even more texts with all kinds of questions, at all hours of the day and night. She has been my biggest supporter and cheerleader, helping me find my confidence as a new mom. If you are looking for someone who will give you all the evidence based information you could ask for, who will look at pictures of your baby's poop and tell you it's normal, and who can be your strong advocate in a medical setting, I urge you to talk with Cait to see if she is a good match for you.

I couldn't recommend using Cait as your postpartum doula more! She is warm, knowledgable, comforting and supportive. Cait is extremely helpful and was able to walk in each day and figure out what each member of my family need, she was especially great with my toddler who loved her. I learned so much about breastfeeding and my experience was entirely different and positive the second time around thanks to Cait. Cait helped us with delicious meals, rest(even with a toddler around!), and most importantly emotional support. We are so lucky to have found Cait!

Booking Cait as our postpartum doula was one of the best decisions that we made. As first time parents, both my husband and I were anxious about suddenly being responsible for our tiny new human when we brought our daughter home from the hospital. Cait was so incredible in helping us navigate the first days home from the hospital. She met us at our apartment the night we got discharged from the hospital and helped to arrange all my peri/postpartum supplies and medications following an exhausting 3-week early induction, unplanned C-section, and extended hospital stay. Our house was a mess with stuff all over the place from our baby shower and Cait helped to organize everything by sorting it into bins, sorted all our hand-me-down clothing by size/age, and got our place into baby-ready shape. She cooked us delicious nourishing meals, always checked in on our mental health with every visit—even gently pushing me to have difficult real conversations about my postpartum depression and anxieties as a first-time mom, gave amazing massages, answered all our exhausting clueless parent questions, and helped me to navigate breastfeeding, pumping, and all the challenging things that come along with lactation and feeding with patience and compassion. She even worked with us a little longer to do some extra lactation consulting sessions following our daughter's tongue and lip tie surgery. Cait is an absolutely gifted doula, who we now consider a friend, and we truly cannot sing her praises enough to all of our friends, friends of friends, and family who are expecting. She is THE BEST!

Cait was an incredible postpartum Doula and such a big help for our family. As first time parents, my husband and I were anxious about bringing our baby home but Cait helped to get us set up and supported us through our first few weeks. She took great care of our baby while we needed rest, taught us baby care basics, cooked us meals, and most importantly gave us the emotional support we needed in the early days of parenthood. Cait made sure to check in on both the baby and us as parents, making sure our physical and mental health were able to recover fully. Being a first time mom is an emotional time, and Cait was always there to help me through the ups and downs and to feel prepared and excited to enter into motherhood. We cannot recommend Cait enough and will be referring her to all of our family and friends who are expecting!

A friend referred me to Cait when I was early in my first pregnancy, and I could not be more grateful. Cait is a wealth of knowledge for all kinds of birth experiences. She seamlessly pivoted with us when we learned we needed a scheduled c-section, and helped us learn what to expect. Even though it was a c-section, Cait spent the whole day at the hospital with us helping with bonding and the first latch. She was there when we needed, and also gave us space when we needed. The postpartum support we received was incredible - she patiently corrected my breastfeeding techniques (like, for hours), hooked me up with a combo feeding plan when we had to suddenly introduce formula, taught me how to pump, cooked amazing food, gave me professional level massages, and asked all the right questions about my (and my partner's!) mental health. FULLY exceeded my expectations. Her approach is inclusive and trauma-informed - so necessary in birth work. You cannot go wrong with choosing Cait as your doula <3.

I remember debating during the second trimester whether or not it was worthwhile to hire a doula. It was definitely the best decision to work with Cait! I honestly had no idea what an impact having Cait would have. She offers a completely judgement free approach, and is there to answer any question (no matter how ridiculous it may be).

During pregnancy she was there to listen to my birth plan, and offered many solutions (natural remedies, massage techniques, as well as medications) for all of my physical pain from pregnancy I was experiencing.

I had an extremely tough labor, and Cait was there for about every second of it. When in labor, my birth plan changed, and Cait was so flexible and encouraging.

We dealt with some providers at the hospital who were challenging to work with, and Cait had my back. I in no way wanted Pitocin when arriving to the hospital, and Cait empowered me to advocate for myself, and she ensured no one forced that no one their agenda on me. I labored in the hospital for days, and Cait was there making sure I felt empowered, and offered an immense amount of physical and emotional support. I appreciated that she was able to find a way to include my husband throughout the entire process, and guided him when I needed him but didn’t exactly know how at the time.

I pushed for 4 hours, and Cait was there with the utmost positivity, and again, physical support, for the entire time.

She is someone who understands how challenging the postpartum period can be, and offered (and still offers), support. Breastfeeding is extremely challenging, and she helped me when I got home from the hospital to make it comfortable. She made sure I was physically and mentally okay after birth. When people ask me about my birth I always say that I wouldn’t be able to do it without my husband, and of course, my doula Cait. I honestly couldn’t recommend someone enough. She is terrific!
