Please please please do not hesitate to hire Dana, my partner and I decided to hire a Dana because a good friend recommended her and it was the best decision we could make., she gave us physical and emotional support during this hole journey. We are really grateful for the support she gave us and we totally recommend her work. Thanks Dana for helping me in my most vulnerable, amazing and scariest moment. I really couldn't have done it without you

Dana is incredible! Her support through my post partum journey was exactly what I needed. Dana is so thoughtful and kind she really understands how to care for mama and babe. She is so accommodating, it is evident she was made for this work. I am so fortunate to have found sage and stone and look forward to working with her again!

Dana with Sage and Stone Doula Care was nothing short of Amazing in support, comfort, love, reassurance, friendship, coaching, advocating and being an integral part of our pregnancy and birth.

When I found out we were pregnant with a surprise second baby, after being told for years we could not naturally have children, and after having a traumatic previous birth and less than stellar Doula experience with our first miracle; I knew I needed to change how this pregnancy and birth would go, as well as find a solid and loving support Doula. By chance, I asked for recommendations for a Doula in a local Mom's group and Dana was mentioned and she resonated with me.

From our very first meeting, Dana was warm and so supportive. It felt like I had known her for years. She was extremely knowledgeable and reassuring through all of the twist and turns of our pregnancy. When it came time for our induction, we could not have guessed at what a wild and unexpected labor it would turn into.
Dana held my hand through some of the toughest and scariest moments a laboring mother can experience. She advocated for me when things started going sideways and the medical staff were not moving with urgency.
Dana stood with us, encouraging me to push when we had to get the baby out as soon as possible. She was our Doula, but she was also our friend and biggest supporter.

This pregnancy and birth was such a positive experience, through all of the challenges and uncertainty; because we felt supported, cared for and  loved by our Doula.

I can not recommend Dana and Sage and Stone Doula Care enough. She is a wonderful human and truly goes through every curve of pregnancy and birth with you. She is more then a Doula, she is a Mother's Lifetime Friend.

I was tremendously blessed to work with Dana for my 15 weeks of maternity leave after I had my son. When I found out I was pregnant, I knew my postpartum journey needed to strongly focus on my mental health, my healing, and bonding with my baby.

With Dana's help, I was able to focus on my nutrition and healing, bonding with my baby, the life transition of 1 to 2 children, and a plan when I had to return to work. I looked forward to seeing her smiling face, a breath of fresh air, a sigh of relief. I felt I didn't have to hide my feelings, my thoughts or my struggles, she was there to support me in all the ways she could.

Dana was born to be a doula, and it deeply shows in her work. She is so proactive with her clients with prenatal and postnatal villages, ensuring all of her women know they are taken care of and loved. Even though my services with Dana have ended, she is still my lifeline any time I need a friend. If it were up to me, I'd have another baby, just to have Dana as my doula again.

Having a doula during my prenatal journey has always been super important to me. The doula I had with my first son moved to Florida so it meant I was on the hunt for someone I could trust just as much to support me with baby #2. I cannot thank Sage and Stone Doula Care enough. We instantly connected on the phone as I got to share my previous journey and she shared her experiences as well. From fresh flowers to bone broth, Dana made sure to take care of me and prepare me for my daughter's entrance into the world. She constantly checked up on me and our prenatal visits were always refreshing. When my delivery plans changed into a medical induction she held space for my sadness, but helped me adjust. Her kindness and supportiveness made it easy to shift the mindset and still have an amazing birth experience.

Postpartum care was really important to me this time and Dana made sure to check in constantly and along with amazing family support I’ve had, she helped make the postpartum process smooth especially the transition with a toddler. I cannot recommend her enough. If you or someone you know is looking for a doula, I highly recommend her!

Choosing Dana of Sage and Stone Doula Care was the best decision we made for our birthing journey. Our experience with Dana was nothing short of extraordinary, and we are immensely grateful for her unwavering support and care throughout our 30-hour labor with our son.

From the moment we met Dana, she made us feel completely at ease (and this was such a welcome feeling after having a negatve experience with a different PA doula). Her calming presence and expert guidance were invaluable during our long labor. She transformed the birthing tub room at the hospital into a serene, spa-like sanctuary with flameless candles and soothing music. This thoughtful touch created a peaceful environment that made such a difference in those intense moments.

Throughout labor, Dana was incredibly attentive, switching up birthing positions whenever labor seemed to stall. Her knowledge and intuition ensured that we were always comfortable and that our birthing process continued smoothly. Her encouragement and care made me feel supported every step of the way, and I could not have asked for a more compassionate and dedicated doula. She even joked around with my husband and I during labor, and made sure the mood remained positive!

The support didn’t end with the birth. Dana provided us with the most thoughtful food and gifts postpartum, which was a heartwarming and deeply appreciated gesture during our recovery period. Her continued care and kindness truly went above and beyond.

We cannot recommend Sage and Stone Doula Care highly enough. Dana made our birthing experience unforgettable and filled with love and support. If you are seeking a doula who will go the extra mile to ensure a nurturing and empowering birth experience, look no further than Sage and Stone Doula Care. Dana is simply the best!

When I found out I was pregnant I knew I needed a doula. I started a search with anxiety running high. I connected with Dana, after multiple women suggested her. Instantly, I felt like I was talking to an old friend. She made me feel comfortable and was very supportive in figuring out my wants and needs in the birthing process. She prepared me throughout the pregnancy decreasing my fears and anxieties.

Dana also is very involved with getting women together to encourage growth, love and support! I was able to connect to other pregnant women during my pregnancy in a women's circle through Dana's encouragement. It was a unique and bonding experience.

The day of labor, Dana got the phone call at 3 am, and was there within the hour. We spent the next 17 hours, laughing, telling jokes and bonding. All while she advocated for my needs, made sure I was comfortable, talked me through the process and made the room serene (flawless candles, essential oils and light music). I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
Dana is not only a doula she becomes a friend. She is a special person.

Dana was so thoughtful and accommodating. My toddler loved her and she was great helping with baby. She goes above and beyond to make you feel safe and cared for! Shes good at cooking post partum meals too and was able to adjust her recipes to match my dietary restrictions. So sweet!

I was so lucky to find Dana at 33 weeks pregnant -- my plan was to give birth at a birthing center with a midwife team (I had switched to them at 28 weeks) and they told me since I'm a first time mom I needed to hire a doula - I panicked a bit since I was 33 weeks when they told me that information and I wasn't sure how I could find someone with that short notice until I found Dana!!

my birth center plan turned into the hospital 4 days prior to my due date due to high blood pressure, Dana supported me through that change (I have hospital anxiety and was stressing!) she checked in on me every day to see how my blood pressure was until I went into labor on my exact due date

as a first time soon to be mom I had no idea what I was in for, my labor ended up being 27 hours and Dana stayed the entire time and made the room so cozy with electric candles and fairy lights She made it a very relaxing atmosphere and I'm so grateful for that since my contractions were anything but relaxing (iykyk)

I hadn't met midwife on duty at the hospital at any of my appts but I couldn't say I was a fan and luckily Dana was there to advocate/back me up since this midwife didn't have the best bedside manners.

after 27 hours my cervix had swelled from 9cm to 7cm and after waiting to see if the swelling would go down (it didn't) we prepped for a c section - Dana stayed for the c section even though we had to wait 3 hours longer and she captured so many beautiful photos of our brand new family and our beautiful baby girl!!

i genuinely believe that if it weren't for Dana my birth definitely would have traumatized me but being able to speak to her at postpartum visits helped me look at it without the trauma and appreciate the outcome/realize how tough I am from what I handled/went through during birth

I highly recommend Dana for your prenatal, labor, and postpartum support!! 10/10 doula!!!

Dana is everything you didn't know you needed! I would not have ever hired a postpartum doula for myself. My mother in law hired her for our family after we had our 4th baby. Needless to say, I'm more than happy and grateful for her company and support. She was kind and compassionate. She worked really well with our oldest son who is disabled. So if you're in need of someone who is familiar with Epilepsy, Developmental Delays and feeding restrictions, she'd be a perfect fit! She was also really patient and upbeat with our other 2 boys who never run out of energy! Of all of the doulas out there, you wouldn't regret it if you hired her on as part of your birth or postpartum support!

If you're seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable companion to accompany you on your birthing journey, look no further than Dana. She is the doula you wish for when you're crossing your fingers for that perfect birthing experience. Her passion for empowering mothers and her genuine commitment to fostering a positive birth experience make her an invaluable asset to any birthing team.

Dana's positivity is downright contagious. She's like a ray of sunshine in human form, beaming encouragement and support at every turn. Even when things got tough, her smile and optimism were the reassurance I needed. She's the kind of person who can see the positivity in every situation and was there for me when I needed someone the most.

When it was time for the big show, Dana transformed the delivery room into a sanctuary. The music, the aromatherapy, the fairy lights and candles - she created an atmosphere that was nothing short of magical. When my labor slowed down, she proposed positions and activities to keep things going. When I had doubts, she believed in my strength and me gave me the courage to keep going. With Dana in my corner, I felt like a champion. It was the best day of my life and if I could do it all over again, I wouldn't have changed a thing.

Dana, you're a star in my birth story. Thank you for making my journey into motherhood not just smooth but also fun and unforgettable. I'll be forever grateful for your guidance and your amazing spirit.

With love, Julia

Dana is an incredible woman and a fantastic postpartum doula. When I was pregnant with my third child, I knew I wanted extra support and was lucky enough to meet Dana at a local women's circle. I immediately liked her energy and so my husband and I decided to hire her. It's been a month since my baby was born and Dana has already been such a lifesaver. She's great at knowing what needs to be done, from folding laundry to washing dishes - which is so helpful in itself. But what I really love is having another woman present during my postpartum recovery to talk with, debrief my birth, be held by and generally cared for. I trust her to hold my baby and tend to my older kids while I rest. She bakes with them and plays games and they just absolutely adore her - just as much as I do but maybe even more! Whenever she is here, I feel my nervous system take a big exhale, such a relief to have her support. My only wish is that I had her for my first two pregnancies as well. I highly recommend her and will continue to have her come for the foreseeable future because she's made such a positive difference this time around. She's so sweet, kind, empathetic, so present and just a gem of a person. Worth every single penny!

I got blessed to be gifted time with Dana and I am truly thankful for her coming into my life. Having her gave me someone that I knew I could trust with the physical and emotional times with postpartum, having her was always a reassurance that I had someone to talk to. I had zero worries of every not having someone to come to when I needed support. She is one of the most supportive women I have ever met, and having some time with her always made me excited for the day.

I'm so grateful to have had postpartum help from Dana.  She is generous, honest, flexible, caring, and knowledgeable.  I felt comfortable with her from the beginning and her competence and tenderness as she helped take care of my newborn was obvious. I recommend Dana highly and without reservations!

I was gifted Dana's postpartum services by a family member for the birth of my second child. During our initial consult, I immediately felt totally at ease with Dana, and was confident that she would be a comforting presence in my home and with my family. What I could not have predicted was how much my 2 year old would come to love her, and how much I would value having her in my life as well! I feel so thankful for Dana, not just for her help during the postpartum/newborn months, but for the love she has shown my family, for her compassion, her kindness, her thoughtfulness, and the grace with which she handles herself. I honestly could not imagine anyone better suited for helping other mamas through their pregnancy, birth, or postpartum experience. I'm so grateful that Dana has come into my family, and will forever appreciate this time with her ♥?
