Sarah is an excellent doula. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to clients hoping for thorough, gentle, attentive, and inclusive support.
I first worked with Sarah when she stepped in as a backup doula for a birth I supported. She was reliable, well informed, and helped me deepen the scope of care for the client we supported together.
On top of this, Sarah is a pillar of community in perinatal health in Victoria. Through her tireless work to co-found the Abortion Support Collective, to her efforts to reach out to birthing families made vulnerable by precarious health supports and connect them to care, Sarah is a truly caring human being who goes out of her way to support her community.
Finally, Sarah incredibly knowledgeable. As a fellow doula, I turn to her with questions. She is well-informed reference towards evidence-based information and knowledge of community supports.
To anyone choosing to have Sarah support them, you could not be in better hands!

Sarah was an absolute gift during the birth of our baby, AJ, and we truly don’t think we could have done any of it without her. From the moment we met her, she was incredibly accommodating, offering support long before delivery and staying with us every step of the way after. She not only helped us navigate the birth itself but also created a community for our family, offering valuable resources and connections. Sarah was instrumental in helping us adjust to the first week postpartum, constantly checking in to make sure we were doing well, and her support for my partner Andrick was just as invaluable. She has such a compassionate and calming presence that made the vulnerable experience of labor feel safe and supported. Even now, she continues to check in, proving that her care doesn’t end after birth. Sarah has become a part of our family, and we are forever grateful for her help through this life-changing time.

Rarely do you meet someone so helpful, smart, competent in their area, and good with people. She helped me in all the ways she could which I noticed right away and this didn't change throughout. She was full of good info in a digestible format and was so so patient with me. Again, in every way, she tried to go above and beyond and I appreciated so much the thoroughness and comfortable approachability she had towards me. She is full of good surprises and I am so grateful to have had her. She deserves the recognition and I hope other people will be able to enjoy such a helpful experience as I had. I sincerely wish that she gets to use her talents amply. There's a great need for people like her, especially in this crucial profession, but in the world in general.

Sarah was my back-up doula when I had a family emergency and couldn't be with my clients. She provided reassurance and hands on help in a tricky situation. She is thorough in her care, leaving families well-equipped to handle challenges. Anyone would be lucky to have Sarah's kind and attentive support on their birth and postpartum journey!
