Ally is an incredible doula, teacher, and person. Having her work with my husband and I leading up to the birth of our first child and then with us through labor and delivery made the experience extremely supportive, grounding, and beautiful. Because of Ally’s extensive knowledge and ability to effectively share this knowledge, I felt completely confident in every decision I made along the way on my pre- and postnatal journey. I’ve learned so much about the beauty of birth, my body, and a mom’s strength from Ally, and I’m so grateful to have her in my corner. You simply want Ally on your birth team.

Ally was introduced to me through my mother at the time I needed her the most.  Being a new mom is both exciting and terrifying, and I needed to feel confident that I was not only properly taking care of my baby but myself.  Ally gave me a lot of great pointers for newborn baby care and was someone who was also there to talk to when I was feeling lonely or overwhelmed.  Ally helped me with household chores when I fell behind, and listened patiently to all my worries and brainstormed with me how to alleviate those worries.  I would recommend Ally as a postpartum doula to family and friends, she is that great.

I met Ally in the spring of 2023 when I was roughly 7 weeks pregnant with my second child, third IVF attempt. My first pregnancy after IVF was relatively easy but the delivery was less than pleasant and I felt completely out of control. When I met Ally, I knew I wanted a doula this time around and was close to signing a contract..then I met Ally. Ally and I immediately clicked and once I found out she was a doula I knew she was the one. Ally and I had multiple face to face meetings to prepare for my birth. I had a scare around 36.5 weeks and Ally was on standpoint despite the almost hour drive between us. I ended up with a scheduled induction at 37 weeks. Ally and I came up with a game plan and stayed in contact until she arrived just before they broke my water at 8pm. Ally came in with her bag and tricks and assured me that we could do whatever I needed to be comfortable. There was music, candles, massages, peanut ball, etc. Our miracle made her presence just a few hours later. Ally documented my entire labor process by taking pictures which was really special to see. The breathing exercises and stretches Ally taught me throughout our time together made for a easy and beautiful delivery. I have already recommended Ally to a few other Mom and only regret not having a doula with my first. Ally was the support, guidance, and confidence booster I needed to feel comfortable and safe during my delivery. I am forever grateful and now have a beautiful story to tell both my children of how I changed the narrative by seeking help! THANK YOU ALLY for EVERYTHING!
