We are so thankful we hired Leah to be our Doula for our first birth! She is a wonderful human being and an excellent Doula. I knew I wanted a doula from the very beginning and it was such a blessing that we were matched with Leah just days before I gave birth. I was terrified about giving birth and most concerned about medical complications and having an emergency c section. Leah was helping us prepare mentally and physically before my induction in ways that I didn’t even expect a doula to get to know me and care for me and my baby. She helped me process some personal stressors that could subconsciously take away from my birth experience. During labor, Leah was readily available via text or call and checking in on us as much as possible. She was already headed to the hospital before we told her it was go time. The pain was difficult to manage at first but Leah had prepared me with all my options and came in clutch with peppermint oil during active labor. I had an excellent birth experience and everything went according to my birth plan with me and baby being very healthy, praise God! Leah’s services was a great investment that we made. We hope to have Leah available again for our next baby’s birth!

It was incredible to have Leah in my corner as the Doula during my pregnancy and my birth. I could've not asked for a better Doula during this time. Even from afar, via video chat, she was always there for me no matter what. It was such an honor to have her through my experience of becoming a first time mom.
The most I was concerned about before giving birth was the process of asking certain questions in regards to labor and delivery. Being a first time, mom, I was unsure about the specific questions to ask once I was informed I would need to be induced and have my baby in the hospital, which was not part of my original birth plan.
Your support was amazing while I was pregnant and while I was giving birth, and even after my baby was born! You were available for me as soon as I had a question about anything in regards to Pregnancy related questions or in the fourth trimester. Since I had an unplanned birth plan for a hospital birth, you were there to keep me grounded while I had certain concerns and questions. You guided me on asking questions when it came to certain methods the hospital wanted to use in regards to induction and labor.
If someone wasn't sure about hiring you, I would say absolutely give you a chance! Your calming presence and reassurance and knowledge of the body when it comes to pregnancy and babies is amazing and it's something I wish I would've known sooner when I first found out I was pregnant. It kept me calm, knowing I could come to you at any point, and you would help me through my concerns which entailed for my body or my baby. I can't wait to have my next baby because I know you'll be there by my side every step of the way.

My husband and I loved having Leah as our Doula! Not once- but magically twice!

Leah was there for us every step of the way and never let us wonder about anything, she answered so many late night questions/worries and put us at ease.

I had a high risk pregnancy making my delivery more complicated than most and she made sure she knew and understood everything. She went above and beyond to ensure that we were able to follow my birth plan as much as possible while dealing with my additional medical complications. She was an advocate and made sure my husband and I knew the benefits and risks of each decision while in the hospital. Due to being high risk- I was extremely anxious prior to and all thru the delivery, Leah is the most calming person I know and quickly jumped into action to calm my nerves. She made sure my husband wasn’t too worn out either (that he went and ate and got some sleep while I was in the hospital).

Leah taught my husband how to assist me so that he could participate and make me more comfortable. After our first birth we moved across the country and couldn’t hire her for our second child. But that all changed when I was in the hospital and in need of assistance. We called her and she answered- seriously above and beyond!! She helped to turn around a rocky situation and got us thru another delivery- COMPLETELY VIRTUAL!! It was amazing- SHE is amazing! She has so many techniques and knew us so well from the first birth that she was able to jump into action without warning.

We owe our 2 safe, healthy deliveries to her.

I cannot recommend her enough! You will not be disappointed in your decision to have her by your side on the hardest and most magical day of your life!

Leah was everything I could've hoped for in a doula and much much more. From professional advice to personal support, she was there to help my wife and I every step of the way.

 During check in's she was very thorough and full of useful guidance. This was our first birth and having her to lean on was such a weight off our shoulders. 

When it came time for the big moment Leah guided us through early labor and helped us to understand when to get ready to leave for the hospital. She came the moment we needed her at the hospital and was absolutely vital support during the birthing process. Her guidance and hard work through the birth was absolutely key and we are so happy to have had her in the room with us to welcome our baby. 

 Her efforts didn't stop there, for as new time parents we had plenty of questions. Even after the hospital she was there to lend an ear and give us much needed expertise. I cannot recommend Leah enough and we are so grateful she was our doula.

My wife has left her testimonial, but Leah left such an impression on us that I felt the need to add my words in support. Leah was so helpful to both of us, not just my wife. She was an advocate in times of stress, a coach through times of pain, and comfort in all of the slow, stressful waiting that comes with a birth. Her skills, knowledge, and ability to build a relationship with the nurses (and with in-laws!) and her ability to identify where she can be helpful and then just do it leave no room for criticism. Our son's birth was an amazing, terrible, amazing night - and Leah was an important part of getting us through it and helping us find the bright spots. If we ever have another kid, we will tell Leah before we tell our family and friends!

We absolutely loved working with Leah and can't imagine our son's delivery without her. She was so calm and supportive during my labor, while also being an advocate for me when it came to pain relief and our other birth preferences. Our son was taken to the NICU immediately upon delivery and my husband went back and forth between us. Leah stayed with me constantly after the delivery until we knew our baby was okay. Having her there to comfort and support both me and my husband during that time made all the difference in the world. We will definitely be calling Leah again if we have another!
