As a first time mom, I was very anxious about birth. I met and worked with Brittany and cannot say enough great things about my birth experience and her hand in it. My husband and I met with brittany two times prior to my due date to get to know eachother, discuss birth plans, fears, etc. She was always easy to talk to and very easy to reach when we had questions for her. Fast forward to labor, Brittany arrived at the hospital shortly after I was admitted and helped through labor, suggesting specifi movement to help with comfort, talked through what to expect next, and help calm my nerves when it was time to deliver. Overall, I had a great birth experience and having Brittany in the room during labor and delivery led to the great experuience that I had. 

Brittany always went the extra step to ensure that she could help. Months after my birth and working with her, I reached out with some questions related to a breastfeeding and she was so helpful, reaching out to her resources and doula database for even more insight into the unique situation I was reaching out to her about. 

If you're thinking about having a doula, Brittany is the BEST choice and my family and I can't thank her enough for being there to help us have such a great experience welcoming our first baby into the world!

Hiring Brittany was one of the best decisions I made during my pregnancy. My pregnancy became a bit hectic with a diagnosis of IUGR, but Brittany would send me links to podcasts and other resources to help me be as informed as possible. She would also send me links to pregnancy and birth exercises, meditations, and more. 

At the birth, Brittany was a great middle man between me and the doctors to explain why they wanted to do things and provide alternative suggestions. My husband was also a huge fan and would recommend her to anyone; she definitely kept him calm as well! She was kind enough to stay until I was moved to the Mother/Baby room. 

I would definitely work with her again  for another pregnancy.

Brittany was absolutely great! I loved her calm energy and all the support that I received while giving birth. I made it up to 9cm before getting and epidural and a huge part of that was just how calm and gentle Brittany was when supporting me along the way. Also I didn't know that your partner had to leave while an epidural is being giving but they let the doula stay so it was amazing having a full support system from start to finish. Would absolutely recommend!

Brittany was an essential part of our daughter being born this past May 2024. She has such a calming presence that is definitely needed during our time at the hospital. She was such a huge support to not only me but my husband as well. She continued to follow up with us after and stayed in touch. We would absolutely use Brittany again, it felt like having a friend there supporting us every step of the way!

Brittany supported us during the birth of our son in 2024. She was such a fantastic resource to have by our side as we navigated gestational diabetes, a breech baby and a c-section. She is incredibly knowledgeable and shared so many resources as we prepped for birth, from info to help try to turn the baby to birth plan templates to postpartum resources. On the day of our planned c-section, I was incredibly nervous however Brittany remained calm and kept me grounded during surgery prep. She also went out of her way to work with the surgical team so she could be allowed in the OR during the final prep and spinal block (the part I was most scared for). During the entire day, she never left my side and her support never wavered. 

Brittany continues to follow up even weeks postpartum with podcasts and resources to support us as we navigate new parenthood. I highly recommend her as your doula and will absolutely be working with her again for any future children. I can't thank her enough for her support during this very special time!

Brittany was the support we didn’t know we needed. I had known I wanted a doula for the birth of my first child, but my husband didn’t get why it was so important until we were in the thick of it. We did everything we were supposed to and were as prepared as we possibly could be and yet of course, nothing went as planned. Without Brittany by our sides, keeping us calm and focused on the task at hand, I don’t know if things would have gone as smoothly given the circumstances had she not been there. She made me feel safe while helping my husband to feel like he was not alone and had someone to turn to for help and guidance during a somewhat scary time. Thankfully we are all healthy and happy three months later and I can look back on that day fondly thanks to her. Even though the birth of my first child didn’t go how I wanted it to, the support and love I was surrounded by on that day will always be in the forefront of my mind when I remember the experience of my baby entering the world and the day I became a mother. If you are on the fence about having a doula for the birth of your child, this is your sign to go for it! I promise you won’t regret it, especially if you choose Brittany for your birthing journey! Her kind heart mixed with her peaceful presence, authoritative disposition, and passion for all things pregnancy and birth related, make her the most amazing doula! I truly think she has found her calling. We are both so grateful to have met Brittany and I can’t wait to have her by our side again for my next birth!

Brittany is a wonderful, insightful doula who truly cares! She goes out of her way to make sure you are comfortable and have the knowledge you need for your desired birth.

I texted her all throughout my pregnancy and postpartum with any questions or concerns I had. She always gave great advice and made me feel at ease.

And during my natural birth she was at my side the whole time and then some. I went ~42 weeks and wanted to have a natural birth so I was very stressed toward the end since I almost was unable to birth at my birth center. Luckily, everything worked out just in time! But Brittany was there for me and sent me positive messages when everyone else was just asking where baby was and when I'd be induced.

She will be your advocate for whatever you desire and will learn your birth plan! You are in great, comforting hands with Brittany!! ??

As a first time mom, having a homebirth, I knew I really wanted a doula by my side throughout the process, as it can be an unfamiliar journey for my husband and I. He wasn't sure what the role was of a doula, even after stressing how great it would be to have one, but my husband and I were so thankful after the fact to have Brittany by our side throughout the whole experience of pregnancy and child birth. Being that it was her first homebirth as a doula, you would have thought she had done this a thousand times over. Amazing isn't the word that does justice for how incredible of a person she is. Brittany made me (and my husband) feel safe, secure, and was reassuring every single minute I was in labor and delivery. She captured photos for us that we will look back on forever as the most beautiful moments we have experienced as new parents. I could not recommend Brittany enough to any family thinking about having a doula by their side. I would without a doubt want Brittany as our doula over and over again with any babies we have in the future.

Brittany Longo is an incredible doula. She was such a strong support for me during both my pregnancy and labor. When I was thinking about changing medical providers around 36 weeks, Brittany immediately stepped in and helped me to look into others providers. It was an immense help at a time when I was stressed about possibly making a change.

Reflecting on my labor, I know I couldn't have done it without Brittany. Having been induced, I had very strong contractions without much of a break. When she arrived, she immediately went into action and provided counter pressure massage that provided immediate relief to me. She also talked me through each contraction in a very calm, soothing way. She also captured beautiful pictures of my labor that my husband and I will cherish.

 I highly recommend Brittany as a doula. It will be one of the best decisions you will make during your pregnancy!

Brittany was absolutely wonderful from start to finish (and still today). She is always available to answer any questions, talk on the phone/zoom, etc. which was very nice throughout my pregnancy. Once I was in labor, Brittany did not leave my side. She met my husband and I at the hospital and stay with us until our baby boy arrived and even spent a little time with us after. Brittany has a very calming demeanor and was there to help with all of the emotional and physical support I needed. When we first met her, we knew she'd be the perfect fit because of this - she is warm, friendly, loving and very knowledgeable. We're so happy she was a part of our experience and was there to help welcome our healthy baby boy!

Brottany Longo based in Union County , NJ is by far the best doula I have ever worked with. She is my second doula, having assisted me with baby number 3. Right off the bat she has been an invaluable resources for my  care and preparation as I went thru pregnancy and then labor itself. I felt safe and heard by her. When I went into spontaneous labor she was my calm in the storm. I feel blessed to have had her support thru my pregnancy and wish I had met her for my first and second too! She is a 10/10 and I would not hesitate to recommend her to all my friends and family.

Brittany's support was very appreciated. She was gentle, caring, and supportive thoughout my entire labor. It is without a doubt that Brittany was the best choice for my journey to becoming a mother. My husband and I arranged a meeting with Brittany early in our decision making process. We hadn’t even decided whether or not we wanted a doula but after meeting with Brittany we felt that not only would it be necessary but that we had already found the right one! If you’re like me, you may be feeling anxious and rightfully so, this is an incredibly vulnerable moment in your life. It’s important to have a strong team to help guide you through your journey. Naturally, that starts with the core people in your life, maybe your spouse, family, or friends. But don’t overlook the importance of what an amazing doula like Brittany can mean not just on the day of delivery but in the lead up to and postpartum. The wealth of knowledge and support that Brittany offered throughout the process was invaluable. She immediately made me feel comforted in that she knew exactly what I needed without me having to say a word to her, which was so important during labor. Like any first time mother, there was so much that I didn’t know. Britanny not only prepared me for the journey to come but made herself available practically 24/7 for all of my questions and concerns. When I went into labor she was right there in my corner advocating for me, coaching me up, and even capturing my first moments as a mother. Britanny also made sure I had a smooth transition to motherhood. I had the most difficulty postpartum and she continued to check in with me for support and shared helpful resources. Her care was so genuine.

Brittany is a consummate professional. Being a doula is clearly a career of passion for her and it shows. In my short time knowing her, she has had a profound impact on my family. If you are considering hiring a doula, you’d be hard pressed to find someone more qualified and capable.
