I am a wife, mother of 2 sweet girls, believer, and lover of all creatures big and small. Educating myself as an adult has made me realize how little we truly learn about the processes our bodies go through as women. I want to be able to help women understand their options for pregnancy, birth and beyond. After choosing midwifery care for the incredibly beautiful and empowering pregnancy and birth of my daughter in 2021, I felt called to support women and their partners through the journey of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Everyone deserves the kind of care that is important to them.... whatever that looks like. I strive to educate women throughout their pregnancy to give them the confidence that their body and baby know what they are doing. That they are safe and that birth is a beautiful physiological process that is so incredibly empowering. I am here to encourage, nurture, and support you every step of the way.

As a first time mom I had thought a lot about getting a doula to support us through pregnancy and the delivery of our sweet little one, and it was definitely one of the best decisions we made for us. Patience was nothing but kind, supportive, and helpful. She brought invaluable knowledge, experience, and was able to answer any questions we had. I remember shortly before our baby arrived, my husband and I were saying to each other that we couldn't have done it without her, and we were so glad she was there. It was such a gift to have her support! We would definitely want her present again if we have more children.

We found Patience after our Bradley Instructor recommended a doula she is contracted under. My husband and I are first time parents and were very new to everything labor and delivery. We were originally skeptical of a doula and hesitant because of the investment a doula is. After talking to a few friends who have had babies naturally, my husband and I felt like we really needed a doula. She kept close contact over text the next few weeks when I had lots of questions. I ended up delivering at 41w. 6d., so I was trying all the things to naturally induce labor. Patience was so helpful with suggestions during those stressful weeks of waiting. My ob/gyn had a scheduled induction for the night of 41w. 6d. was getting so defeated. Patience kept suggestions different things to speed up labor and intensify contractions. My labor ended up being almost 40 hours and eventually my husband and I decided to get the epidural so I could rest, get my bag of waters broken, and I quickly pushed my son out after that. It was SO difficult and way longer than I thought it would be. It was so wonderful to have her suggesting things when my husband and I didn't know what to do, to have someone to lean on when my husband got tired (and I NEEDED someone there during cotractions), to have her bringing water, chapstick, snacks, etc. I simply don't know what we would've done without her!! She took pictures when I was pushing and put together a timeline of when some of the big things during labor happened. We had 2 postpartum meetings with her and she has just been so wonderful giving us suggestions and answering all our questions. She was so respectful of us being Catholic and our faith being an important aspect to us during labor. She also had such wonderful suggestions for doing things naturally but was not anti epidural as a tool in certain situations. I would 100% recommend her to anyone and I already have recommended her to some friends. Thank you Patience!

We were so blessed to have Patience as our doula as first time parents. Patience was so easy to work with, and my husband and I truly felt like a friendship developed from our time together. She was very responsive to any text or call and always offered helpful suggestions and information to our questions. I felt as though she truly cared about our birth experience and kept our birth plan always at the forefront of her mind. Our prenatal meetings were highly valuable as we learned so much of what happens during labor and delivery, interventions, the miles circuit, and breastfeeding. Having Patience at my labor was unmatched. She helped with positioning, pain relief, writing down important timeline events, and offered the pros and cons to any interventions. She made our labor and birth the best that it could possibly be. I highly recommend hiring Patience as a doula!

Patience was amazing! I would highly recommend her doula services. We will definitely be using her again in the future.
We had decided very last minute that we wanted a doula to assist. Patience is very informed in regards to different positions and techniques to try to help with certain labor pains and was not afraid to be hands on to assist.
If you are in the fence about having a doula in general, I HIGHLY recommend having one as they are a great support system, especially if it's your first time.

Our home birth experience would not have been as amazing as it was without Patience! She brought so much peace, knowledge, support, and encouragement to both myself and my husband during our labor and delivery. Her availability during the post partum period to answer any questions and offer advice and support was also wonderful. As long as we're in the area, we would love to use her services again.

I had never met Patience before she came to the hospital to support me in labor. My husband and I had gotten COVID when we were supposed to meet up with her. But soon after she showed up at the hospital, I knew we were in great hands.
Honestly, I would not have made it through my labor well at all without Patience.
She encouraged me constantly, gave space for my husband to help support me alongside her, administered counterpressure that actually counteracted my labor pains, and just encouraged me through a very difficult labor.
She came to the hospital and stayed until I felt ready for her to leave... All in all, it was over 30 hours that she was there.
Because of dangerous complications, I ended up having a C-Section and was so sad about it. Patience again encouraged me and held my hand as I cried.
Honestly, Patience just had such great intuition about what I needed at each and every moment.
My husband and our son are absolutely indebted to her for her support and incredibly gentle and stabilizing presence through my labor.
Looking back, I cannot imagine the labor and delivery without her.
We will absolutely be calling her for our next baby's delivery!
