Deanna was lovely to work with! At each prenatal visit, she was very supportive! She was always eager to answer any questions I had and provide resources based on my needs. She was very easy to meet with and has a calming presence. When she arrived at my birth space, I instantly was relieved. She instantly took action to support me. She made suggestions and was very respectful of my desires. She shared affirmations during intense active labor that encouraged me. She worked with my birth team seamlessly. Due to the speed of my home birth, my midwife's nurse hadn't arrived yet when my child was born. Deanna didn't hesitate to fill in and help out. Our postpartum visit was so encouraging and low-key, which is exactly what I needed. I highly recommend her!

I could not have had a better match for a doula than Deanna. She made me, a first time mom, so comfortable in our prenatal visits and encouraged us with stories of other mommas and  shared the most helpful information. During our home birth, she literally never left my side. Her voice calmed and soothed me through each contraction and the supports she offered always helped. It was an amazing experience that I'd do over again. The hardest part is missing her, now that our visits are over. <3

We were late to the game on deciding we wanted a doula for our birth at 36 weeks, but Deanna agreed without hesitation to be our doula. From the beginning, Deanna's kindness and love for birth shown through. She made sure we were informed about all things birth including more than we learned at the hospital classes. Her empathy and experience were exactly what we needed during birth, and we were SO thankful for her support and giving my husband a break from comfort measures when he needed them. We also appreciated her Christian faith which accompanied ours to bring God into our birth. 5 out of 5 stars for Deanna! :)

Working with Deanna was a wonderful experience.

She is a great resource to have to ask questions, good books references, or a medical articles while pregnant.

During labor she was a soothing force in the room. My labor was slow and painful and she was full of resources with positions that could help me progress and positions that would help me rest. More than once she talked to my nurses on my behalf to make my experience less painful. We were very blessed to have her.

Deanna was my doula for my birth in May of 2023. She met with me several times before my due date and gave me a lot of documents and other resources to help me prepare for a psychological birth. She went over what to expect during each stage of labor as well as coping mechanisms. She helped to calm my anxieties and worry by assuring my of my body’s capabilities by God’s design to give birth. She does so in such a maternal, comforting way. I could sense the Holy Spirit’s presence from her, and I felt strengthened and calm just by being around her. Her touch was so comforting in labor; she gave me hip squeezes, spoke affirms to me, helped hold pressure points and helped me try different positions in labor. Her presence made me feel very secure, I liked having someone in the hospital room with me the whole time who could help me through each stage. 

Deanna stayed for a while after the baby was born and provided emotional support. She was also available by text anytime I had a question and was very helpful by recommending resources during pregnancy and after birth. She also checked in with me after birth and continue to text me and send me resources for additional services and pediatricians.

I recommended Deanna to a friend as well, and she chose her as a doula. I’m very happy with the services she provided and the care she gave my husband and I! She was such a blessing to our family.

I was beyond blessed to have Mrs Deanna as my dula. I really couldn't have gone through labor without her. Mrs Deanna was by my side every step of the way, from having Braxton Hicks contraptions to real labor contraption. She made me felt safe, heard, and seen. During the most painful contraptions Mrs Deanna encourages me to squat, switch positions, she spoke words of encouragement and reassurance, rubs my back, massage my waist and hips, made me laugh and even through the hardest squeezes Mrs Deanna never let go of my hands. She answered every single question I had and translated everything the doctors and nurses were saying and doing. Through waiting for the arrival of my son, I formed a personal connection with Mrs Deanna from telling her about my backgrounds to squeezing her hands I felt like I wasn't alone. Mrs Deanna exceeded every single expectations I had and more, she made sure all my labor requests were met, she answered any questions the nurses asked she was truly my voice when I was in too much pain to speak.  I am now two weeks postpartum and Mrs Deanna is the first person I go to when I have questions, doubts, concerns about my precious newborn. I am truly grateful and beyond blessed to have had the absolute best dula and friend through this new journey of my life.

This is Kabita one of the friend of Deanna who I know her closely and about Daula. This is the best program I had ever which help me from the beginning to end of my journey. She taught me different kind of positions to do exercises and also main in my delivery time she was my main role to have my normal delivery without epidural. I encourage everyone please do ask or join this Duala program if you want to have normal delivery.

Our birth was better with Deanna as part of our team. She was easy to talk to and quickly available whenever we texted or needed support before, during, and after the delivery. She is flexible and followed our questions or interests for the birth experience we were hoping for.

It was a joy to have Deanna as my doula. She was so helpeful providing resources, tips, books, podcasts and more before labor. I always felt supported when asking questions. During labor she was so helpful by respecting my birth plan, explaining procedures, recommending other positions and supporting my husband. Through the whole process, she listened to us and got us excited about the birth experience. We are so grateful for her support and look forward to working with her again in the future.

Deanna was such a joy to work with! She made my pregnancy so easy - she was always calming and reassuring that everything was OK because we were designed, as women, to do this. I can't wait to hire her again for my next pregnancy!
