Shauntrelle's communication through the whole process was amazing. She reached out every day just to see how we were doing, giving words of encouragement and reminding me she was always there for me. When labor was intense and I didn't know what needed to be done, I could hear her voice over everything. She would check on me daily, and it really helped build a trusting relationship with her. She went above and beyond what I could've ever imagined. There is no way we would've been able to have the birth we wanted if it wasn't for Shauntrelle. My husband was beyond happy and so grateful we had her with us and if we ever decide to have another baby, I hope more than anything we can have Shauntrelle there with us.

Having Shauntrelle as a part of my birth team was amazing. The help she provided was invaluable and I would not have gotten through my birthing experience without her. Because of Shauntrelle I was prepared mentally and physically to welcome my contractions during the entire labor process. Shauntrelle was excellent while I was pregant and helped my partner and I with stretching exercises, meditation, breathing exercises, and educated us thoroughly on the birth process and what we might face. She was always readily available for us when we needed her guidance or had questions. My labor and the birth of our child ended up being completely opposite of what we planned. I faced multiple interventions, a long labor, and eventually a c-section. Despite all of this, I felt calm and prepared with Shauntrelle by my side. She is truly amazing and I am so thankful for her presence during pregnancy, labor, and post-partum.

Shauntrelle made so many wonderfully helpful suggestions through my labor. Everything she did was outstanding. One thing that especially made a difference, were the counterpressure measures she applied when having back labor. My mom who came as my birth partner was not able to replicate what she was able to do in providing such wonderful relief.

I didn’t have a particularly good experience with the midwife that attended my birth. Shauntrelle made the difference, turning what would have been a disappointing and frustrating experience, into a beautiful positive experience that I can look back on fondly. She was there, she was in it, she was positive, supportive, gentle, and kind. Everything she did was helpful and encouraging. I could sense that she truly cared about me and my baby. Overall, she played THE key role in making my birth experience calm and positive.

My biggest regret is not meeting Shauntrelle sooner in my pregnancy journey. I connected with her in the third trimester, I would’ve loved to have her amazing support throughout my pregnancy.

Her warm smiles and encouragement throughout were so Empowering to me. I am so thankful to have had her be part of such a special moment into my life and my baby’s.
