To put it simply, having Kristin support us was one of the best decisions we've ever made and I hope you get the lucky chance to work with her like we did.
We interviewed a number of doulas prior to giving birth and none gave me complete confidence. However, that all changed when I had a phone call with Kristin.
As first time parents, my husband and I were very overwhelmed. Kristin was there to support us every step of the way without any judgment. I remember the first night she came over and asked me how I was doing. Based on my response, she went into quick action. I clearly needed a hug and space for myself. She cared for my baby the rest of the evening and let me focus on me.
She was the catalyst to ensure that my mental health was being looked after she encouraged me to actually attend different support groups and talk to other moms. She brought me nourishment for my soul through non-judgmental conversations and my physical body a.k.a. food.
As time went on, Kristin helped open my eyes and showed me different ways to care for my little one. She was actually the reason I started dressing my little one in real clothes. For some reason, it never clicked in my mind that babies wear real clothes and not just onesies until I saw Kristin dress my little one with clothes we had folded away. Kristin also showed me different ways to hold my little one and what she did to help settle down our little baby faster as well when he would cry.
Honestly, I don't know where we would be without Kristin helping us for the first 8-12 weeks. Kristin set us up for long-term success so we can be more confident parents. I feel so lucky to have met Kristin and even more lucky that we were able to work together. Kristin is very passionate about supporting moms and I'm so grateful. Thank you, Kristin - you are a gem!

Kristin was a huge blessing for our family when we had our second baby. She took over all of the baby's needs and let me have some much needed rest. She helped out on housekeeping chores and also took care of me by cooking nutritious foods. I felt very comfortable leaving her in charge of my baby so I was able to relax and run a few errands as well. Kristin's calm demeanor was so soothing for my baby, who did great in her arms. For the mamas out there who are thinking about getting some postpartum help, don't hesitate to call Kristin.

Kristin supported my husband and me in caring for our newborn for the first three weeks postpartum. Her unwavering support and expertise made a huge difference in navigating this postpartum phase.
From bathing and feeding techniques to soothing methods, Kristin's knowledge was a guiding light during those early days of parenthood. Kristin seamlessly integrated into our household, offering invaluable support with practical tasks, ensuring we were well-nourished, and creating a warm and nurturing environment. Her ability to anticipate our needs was truly remarkable.
What stood out most was Kristin's genuine care and friendliness. Her presence was a source of comfort to me, and her calm demeanor helped create a positive atmosphere during an overwhelming time.
In short, Kristin was not just a postpartum doula to us; she became a trusted companion on our journey into parenthood. I wholeheartedly recommend Kristin to any new parents seeking not only expert guidance but also a caring presence to make their postpartum experience more manageable and enjoyable.

One of the biggest gifts Kristin gives to this world is her presence and passion for helping others. As a fellow practitioner focusing on women's health and wellness, I see firsthand the need of supporting women and families in their transition to parenthood. Kristin is passionate about providing compassionate care to families in an often vulnerable and delicate time in their lives. Kristin is a caring, calm, and reassuring presence. She guides new families with focused care and attention. She has plenty of resources and referrals that she loves to share with others. Kristin has also received numerous hours of parent education classes through her time spent as an involved parent at a local parent participation co-op preschool. She enjoys sharing knowledge learned with others to spread information on the importance of play-based education, positive discipline, and various parenting resources. I couldn’t recommend her enough, especially since I experienced first hand the difference her support made for our family.

When I became pregnant, I was very interested in learning more about postpartum doula support. I knew the birth of my son would be the biggest life change for us and with limited experience with newborns, we decided that we would benefit from it. My son was born at the end of 2020, which was right in the middle of the pandemic. When I met with Kristin, we talked about so many questions I had and she was a wealth of information.
When my son was born, Kristin provided exceptional and genuine care for our baby and with a great nurturing and caring energy. It was so comforting to us to have her with us during our journey. Kristin even cooked a few meals for us and helped us set up our nursery.
As you can imagine we were beyond exhausted. Kristin was incredibly helpful with going above and beyond with caring for him while we rested. She also made sure I was hydrated and nourished and also made padsicles at our house to assist with healing after birth.
Additionally, Kristin was a wealth of information. She taught us how to burp and bottle feed our son using paced bottle feeding, she showed us how to change diapers, reminded us how to properly swaddle and assisted with breastfeeding information and positioning.
She was very knowledgeable with every question we asked and guided us with many helpful hints. What I really appreciated was that she was even available over text message and of course over the phone.
We would highly recommend Kristin to anyone looking for extra support after birth. We will be forever grateful to her for assisting us on our most special journey.

Being a teacher, it's rewarding to see a student learn to accomplish their goals independently by the end of a school year. I love knowing they are more prepared having had me as a teacher. Kristen has been an incredible part of my parenting experience so far. I feel more prepared and capable now after having spent time with her. Everything can be so scary, challenging, and confusing, but she made me feel like it was all part of the growing and learning process. I can't imagine what our lives would look like if Kristen hadn't been a part of it. I would recommend her to anyone wanting support during their postpartum time. I'm so grateful that I got to spend this short time enjoying my daughter more, with less stress and anxiety around such new expectations.
