As soon as I found Kristen’s website I had a feeling that she would be the right doula for us and once we had interviewed her and a few others my husband and I decided very quickly that she was who we wanted to work with. Every time that we met leading up to the birth helped us feel better and better and her calm and supportive demeanor helped me through both smooth and stressful moments in the pregnancy. Having Kristen as a part of our birthing team was such a grounding experience. Her presence put me at ease and helped me have exactly the kind of birth I had hoped for. Her gentle guidance, counter pressure, and encouragement were exactly what I needed to bring our daughter into the world. Her check ins throughout the pregnancy and postpartum were so appreciated that I miss regularly seeing her now and am always happy to hear from her when she asks how we are doing.  I would recommend working with Kristen to anyone who wants loving, steady presence throughout their birthing journey.

I am so grateful that I had Kristen at my birth! I had a complicated birth and having Kristen there was a true life saver! I have heard people say that a doula is worth their weight in gold, but never knew how true that was until now! Kristen is a truly calming, caring and attentive doula to have on your team. I would highly recommend Kristen to anyone in search of a doula.

When I found out I was pregnant with our second child, I knew I wanted a doula this time around. I wanted to be more prepared and informed when it time came to give birth and that’s exactly what Kristen helped me do. She met with me multiple times, answered all my questions, gave me books to read and most importantly made me feel confident in all my decisions. When it came time to give birth, my birth plan when out the window when my water broke two weeks early. Kristen not only helped with giving me peace about no longer having a plan but she helped me achieve my goals during labor. It wouldn’t have been possible without her!

I was so blessed to have Kristen be at my birth. She is incredible and everything you would hope for in a doula. She's calm and gentle and knows how to read the room. I had a lot of anxious thoughts through my pregnancy. She really helped me to work through these thoughts and trust my body every step of the way. I could feel the fear creeping in when my labor started but as soon as she arrived I instantly felt safe. Her presence is full of joy and it absolutely changed the atmosphere. She was so encouraging the entire time and it really makes a difference having this gentle cheerleader by your side who knows exactly what you want to get out of this very special experience. From making me chicken nuggets and helping me drink water to counter pressure and reminders that my body was made for this... It was everything to me and more. Her heart is in this and I can't imagine her not being at any of my future births! You will not regret hiring Kristen!

 I have had the pleasure of Kristen along side me at two of my daughters births. Kristen was so helpful before, during, and after birth. I never needed to ask her to do anything for me, she just knew what I needed when I needed it.  She was such a support to me and my husdand.  I could have not imagined my births at home without her there. She brought a peace and calmness to the room that made all the difference. I could not rave about her enough!
