When my wife first brought up hiring a Doula, I didn't think it was necessary.  But after attending a birth class, I quickly realized that there is a lot more to birthing a child than I thought.  It made more sense to me than ever to have an advocate and Coach for not only my wife, but for me as well during the intense experience of birth. My wife was able to have a unique level of peace as we walked into the hospital while in TRANSITION because we had Kali on our side.  Knowing that Kali was ready to help my wife stick to her birth plan gave her confidence and peace which was crucial in allowing her to relax and feel safe. When we arrived at the hospital, the midwife informed us that my wife was dilated to 9 1/2 cm and told us the station of the baby. Kali was able to instruct my wife which positions to labor in to help the baby to move down given that information. Within the first 2 minutes of following this coaching, my wife's water broke and labor continued to progress. Throughout labor, Kali was a constant positive energy, keeping my wife going with encouragement.  We're incredibly grateful to have had Kali along side us in this first birth experience!

My husband Zach and I are so thankful for Kali. She helped us to prepare and plan in advance of the birth of our first child, providing valuable resources and guidance on an unknown journey. When I unexpectedly needed to be induced, her recommendations allowed the induction process to go smoothly and simulate a natural birth as closely as possible. Despite an intense labor with prolonged pushing, Kali’s calming presence, coaching, and hands-on techniques helped me accomplish an unmedicated birth as planned despite the induction. I’m immensely grateful Kali was our doula, I couldn’t have done it without her.

I decided to reach out for a doula after I found out I was pregnant with my 2nd child. My first birth was a bit tramatic for my husband and I. We both felt some extra support could benefit both of us. Let me tell you, it was the best decision we did! Kali was our doula during our pregnancy and she was PHENOMENAL. As soon as I did an inquiry, she met with me and answered all of my questions. She continued to follow up with me as the weeks progressed. She met with my husband and I and made sure we felt comfortable and all of our questions were answered before our time was complete. Kali sent me follow up emails and exercises that would benefit me as I was getting closer to welcoming our little one earth side. When the time came to go to the hospital, Kali was texting me throughout the process checking in, making sure my questions were answered and preparing me for the absolute best. when I needed her in person, she was there. She stayed with my husband and I until we were comfortable with her leaving. She was so supportive and encouraging when I was at my weakest points, she gave great advice, advocated for me when I was too weak, and was so supportive not only to me, but to my husband as well. Kali has a gift as to what she does. She definitely is called to do what she does. She is so empowering and there is no doubt I will be having her when the time comes for our family to grow in size again. Forever thankful for my experience with Kali.

My husband and I decided we wanted a doula present at the birth of our first child when I was already well into my third trimester of pregnancy. Kali took time to sit with us, learn about our birth preferences, and help us prepare mentally, physically, and spiritually for birth. During the actual labor and delivery, Kali was the calm, steady presence that we needed. When labor seemed to stall and the hospital team suggested more invasive interventions, Kali was our advocate. She helped us process the decision by gently reminding us of the birth preferences we had initially shared with her. In that moment, I felt freedom to change my mind with no judgment, but more importantly, I felt empowered to keep pressing on and laboring naturally. She was by my side through the night until we welcomed our baby girl the next morning. My husband reflected after the birth, “I’m really glad Kali was there. It would have been a lot harder and more stressful if it was just me. I’m really grateful for her support.” I am so grateful to Kali for helping make the natural birth we had hoped and prayed for possible. I feel strongly that every woman would benefit from having a doula during her birth experience, and I can’t recommend Kali highly enough!

We are so grateful for Kali's presence at the birth of our daughter. Her encouragement, prayers, and calm presence helped my husband and I stay at peace throughout the birthing process. We were looking for a doula who would reverence the sacredness of birth between husband and wife, and Kali did just that. It was incredibly helpful to have another person walking with us.

We were especially grateful for Kali's accompaniment when labor didn't go as planned and we transferred to the hospital. She helped us make informed decisions when it felt like things were changing rapidly and we hadn't imagined this particular birthing scenario. We were so glad that we had Kali by our side!

The best decision I made as a first time mom was to work with Kelly! Kelly offered great support, and helped me through all the unknowns throughout my pregnancy. She guided my husband and I in creating our birth preferences, she was there to answer any questions we had and offered amazing resources that allowed us to make informative decisions for both me and our baby. I will never forget the overwhelming feeling of relief and encouragement Kelly provided as soon as she arrived at the hospital when I was in labor. My husband and I both felt supported and Kelly was great at guiding us through labor and delivery. I truly believe that without Kelly’s support I would not have had such a positive and special experience. I am so glad she was there to share the best moment of our life with us!

Kali is an outstanding doula. She wasn't just present at the birth but she also met with my husband and I beforehand. I felt so free to ask her whatever questions/fears were on my mind and she would help process and provide such useful information! I knew I wanted to have a "coach-like" figure with me during birth but also felt nervous about inviting someone into such a vulnerable and sacred time. Kali has such a peaceful but empowering presence that was exactly what I needed during my labor. Both my husband and I were so grateful to have her with us, having her at the birth of our daughter only added to the beauty!

Having Kali walk alongside us through pregnancy, labor & delivery, and postpartum was such a gift to both myself and my husband. While meeting with us throughout pregnancy, she carefully listened to what our hopes were for our birth and saw that they happened when it came time to deliver. She provided necessary physical support as labor progressed, and offered helpful guidance on positioning and comfort measures. Most importantly though, Kali seamlessly wove into our experience in a way that made us feel completely comfortable sharing in a very intimate day. So, so very thankful for Kali and Vine and Co. Doulas!!!

We found Kali on Doula Match and I immediately gravitated towards her because of her athletic background. I didn’t end up finding her until I was later in my 3rd trimester, but she made it work! We were able to work in both of our prenatal appointments and made a birth plan that we all felt comfortable with before our baby arrived at 38 weeks. Kali is so personable and timely with her responses. She is extremely knowledgeable and professional and I’m so thankful we decided to hire her for the birth of our first baby!

 If you are wondering if you should hire a doula, I’m here to say that you should do it! My husband and I were going back and forth on whether or not to hire a doula. After everything was said and done we are so incredibly glad we did.

 Kelly from Vine&Co doubled as my best friend and also professional doula. She was amazing. Kelly is extremely knowledgeable on all things Pre/Postnatal. She spent multiple hours talking through our wishes and preparing my husband and I for what to expect. She was our advocate at the hospital and respected all of our birth preferences. Kelly also did a home visit to follow up after birth. It was so special to be able to talk about, and reminisce on the birth of our first baby. She cares deeply about labor and delivery being an empowering experience and a special time for BOTH my husband and I. We felt well equipped and well cared for throughout the entire time she worked with us! I cannot recommend Vine&Co enough.

I hired Kelly from Vine & Co to be the doula for my third birth, and I'm so glad I did! She helped me mentally prepare for and achieve my goal of an unmedicated birth, but I love that she was supportive of any type of birth that I desired. She helped me write a much more informed birth plan than I had with my previous births. She also has a nursing background so I really appreciate her expertise when talking about different drugs or protocols in the delivery room. She also just has the most gentle bedside manner than you need in a doula.

My only regret is not hiring her for my first two births. If you are considering her for a doula, the investment will be SO worth it, especially if you are a first-time mom!

Hire a doula!!!! This was my first pregnancy and I didn’t know what to expect. My husband and I were a little hesitant at first about the extra cost, but we are now SOOOOO thankful we hired Kelly to be a part of our journey, one of the best decisions I made during my pregnancy! It was worth every penny!!! 

Kelly was very attentive to every little detail and so intentional throughout my whole pregnancy and delivery. 
Before giving birth, Kelly gave me evidence-based information about labor and delivery so that I could make decisions that were right for me and my baby boy. 

She made us feel empowered and helped support and educate BOTH my husband and I through the entire process in pre-labor, labor and postpartum. During our labor, Kelly’s ability to help me regulate, focus on my breathing, and remain calm helped my body to relax and bring my son into the world safely. Her hands-on expertise with techniques such as counter pressure, massage, and recommendations for positioning also helped me feel physically more comfortable without need for additional medical intervention, which was my hopes for delivery. Kelly’s nursing background also gave me the extra peace of mind that I was in good hands! She understood all the medical lingo and was able to explain to me what was going on in the delivery room. I felt well taken care of by Kelly.

We cannot say enough nice things about our experience with her. As my husband said- “we will never do another birth without Kelly!” and we wholeheartedly meant it! Thank you, Kelly!!

I can't imagine my birth without Paige there! She was my go-to during pregnancy and was willing to walk me through any questions or fears I had. During labor, she was knowledgable of and hands on with helpful birthing positions, was so encouraging, and helped advocate for my birth plan! After baby came, her caring support and experience as a pediatric nurse and mom herself was priceless in the immediate care of baby and breastfeeding as a first time mom. Highly recommend vine & co, these ladies are amazing!!
