I am a member of the Calgary Doula Association. I have a PhD in Sociology from the University of Leeds (UK) and work as an Assistant Professor at the University of Calgary (Department of Community Health Sciences). My current related research includes a study of Midwifery care in Alberta, and a project on birth, parenting, and mental health.
