I can confidently say that my journey through childbirth would not have been the same without Carolyn by my side. From the moment I met Carolyn, her dedication to evidence-based research and her profound understanding of the birthing process were evident. Her knowledge became a guiding light that empowered me to make informed decisions throughout my pregnancy and labor.

Carolyn's support went beyond just sharing information; she truly personalized her care to fit my needs. Her ability to communicate effectively, using methods that resonated deeply with me, made all the difference in achieving my goal of a positive birth experience. She listened attentively to my concerns, hopes, and fears, ensuring that every step of the way I felt heard and supported.

During labor, Carolyn's presence was a source of strength and comfort. She knew exactly when to offer encouragement, when to provide gentle reassurance, and when to step back and allow me space to navigate the intensity of childbirth. Her calm demeanor and unwavering support gave me the confidence to trust my body and embrace the birthing process with courage.

Looking back, I realize that Carolyn did more than assist me through childbirth; she fundamentally changed my life. Her guidance helped me tap into a reservoir of inner strength I didn't know I had, and her belief in me helped me become the woman I always knew I was, but had not yet met.

Carolyn Parrish is not just a doula; she is a beacon of knowledge, compassion, and empowerment for mothers-to-be. I am deeply grateful for her role in my journey and can wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone seeking a supportive and knowledgeable companion for their childbirth experience.

Thank you, Carolyn, for everything you have done for me and for helping me bring my child into the world with strength and dignity. Madison, Nick, and I are so lucky to know you!

I honestly can't say enough to express my gratitude and appreciation for Carolyn. I have always dreamed of a vaginal birth after having had a CS back in 2020. My daughter was breech and was stubborn enough to stay put! I knew once I found out I was pregnant with my son, I wanted to try everything I could for a VBAC. One of the biggest recommendations was hiring a doula. I had never heard of a Doula, and genuinely had 0 idea where to start. I posted on a Facebook group and was flooded with comments and recs. I ended up interviewing 4 Doulas and as soon as I connected with Carolyn, I knew she was who I wanted to go on this journey with. She had 3 appointments with me during the course of my pregnancy, and each one absolutely prepared me in being successful. Fast forward to having to be induced (which I really didn't want) and being terrified of the risks intervention after intervention could have on a VBAC patient. She was an ear to listen and a (literal) shoulder to cry on. She encouraged me to lean in to all my emotions and feelings, and man was that a game changer. I went into my induction confident that I would do everything I could in my power for my VBAC, and whatever the outcome, I put forth the effort. After 24 hrs of labor, many many encouraging words, music, essential oils, lighting and multiple positions (the best) later... I welcomed my precious son into the world via VBAC. I honestly couldn't have done it without Carolyn. She is forever a friend and I'm thankful for our time together during the most vulnerable time of my life.

I don't know how I would have survived my labor without Carolyn! She was the calm in the storm of labor. She kept me grounded, calm, centered, focused on my goal, and maintained my birth plan to a T! I would recommend her to anyone and everyone having a baby! She will 100,000% be at my next birth. I'm so beyond greatful for her!

She was also patient and very attentive. Anytime I needed her (even during my pregnancy) she responded to my texts quickly and picked up my phone calls in a heartbeat. She also showed up ASAP when I needed her... even before I was in active labor she showed up to be a support person for me. I can't recommend her enough!

Carolyn was so wonderful for my entire birth experience. She was a calm and reassuring presence throughout my labor. And was firm as "mean doula" when I needed her to be. My labor was longer than expected, but she was there every step of the way. Even sleeping on my couch to be there during the late night hours to offer her support while we waited it out. I had awful back labor, but the counter pressure she provided, helped so much with the pain. When we discovered that my baby was turned the wrong way, she put me in positions to help baby get into the correct one. She even washed my dishes, brewed my herbal sitzbath, and made delicious lactation energy balls for home to snack on after! I loved having her to go to with any questions throughout my pregnancy and postpartum. Doulas are magic, y'all. And I cannot recommend Carolyn enough.

From the first time I met Carolyn, I felt comfortable with her and knew that she would be a great addition to one of the most important days of my life. She reached out often during my pregnancy and provided wonderful resources! Once labor started and she joined us, she had great position change suggestions, offered pain relief options, kept my husband involved in my care, and was just an overall blessing to me while I labored. 
I loved Carolyn's support and know that my birthing experience would not have been the same without her!!

Carolyn is that special combination of thoughtful, curious, loving, supportive, and empathetic. She guided me through pregnancy's bodily changes in a way that connected them to the larger transition to motherhood of which they are a part. She facilitated better communication with my partner about that change. She helped not just my body, but my soul embrace motherhood.

I cannot recommend Carolyn highly enough or to enough women. Her skill as a physical, emotional, and spiritual guide is unique and hugely beneficial. The only thing I would change with my next pregnancy would be contacting Carolyn sooner!!

Working with Carolyn as our birth doula was an amazing experience! I highly recommend her services. She was well educated, informed on all birthing questions I had and was a big comfort. My husband and I both felt really connected with her, and she valued our birth plan. She was my advocate and a huge help in the delivery room.

Through this experience, Carolyn went from a doula to becoming our friend, and now as a new mom, I can still connect with her to ask questions. Carolyn was a great doula, and I plan on having her by my side for our next child!
