I cannot recommend Jen highly enough as a postpartum doula! From the moment she started working with us just two days after we brought our son home, her support has been invaluable. For the first two months, she visited us twice a week, and then once a week for the following months. As a first-time mom, I quickly realized that while I had taken all the recommended classes, they didn’t fully prepare me for the real-world challenges of motherhood.

One of the biggest hurdles I faced was breastfeeding. Despite my determination to breastfeed, my son struggled to latch once we left the hospital. Jen was truly a lifesaver during this time. She guided me through using my breast pump and provided essential latching techniques that got us back on track. Her expertise and understanding made a world of difference!

What stands out the most about Jen is her exceptional communication. She made it clear that I could reach out to her anytime with questions, no matter how trivial they may have seemed. She always responded promptly and graciously, which helped ease my anxiety as a new mom.

Beyond being a phenomenal doula, Jen has become a cherished part of our family. The bond she has formed with our son is heartwarming, and we will genuinely miss her presence in our home. Thank you, Jenn, for everything you’ve done for us! We are so grateful for your support during this special time in our lives.

Having Jen's help was the best thing we could have done postpartum! A new baby is a big change and having an expert in the house who we could trust with our little one brought much needed calm (and sleep!)! Within 5 minutes of meeting her we knew she had a magic touch with babies. Our son absoutely loved her and we were able to learn so much!

Ive met Jennifer since my baby girl was a month old. I needed to run out and do some errands with the thought that shes going to cry her head out and be so fussy when I come back. Yet, Jennifer was able to put her to sleep, washed all my pump parts and even played with my dog. Mind blown! Ever since I have always asked for her whenever I need someone to watch my girl.

Jen was incredible. Very kind, knowledgeable and professional. She gave us so many useful tips to help our little guy sleep longer through the night. She was a pleasure to work with, and look forward to continuing to work with her in the future. Could not recommend her as a postpartum doula enough!

Jen was a huge help to me, my husband and our whole family when we welcomed our 4th child in June! She allowed us to get worry free sleep when we needed it most and helped provide helpful tips for nursing, soothing baby, swaddling, etc.  We were able to enjoy the newborn phase and still have energy to manage the baby and our 3 other children during a busy summer. After 12 weeks, our baby was already sleeping 7-8 hour stretches and we couldn't have gotten there as seamlessly without Jen's help!

Jen was fantastic! She asked the right questions before she arrived and came fully prepared with a bunch of tricks to help soothe our uncomfortable baby. She was very understanding and thoughtful and was able to give us the support we wanted and some much-needed rest. She left detailed notes to help us follow up and answered questions even after she left. Highly recommend!

We worked with Jen for overnight support for both of our children (born March 2022 and March 2024) and would absolutely recommend her services! She is very professional and clearly experienced and we felt very comfortable leaving our children in her care overnight so we could get some sleep. She had great advice and guidance for how to deal with some newborn issues (gassiness, etc.) that was useful. She also was very helpful in cleaning the babies clothes, bottles and pump parts. She was also great with our excitable dog, which was a plus!

Jen was our overnight doula for around 11 weeks after our second child was born. She was an absolute pleasure to work with. Jen is calm and confident and was always respectful of my wishes and preferences. I could tell how much she cared about supporting our family. She learned our baby’s cues quickly and enabled us to get so much more sleep than I ever thought was possible with a newborn. I can’t imagine transitioning from one to two kids without Jen’s help. I highly highly recommend her!

Jen provided occasional overnight care for our baby when she was ~1.5-3 months old. We found Jen to be timely, communicative, responsible, and reliable. She provided great care to our daughter, which allowed us to get some much needed and worry-free rest! We also really appreciated her knowledge of baby products, such as strollers and pack 'n plays and her help figuring out some bottle-related feeding challenges. Lastly, Jen was easy to talk to and never judgmental, both of which are really important qualities in a postpartum doula. We would definitely recommend her!

My family was fortunate to have Jen as our doula for our 4 month old. She's VERY attentive, goes above and beyond and pays attention to small details. It was truly a pleasure having her and we strongly will recommend her to any of our family or friends.

She's a Doulas Doula!

Can't recommend Jennifer enough! Three things stand out to me as a first time mom who read all the books and watched all the prep videos:
1. Got more sleep
2. Built a routine faster
3. Less stress because I has answers to any unknown unknowns that I couldn’t anticipate
These three items are how I would summarize my entire postpartum experience so far now that I am just hitting 15 weeks. Jennifer helped with all of these three items and I am confident that without her I would be in a completely different place right now. Likely sleep deprived and a less confident person in this new life role. In my experience, having a coach who goes above and beyond to make sure everything in my house stays in order while I'm focused on recovering from a C-section, building back my health (from postpartum Preclamsia), and feeding/caring for my newborn; is the most worthwhile choice I could have made! My two things I would now recommend to anyone having a baby soon? Get on Jennifer's calendar and also look into the at-home pediatrician, so the first two months you can focus on recovery without paining yourself to get to/from the hospital. I used TOVA Health and they were amazing and covered by insurance.

We really enjoyed having Jennifer help us out! We needed someone who was confident and experienced and she was both! I shared with her that our baby was having a hard time with taking a bottle and that I was nervous about her giving it to him. She responded with "I've never had a baby not take a bottle from me" and it was true! This confidence really helped ease my worries. She also introduced a new swaddle that our baby loved for months. We owe her so much for our extra hours of sleep:) thank you!

Jen was a truly wonderful sitter for our 8-month old baby while we visited Boston for work. She is clearly very experienced, professional, calm, and warm - we felt at ease right after meeting with her. We could not be happier to recommend her! Thank you Jen and wishing you all the best.

Jen was absolutely fantastic with us. Having night support that we could count on in our babies first months was really important to us. Jen was someone we trusted to care for our infant and was able to provide us with the confidence that we needed sleep well at night. On top of that, Jen was also able to provide support to us, answer our questions, and generally be a great resource for us first time parents.

Jen was a lifesaver for the nighttime care of our newborn grandson when my daughter needed to be readmitted to the hospital for a week following her delivery. Jen was friendly, warm, responsible, knowledgeable and compassionate. She recommended a formula change (switching to enfamil gentlease) which was exceedingly helpful in eliminating our grandson's gastric distress. She brought us different nipples to try, taught us how to swaddle, and kept notes on how each night went that she shared with us in the morning. She communicated us via text during the day to see how we were doing and was very responsive to questions we asked.  We felt very supported and taken care of by her.  We felt entirely comfortable having her in our home and taking care of our precious newborn grandson.  We would hire her again in a heartbeat. Thank you, Jen!

Jen worked with my family in the summer of 2023 a couple of nights a week for the first 3 months of my baby's life. Jen has a very calming pressence and adjusted herself easily to our family. She did an amazing job both caring for our baby as well as for us. One thing that I really appreciated in her, and is so important for sleep deprived young parents, is that she really wanted to optimize for us getting rest and kept our nightly conversations brief (if we initiated them) while she was open to checking in during the day if we had any questions. She was reliable and punctual.

I am so glade we found Jennifer to help with our baby during the night. She was very professional, kind and understanding. I always looked forward to the nights she would come. I felt comfortable leaving my little one in her care so I could get the sleep I much needed. She is also very good with responding to questions/concerns right away. I would recommend her to anyone who has just had a baby and is looking to get some sleep!

We had a great experience with Jen. She took excellent care of our newborn for about two months. Our daughter had some GI issues so Jen had a couple of techniques to make her more comfortable which was also helpful. She was also reliable and always on time!

Working with Jen as my postpartum doula was an amazing experience. My baby is quite needy I have to say and started to recognize people when Jen came, but Jen was able to clam and soothe our baby immediately. I appreciate Jen always planned things ahead and set up a comfortable environment that would help baby rest. She even brought all the helpful stuffs with her, like white noise machine, baby carrier and her own stroller etc. Jen also kept logs on baby's activities time and sleeping time. We felt comfortable leaving the baby alone with her and letting her take the baby out of house for walking and playing in the park. My baby was happy and calm with Jen, which is the most important thing to me. We wish we could find Jen earlier and we highly recommend her to others for doula support!

We had the great priviledge of working with Jennifer Dennis nearly every night from when we came home from the hospital until our twins were 11 weeks old, and I would recommend her to families seeking infant overnight care without reservation.  I consider Jen a twin infant whisperer - she handled the nights with our two babies seamlessly.  A few wonderful things about Jen that helped me rest easy: She is an excellent communicator - both in written form (with nighttime reports of feeding timing/diapering/bouts of fussiness and potential causes) and verbally (we'd debrief about the day when she arrived and then about the night briefly before she left).  She is highly knowledgable about infants, and offered helpful suggestions when we came to her with questions about the babies.  She also gave us a ton of suggestions for how to survive the nights on our own without her.  She was extremely respectful of our parenting style and wishes. She really got to know the each baby as an individual and could speak to their specific soothing preferences and feeding habits. Above all, I felt she truly cared for them - this is a calling and passion for her, not 'just a job'. Speaking as a mom to a toddler and twin infants, Jen was my reliable lifeline to sanity - instead of white knuckling those early days in overwhelm-sleep-deprivation-survival-mode, I could rest at night.  This sped my physical recovery from birth, supported my ability to exclusively breast-feed twin infants, and allowed me to be a more present and emotionally regulated parent for my toddler during the day through this big life transition.

All I can say is thank goodness for Jen! Our third child had severe GERD and sleep was at a minimum before Jen entered our lives. Jen is kind, loving and great at settling colicky babies. She worked with me to be able to get restorative sleep and continuing breastfeeding thru the night while my husband and I transitioned back to working full time. I highly recommend Jen!

Jen was great! Professional and respect in the home. She was eager to help with all newborn things, bottles, etc - and while providing knowledge on breastfeeding and pumping. Jen was so helpful and we'd have her again if another babe comes along! Thanks, Jen!

Jen was incredibly helpful for my wife and I. As first time parents, we not only used her with getting more sleep (overnight), but also went to her as a trusted advisor for any questions we had. She's incredibly reliable, never late, and extremely amenable. She flexed to support us in any way.

With her support, we actually learned that our newborn could sleep longer than we expected! If we expand our family, Jen will be called!

Jenny is an excellent doula and we had a great working relationship while she was contracted to take care of my baby at nights. She was prompt, often early, and took good notes about what happened during the night. She listened to what I wanted and how I liked things to be done and applied them to her shifts with me. She is very experienced with babies and my baby did very well with her. Jenny is super easy to talk to and she was open to me asking her questions about anything. I would text her every now and then to ask about tips on handling the baby (even though it was my third baby, still need help!) and she was always helpful and full of suggestions on what to try. I have a new favorite hand cream thanks to Jenny (tubby Todd all over ointment) and I use it neary every day! She works tirelessly and will do everything to her utmost to give any tired mama a good night's rest. When Jenny came over, I knew I could sleep knowing the baby was taken care of. I would highly recommend Jenny for postpartum doula services.
