Jessica was truly an angel during my natural water birth. As a first-time mom, I honestly don’t think I could have gotten through labor as smoothly or confidently without her. She supported me emotionally, mentally, and physically every step of the way, and her calm, grounded presence made all the difference.

From the weeks leading up to labor, Jessica was incredibly present—checking in on us, coming to our home, and making sure we felt prepared and supported. Nothing ever felt rushed or transactional; she genuinely cared about us as a family.

During labor, she arrived early and stayed fully engaged the entire time. She knew exactly how to support me through each phase, helping me manage pain effectively while staying focused and empowered. Her encouragement was constant and deeply reassuring.

My husband also felt fully supported, informed, and confident because of her—something that meant everything to us. Jessica’s care was emotional, physical, and spiritual, and unwavering from start to finish.

We wholeheartedly recommend Jessica to any family considering a doula. We are endlessly grateful for her role in bringing our baby into the world.

As a husband who had never been through childbirth before—and especially not a natural water birth—I can honestly say that having Jessica as our doula made all the difference.

From the very beginning, Jessica was incredibly knowledgeable about natural birth, water birth techniques, and best practices. But what truly set her apart was how present and responsive she was long before labor even began. She came to our home multiple times to check in on us, get to know us personally, and make sure we felt prepared and supported. She genuinely took the time to familiarize herself with us as a couple.

On the day of delivery, Jessica arrived early and immediately helped coach us, ground us, and get situated. She stayed with us the entire time, and not once did she show hesitation, fatigue, or frustration. She made it clear—through her actions—that we were her priority.

Most importantly, Jessica was incredibly helpful to my wife throughout the entire labor. She knew exactly how to support her physically and emotionally, and she was both calming and encouraging at every stage. Jessica clearly understood how to help my wife manage pain in the most effective way possible—minimizing discomfort while still allowing her to move forward through each phase of the birth. Her encouragement was constant and empowering, and it made a huge difference in my wife’s ability to stay focused, confident, and strong during such an intense process.

One thing Jessica said that truly won us over was, “At worst, I’ll be praying for you.” And she did exactly that—and so much more. Her support was emotional, physical, spiritual, and unwavering.

We wholeheartedly recommend Jessica to any family considering a natural birth. She exceeded every expectation, and we are deeply grateful for the role she played in bringing our child into the world.

Jessica Wilson did an amazing job being the birth doula for my wife. She had her hair down when she arrived, and once she put her hair up, it was all business. Jessica was so kind, compassionate, hard-working, and unbelievably encouraging throughout the entire process. She also helped us with the birth plan, she had great ideas, and was an excellent photographer in the hospital as well. We highly recommend Jessica Wilson 1000% for your doula services!!

I cannot recommend Jessica enough! I am a first time mom, writing this 4 weeks postpartum. Honestly, I was originally torn on whether or not I needed to get a doula. But wow, I am so happy that we had Jessica with us for labor and delivery!

Jessica was supportive of my goals for a natural, unmedicated birth. My labor was long and Jessica really helped me with what positions to do and was very encouraging throughout. She also sought to understand my husband’s goals for birth and empowered him to coach me throughout labor. It was great to meet with her before birth and then again after I delivered to debrief about the experience.

I delivered at a hospital but beforehand I was nervous on whether they would push for unnecessary medical intervention. I like that Jessica also had experience with home births and birth center births. Because I had such a great team (Jessica and my husband) coaching me, I feel like the nurses and hospital staff trusted us to go through labor without getting too involved. When decisions about my care came up, Jessica talked with my husband and I to ensure we understood the options and reminded us of our goals. Again, labor was very tough and exhausting. I honestly feel like I would not have been able to meet my goals if it wasn’t for Jessica. She has more of a gentle and steady persona so if you want someone that is more like a military sergeant/coach, Jessica is probably not your girl. She was assertive when she needed to be but for the most part, I really appreciated her calm and reassuring demeanor during labor.

I truly was thanking God for Jessica after delivering my first daughter and I am eternally grateful to her for her support. I will remember her forever as a beautiful part of the birth story. Hire her! You will not regret it!

We hired Jessica to be our doula and both my husband and I can't imagine what our experience would have been like without her. She provided reassurance and calm to my husband and was hands on in helping me find positions I could labor in and demonstrated a lot of endurance and strength in supporting me. She is an excellent communicator, nurturing presence, and fantastic under the pressures and intensity of labor. 100% recommend Jessica!!

I am a first time mom, and gave birth at a birthing center with Jessica Wilson as my Doula. I highly reccomend  working with Jessica! She brought a calm, peaceful, strong, and supportive presence to my birth. She listened well to me, and responded to what I needed to make sure we followed my birth plan. She also provided massage and counter pressure exactly where I needed it to help me rest between contractions. 

My partner and I were both blown away by how easily Jessica is able to be present at the pace I needed. We discussed my preferences for birth ahead of time, and she was skilled at honoring my desire to have a quiet birth environment without unneccesary talking. The words she chose were what I needed to hear and supported my partner and I well.

Jessica is also very responsive and kind over text and phone. It was also so wonderful to have Jessica to text as a first time mom, in the lead up to the birth, as I experienced body changes and wondered about when labor would start.

Having Jessica at my delivery was an unexpected blessing! My baby came 4 weeks early &  my mom couldn't attend as planned,  so Jessica volunteered to help me instead.  She showed up for me with no qualms or delays. She came with a blanket of calmness & support that did not compromise her efficiency in the slightest. It being my first delivery,  I needed someone to let me know that it was alright to do things differently than what the nurses were saying,  or to help me understand the pros and cons of certain choices I was being asked to make (epidural, for instance). Jessica's clear & unbiased answers are much appreciated in a time when making decisions is already fraught. She helped me turn as needed, massaged me to help ease my pains, held my hand through it all and even cut the cord! She was even waiting to help me after an emergency surgery to remove my retained placenta. She only left once she was satisfied that my LO & i were settled in with no issues and comfortable.

As I said at the beginning, Jessica's presence was an unexpected but much appreciated blessing at my delivery!

We met Jessica when my baby is a newborn. I liked her at the first instance but my fondness grew with time. She took good care of my baby and soothed him well. My baby was so comfy with her. Jessica never sits idle when working. She even made me healthy snacks. I would definitely recommend Jessica for any new mother
