I would definitely recommend Melissa!  She was excellent with my fussy little 4 month old.  She came as a night doula for us so I could go on a much needed and long planned girls trip.  It was the first time I had left my baby for more than 2 hours and she was able to get her to take her bottle and sleep happily in the bassinet!  Both things that we could barely get her to do on our own.  She was professional and reassuring through all the communication I had with her.  I would not hesitate to call on her again!

I truly cannot say enough good things about Melissa. I experienced postpartum depression with my first child, so when I found out I was pregnant a second time, my husband and I knew we wanted to set up a support network ahead of our son's birth. The first thing we did - and without question the best thing we did - was hire Melissa. Melissa's work with our family - as a postpartum doula and sleep consultant  - was the single most important thing we did for our family in the three months that she spent with us following our son's birth. She was patient, flexible, and incredibly knowledgable. She stayed with our son overnight so we were able to get the sleep we desperately needed, and gently sleep trained him when he was ready. She made the often challenging "fourth trimester" one that we were able to enjoy with both our children and each other. We will forever be grateful for her, and cannot recommend her enough.

Melissa was a wonderful support system when our twins came home from the hospital. She had great advice for sleep, swaddling, feeding and more. My twins slept and ate well every night Melissa watched them and I slept well knowing Melissa was watching the babies! She was thorough with her feedback, provided suggestions and was always willing to provide extra assistance and guidance.

My family worked with Melissa on a few separate occassions and we had a great experince with her and feel comfortable recommending her services to anyone needing overnight assistance with an infant. My baby was colicky and subsequently I was very worried about leaving her with anyone but at the same time, I despertely needed sleep. I hired Melissa when I went back to work when Chloe was 4.5 months old. She helped us establish a better night time routine with her. She was kind, on time, thorough and a great communicator throughout our month with her. She has also helped us out with overnight care a few more times since then when my husband and I were out of town. She communicated with my nanny and sister in laws with ease. I am happy to recommend Melissa and availble as a reference if needed.

I used Melissa as a night nurse for about 3 months after having my first baby. She was so helpful to me and my husband. She showed us how to bathe our baby, gave us tips and tricks on pumping, talked to us about swaddles and sleep schedules, and reassured us that we were doing a good job the whole time.

We appreciated her professionalism and health protocols - masking and washing her hands upon arrival. I felt completely comfortable sleeping through the night with Melissa watching our newborn and it was an enormous help in the first few months.
