My experience with Kateri was without doubt a gift and pleasure! I knew that I needed much more emotional support than anything when preparing for my labor with my now 1 year old son. She filled that gap that I might have had with a mother or a very close sister. She met with me virtually but was always available by text or phone call or video call. She was also a strong support to my husband when at times he was unsure of what to do or what was about to be experienced.  She prayed rosaries with me during labor and was there in a spiritual way and was supportive to handle conflict with hospital staff.  She made me feel less scared, confident and reassured during the whole season of pregnancy and postpartum. You won't be disappointed if you decide to choose Kateri to be your doula for your pregnancy journey.

It was a joy to work with Kateri and come away with not only a beautiful birthing experience but also a new friend. She is a well-informed, focused, joyful, yet peaceful doula - not to mention an incredible woman. She's intentional about getting to know you beforehand and your vision for your birth. She ensures you feel empowered in your decisions and can give wonderful insight from her past experiences. 

She's knowledgeable in positions that really kept my labor moving. She kept me distracted with conversation and prayed with me when requested. When I was in the throes of transition she was able to reground me and get me through the toughest part. I can't imagine my labor without her.

Kateri is a wonderful doula! She made me feel at peace and comfortable during many hours of labor. She is dependable and competent. I appreciated her warmth, kindness, and willingness to serve in whatever way I needed. I felt very encouraged by her words of affirmation. It was also nice to have her check in weekly to see how I was doing. She gave me some great tips and I could tell she really wanted me to have the best labor/birth experience possible. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring doula!

Kateri made me feel at ease at every stage of the process. I was anxious leading up to the birth of my twins, and having Kateri as my doula made a world of difference. When my scheduled induction for a vaginal birth suddenly became a c-section, Kateri kept me calm while asking the OB questions on my behalf that I would not have even thought of. When the c-section (was successful and safe but) had an unexpected complication, Kateri was a listening ear to help me process my emotions. And really, I think that's the essence of what a doula is for: taking what can be a chaotic and emotional situation and making it peaceful and manageable. Kateri is someone who clearly has genuine concern for women, and a warm, calm spirit. I can't recommend her enough!

Kateri was an answer to our prayers! She was so helpful throughout all stages of our pregnancy! From our initial meeting, to our house visit, to our 20 hour labor in the hospital, to our follow-ups, she has been thorough, thoughtful, and knowledgeable. She was such an advocate for us, and my husband and I cannot recommend her enough!!
