Lauren is so genuinely kind. Not only that, but she's super knowledgeable and resourceful. She helped talk me through different scenarios (both health-related and relational) and was down to earth and rational when she needed to be, and also vulnerable and empathetic when I needed it. She is caring and respectful and helpful and thoughtful... I could list a million different descriptors. Lol but she truly was such a help to me and my husband. She helped validate things that my husband didn't really understand from his perspective. She was a wealth of knowledge and encouragement prior to birth.
That's not even to mention how wonderful she was during labor! We had a home birth, so there were very few things I needed advocating for. But there was definitely a gap between what I needed and what the midwives provided. That was probably my biggest question going into it: "what can a doula give me that a midwife won't?" There are many things. She was encouraging in the moments I needed encouragement, she had a cute fan handy that I remember loving even 10 months PP lol, she made me an electrolyte drink that I hated in the moment but find myself craving constantly, she encouraged me to eat (pretty long labor and was throwing up everything, including water)... it all sounds a bit silly now, but she was my sidekick and truly an amazing one. So grateful to have had her for my first birth!

I’m not sure I can say enough positive things about Lauren. After an emergency c-section with my first, I knew I wanted a doula for my second pregnancy and the second we met, I knew she was going to be great! Lauren is so knowledgeable, so kind.. and truly made my entire birth experience unbelievable. My husband said “Honestly didn’t know what a soul was and why we needed one, but now I get it. Lauren supported my wife in ways I couldn’t and I’ll be forever grateful for her as a part of the birth of our second little girl.” If you’re looking for a sign, this is it.. hire her now!

Hiring Lauren was one of the best decisions I made during my pregnancy. I had a big goal of achieving an unmedicated VBAC. I am thrilled to have been able to achieve that along with all of my goals laid out in my birth plan! Lauren was so encouraging and a good advocate for me during my labor and delivery experience. Most of all, she was so helpful in giving me the tools and information I needed to make important decisions and create a birth plan during my pregnancy. Any time I had a question about something or was unsure of what I wanted to include in my birth plan, she was quick to send me articles and websites to help me make my decision. She was always very supportive of our wishes and goals and helped us achieve them. I also appreciated how organized and reliable she is. She always responded to my emails, text messages, and phone calls quickly. She was always on time for our home visits and provided us with a folder that contained organized and helpful information. I appreciate that she was willing to meet us at our house so I could labor at home until I was ready to head to the hospital. I have zero complaints, and I am so grateful that God gave her the passion of becoming a doula. She is so good at what she does and I know so many women, including myself, have benefited from her.

As I was gearing up for the arrival of my second baby, I was planning a home birth after a c-section with my first. I knew I wanted a birth team that made me feel safe, supported, and encouraged me in the process. When it came to a doula, I wanted someone that I knew could speak Biblical truth over me and trusted God’s design for birth. To say Lauren was all that and more would be an understatement! From our first meeting, she was so personable and felt like a friend already. She helped me prepare physically and mentally for my birth with her extensive knowledge and experience, just incredible!
When it came to my birth, she came probably earlier than she needed to be here, just to make sure I was comfortable and progressing and being so supportive. She was quick to encourage me when I needed it and help provide solutions when discomfort arose. She even helped with counter pressure on my back for probably at least 3 hours straight and I just know her poor arms were so sore. But she kept it up with a smile on her face. She continued to check in for weeks after our son was born and we thoroughly enjoyed our postpartum visit with her, just chatting about the birth and getting to know her more.
I couldn’t imagine my birth experience without her and would give her 100 stars if I could! Anyone would be blessed to work with Lauren on their birth team ????????????

Lauren was amazing. This was my second kid and we opted for a doula because we were trying for a vbac. Lauren was great prior to delivery and leading up to with information to help understand the process.
Lauren responded to my texts throughout the night with suggestions to get through moments and then she arrived timely to the hospital the next morning and stayed more than 12 hours with us (several hours post partum.. which was above and beyond what we agreed on/expected).
I felt heard and taken care of and even validated in some decisions I had to make. Both my husband and I walked away happy with Lauren and felt she was worth every penny!! Highly recommend.

We LOVED working with Lauren for the birth of our first child! As first time parents having Lauren on board was essential; she provides endless resources for prenatal, labor and postpartum stages of pregnancy. Inviting a doula into your birth is very intimate but in our experience critical for having a positive, peaceful and empowering birth. We will be forever grateful to Lauren and we hope to work with her again the future!

Lauren is amazing! I did not have a doula for the birth of my first child and it was a traumatic experience, so I thought I would try a doula for the birth of our second child. It was the best decision I made. Lauren is so easy to get along with and is so knowledgeable and professional! She was aware of my goals and supported them so beautifully! She said and did all the right things at the right times throughout my labor and delivery. She is a wonderful advocate and an encouraging presence. Because of Lauren’s knowledge, skills, and calming presence, I was able to achieve an unmedicated birth! Lauren always made herself available before, during, and after labor & delivery. If we are blessed with another child, we will definitely work with her again! Thank you, Lauren!

I can’t say enough about how amazing Lauren is. As first time parents she helped us navigate all the choices and decisions we could possibly have to make throughout pregnancy and labor and delivery. She is a wealth of knowledge and provides you with current research and data to make an informed decision. She 100% respects the decisions you and your partner make regarding your birth plan. We had our baby in the middle of a January snow storm and she was such a calm presence admist the chaos. She was available via phone from the start of my labor and answered all our questions as things progressed. When it came to labor and delivery, Lauren was amazing. It was such a calm environment during delivery. She worked beautifully with the nurse during labor and delivery and it was such a positive experience. Even the nurse commented later in the day how great it was working with Lauren! The two of them worked so well together and it was an experience that I look back at with such appreciation. She took great videos and photos during delivery and it was so precious to have! We will absolutely be asking Lauren to support us with our next baby. Highly highly recommend working with Lauren!

Lauren was such a gift to our family. From our first meeting, to the natural birth of our daughter, she made the experience so amazing. She eased so many worries, and was an integral part of our birth team. We cannot imagine what our experience during the birth would have been like without her there. If anyone is trying to determine if hiring Lauren is worth it, the answer is yes. As a father in this experience, she was unbelievably helpful during our 24 hour labor, allowing me opportunity to update family, eat, and take short, much needed breaks. Having the extra pair of hands and support was so important.

Lauren was so incredibly helpful to have on my birth team! My husband and I are first time parents and had so much to learn when it came to pregnancy and the birthing process. She gave us confidence through knowledge going into this life changing process, and we simply could not do it without her. My labor was a quick one, so much so that my own doctor did not make it to the birth. Lauren was the one who helped the young nurse deliver our baby and we could not have done it without her! She was truly the biggest blessing, and I would hire her all over again! Highly recommend.

Adding Lauren to my birth team was the best decision I could have made… I was taking classes for the Bradley Method, and while they helped me understand the process my body was about to go through, Lauren was instrumental in ensuring the labor and delivery process went as smoothly as possible. My hospital had a horrific administrative mix-up and had 3 charts open for me at once, and an L&D nurse who was sweet but could not readily identify my stages of labor (e.g., contractions, pushing) - Lauren took the reins with ease. I have very little memories of my L&D nurse’s involvement, but am well aware of the impact Lauren had - from coaching my husband to be involved in my unmedicated pain management, helping me get into different positions, and working with my husband to communicate with the nurses and doctors, to making the room more festive with peppermint scents and lights just so I could feel a bit more at ease (December baby). I’m so grateful for Lauren and highly recommend making her a part of your birth team!

Lauren was the BEST decision I made in my birth plan! I was hoping and planning for a VBAC and she was so instrumental in my success. She communicated so well with the rest of the care team at the hospital, took such great care of me, and was so knowledgeable. She came to me at the hospital directly after birthing with another mom in another hospital. And despite not having any sleep, she showed up and gave us 110%. We are forever grateful for her and I will recommend her a millions times over.

Lauren was the doula that aided in my redemptive, unmedicated VBAC. Her knowledge, compassion, and endurance are unmatched. From the moment I spoke with her on the phone, I knew I wanted her support at my birth! I’m so glad that I followed up and was able to rely on her in those testing moments. Lauren is a beautiful soul, incredible worker, and has a genuine connection to The Lord. If that’s something you’re looking for— call her. She was irreplaceable in my birth story and I’m grateful to call her a friend even afterwards.

My husband and I had the privilege of having Lauren support us during the birth of our son, and I couldn't be more grateful for her. Throughout the entire experience, she was so supportive and knowledgeable. Having her on our team gave me the ability to trust my instincts and be confident in my decisions. Her dedication and genuine care for her clients was so apparent throughout the whole process; I always looked forward to our conversations and was excited to have her with us on such a special day. Lauren was such a blessing to us, I can’t recommend her enough!

Lauren was such an asset to have on our birth team. She was a wealth of information while I walked through my first pregnancy and she was literally a godsend during labor and delivery. She was there every step of the way for every moment and for every question I needed answered. If you are trying to decide if Lauren is the doula for you let me just say, SHE IS! She is so sweet, kind and compassionate. She’s extremely knowledgeable and just and amazing woman all around. It also says speaks volumes that my husband (who originally was hesitant about hiring a doula) insists on having Lauren on our birth team for any future pregnancies because she was so helpful to him as well. She is absolutely wonderful and you will not regret it if you choose Lauren as your doula.

Lauren was absolutely wonderful to work with. My husband and I decided pretty last minute, about 36 weeks that we wanted to hire a doula to support me during labor. Lauren quickly met with us in our home to discuss my birth preferences. She was so friendly and calm, and I quickly knew I wanted her to assist us with the birth of our son. She was supportive and helpful during our experience at the hospital. I absolutely recommend hiring a doula of it’s something you are considering. I highly recommend Lauren, as she was so helpful and encouraging thought the whole experience.

My husband and I selected Lauren as our doula for the birth of our first child -- we are so happy that we did! Lauren was incredibly helpful in the months leading up to pregnancy. She provided recommendations and resources for us to determine our birth preferences and was a valuable sounding board when I was diagnosed with a high-risk pregnancy condition that required an induction -- and, consequently, a complete re-think of those preferences.
During my actual induction and labor, Lauren was an invaluable support person for both me and my husband. From bringing string lights to make the delivery room cozy, to guiding us through exercises during the unmedicated portion of my labor, to fetching water, to helping us determine the "next right step" when my labor stalled, we cannot imagine not having had Lauren as part of our pregnancy and birth journey.
