I wholeheartedly recommend Rachelle and her services, especially for first-time parents or those who’ve had a difficult/traumatic previous pregnancy or delivery.

My friend suggested hiring a doula because it was great to have someone explain what was happening and what I could do as the dad in the delivery room. I’m so glad we did, especially Rachelle (after interviewing three doulas) because she provided that and so much more, especially when it felt like nothing was going as planned. She was there to help my wife accomplish her delivery goals but also adapt them as the situation required. Rachelle was a huge support for me as a first-time dad and a source of comfort for my wife.

During pregnancy, Rachelle was a wealth of knowledge, especially when my wife was diagnosed with preeclampsia. She gave us her perspective, experience, and backed it up with data, helping us make informed decisions and not feel overwhelmed. It was so helpful to have someone to talk to after the chaotic doctor appointments and hospital visits.

This was especially true when we needed an early induction and during my wife’s 72-hour labor. Her communication was amazing throughout the whole process. Looking back, even though things didn’t go as planned. She helped us to make decisions, communicate with the nurses and doctors, and overall stay sane.

We also hired Rachelle for a few blocks for postpartum support, which I’m so glad we did during those first few weeks that were so tough!

As first-time parents, my wife and I were fortunate to find Rachelle as our postpartum doula. After interviewing several candidates, we chose Rachelle for her extensive experience, excellent communication skills, and strong sense of responsibility. Our decision proved to be the right one in every way.

Rachelle was there to support us from the moment we brought our baby home. Communication was super easy and her care for both my wife and our newborn was exceptional. What impressed us most was Rachelle's wealth of knowledge - she taught us countless useful tips about infant care and maternal recovery, always backing her suggestions with solid data and information. Our conversations, whether about child development, travel, or other topics, were always engaging and informative.

Rachelle's support was truly invaluable during those challenging first months. She's not just a doula; she's a lifesaver. We would undoubtedly work with her again for any future children and wholeheartedly recommend her services to anyone in need of a postpartum doula. Rachelle's expertise and compassion make her an absolute godsend for new parents.

First time dad here - we were so happy we worked with Rachelle as our doula, and we would hire her again should we have another child. Rachelle was incredible! A few months before the birth, she met with us twice to go over the birth process, stages of labor, etc., and ensured we felt ready for the birth of our child. We both found the classes helpful, and felt better after going through them. Most importantly, Rachelle was invaluable during labor. Rachelle answered our texts all throughout the night (from midnight-8 a.m.) as my wife went into labor. Labor is hard and long, and after being up for 24 hours, I was gassed. Rachelle provided continued support for my wife, which allowed me to take small breaks to nap and recharge. She was also instrumental in ensuring the labor continued to progress. We felt so cared for by Rachelle, and I'm so thankful she was there to support us. As a final note, our midwives, who hadn't worked much with Rachelle before, complimented her to us and told us how impressed they were with her as doula.

I was on the fence about a doula, but couldn't imagine doing a birth without Rachelle.

I can't say enough good things about Rachelle. We decided to choose her because she had a similar story to mine where I desperately wanted to have an unmedicated birth but due to medical complications in the pregnancy, a medicated hospital birth was the only way. Not only did she commiserate, she encouraged me eventually I had full confidence that the hospital was the best way to bring my child into the world.

She was thorough and extremely knowledgeable in labor, birth, and postpartum education, but was engaging and fun throughout the informative sessions.

She had an arsenal of devices and such for pain management, hypnobirthing, Christian hypnobirthing, distractions, etc. and I used quite a few. I can confirm they are very effective and useful!

Additionally, she took photos in the moment during the birth and the moments after. Some of these photos were so raw, emotional, and beautiful. I had forgotten that was part of the deal, but it was such a lovely surprise to have those moments encapsulated forever.

I think the best thing about Rachelle is her ability to be so casual and personal. From zoom call number one to our post partum check in, she's been incredibly friendly and kind and so very easy to talk to about anything. She's very organized and punctual. Responds quickly even in the midst of family emergencies. Is there as soon as needed even though she lives at least an hour away from us. And genuinely cares for the couples she works with. I truly feel I not only scored an incredible doula, I also scored a great new friend.

Working with Rachelle for the last 7 months has been a pleasure! She truly has a passion for educating, guiding and listening to expectant moms. During my pregnancy she provided me with resources and researched information to help make the right decision for my pregnancy. She listened to my fears about labor and delivery and helped ease my mind with different mental health techniques. During labor and delivery Rachelle was there for every step of the way. She treated everyone in the hospital with a great deal of respect while advocating for my needs. She kept me calm and focused during a very difficult delivery. My delivery could have been a traumatic experience if I had not had her guidance. Don’t look any further, Rachelle is your gal! She was the best money spent during my entire pregnancy!

I had an incredible experience with Rachelle. I hired her as my postpartum doula after having a very difficult postpartum experience with my first son. We had all sorts of issues and I wanted to be prepared with professional help in case those things came up again (trouble breastfeeding, hard time adjusting to little / no sleep, postpartum anxiety, etc)

This time around has been a completely different experience because this baby has been eating and sleeping extremely well, which I'm so grateful for, but having a newborn with a 2 year old, high energy, very attached to me, was a huge transition for me and our family. There were lots of big emotions and hard things to work through. Rachelle helped not only me, but my 2 year old and baby every step of the way. She provided me with tons of knowledge and things to try to make the transition easier, and I can say after 5 weeks I really feel like the tips she's provided have helped us navigate these times. She is professional, warm, caring, friendly, and truly listens and supports what works best for you and your family, while providing professional advice and insight, if you want it. She also helped with laundry, dishes and light cleaning which is HUGE when you're postpartum and don't want to let things pile up as that can add to the anxiety and stress. She was incredible I highly recommend her if your considering a postpartum doula. I would definitely hire her again if we have a third.

My experience with Rachelle was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we had our initial meeting, we knew she was the right doula for our family. Rachelle is extremely personable while also maintaining her professionalism; the perfect balance! She provided us with all the information we needed to feel prepared for a natural, unmedicated birth. She coached us through laboring at home and what to expect leading up to that point. When we found out our baby was breech, she provided a ton of information on how to try to get babies to turn to the right position and started to educate me on what to expect with a c section. While my last resort was having a c section, I felt very prepared and was able to accept and prepare for the delivery with Rachelle's help. When I went in to labor, Rachelle was available to help me time contractions and met us at the hospital. She came prepared with essential oils that helped my nausea and brought a calm energy to the room that both my husband and I needed. She stayed through the delivery and provided support in the recovery room by helping me get our daughter to latch for her first feed, and checking in on how I was doing in the midst of all the chaos. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a doula and we will 100% be calling her when it is time to have our next baby!

Rachelle cared for our newborn daughter during the first month of her life. She did several overnight sessions as well as a few daytime sessions. Rachelle is a fantastic doula. As a first time parent, bringing home a newborn was extremely overwhelming. I was also recovering from a difficult birth. With her expertise in newborn care, and vast knowledge base, she provided me peace of mind that my daughter was well cared for during my recovery journey.

She has a calm personality. She provided gentle and loving care for our daughter. She worked hard to understand our needs. She is also meticulous and detail oriented. She would provide insightful notes on how each session with our daughter.  She also spent time teaching us newborn care basics.  She is punctual and goes above and beyond while communicating. She would send us detailed emails with numerous references for any question we had on baby care.

She also offered many kind words and support during a particularly difficult postpartum recovery. She is genuinely compassionate.

I highly recommend Rachelle for anyone who would like a loving, experienced, and knowledgeable doula.

Rachelle was all that I have ever wanted in a doula for my labor and delivery experience. Not only did she help tremendously with giving me coping mechanisms during labor, encouraging me by using affirmations and facts during stressful moments, being there constantly when in need of pain management, and having a positive and bright attitude the entire time but Rachelle also helped me prepare beforehand for labor and delivery. Having someone that feels like a friend that you’ve known your entire life help you through bringing a life into this world, was something I am so happy I experienced with Rachelle. Having her near me during this experience has made such a positive impact on me that I wouldn’t mind doing this over and over again!
