Our journey with Katherine is unique as we had never met or even spoken to each other until I was at the hospital to have my second child. We were initially working with another doula leading up to the birth but was unable to be present when it came time to have the baby, so she lined us up with Katherine. While we had never met Katherine, you would have NEVER known that by the end of our birth story. It was such an instant and natural connection we felt with Katherine. She had read up on the notes our initial doula had sent her and she was ready. I truly believe that everything happens for a reason, and without a doubt, Katherine was meant to be part of our birth story. She was professional, personable, and such a joy to have to guide us through the experience of bringing our second child into the world. We felt a sense of comfort, trust, and peace throughout the whole experience. She was gentle, she listened, and she gave insightful advice when we sought it. She played a critical role in why we were able to have the most beautiful birth experience I could have imagined, from start to finish. We are forever grateful to Katherine and feel that she is forevermore part of our family now.

I am so glad we were able to have Katherine as our doula! She has been supportive, informative, and gracious in all of our interactions. My husband and I both had recently lost our moms and were apprehensive about going through pregnancy, birth, and parenthood without them. I hoped that we could find a doula to support and be there with us, and Katherine was the right fit for us. I had talked with several doulas, but when I first spoke with Katherine on the phone, I felt comfortable right away and knew I wanted to have her at our birth.

Katherine provided support and education during my pregnancy, always encouraging us when we felt uncertain. She kept in touch with us regularly once I went into labor and came to the hospital at 1am when we were admitted! She was very prepared and helped me navigate my options throughout a very long labor and pushing phase. She checked in on us often in the weeks/months after birth and helped us troubleshoot things like birth weight loss, mastitis, sleep, etc. We have been so grateful to have Katherine in our corner and highly recommend her to other couples seeking support during their birth.

Katherine is absolutely incredible. She was such a blessing leading up to birth. She taught us about child birth and what to expect and was able to answer all of our questions. Knowing what to expect eased our minds when I went into labor. She was able to teach my husband what to do and how to be the most helpful while I was in labor. I was in labor for 48 hours total, pushed for 3 hours, and had no epidural. The only way we made it through was Katherine's support. She was at the hospital with us for 27 straight hours. Katherine truly made birth feel like a team effort between myself, my husband, and her. We each had our roles and were able to execute them well. She is such a gift and was so knowledgeable. We will be using her for any and all future births!

I met Katherine early in my third trimester, I initially intended to do a hospital birth and knew as a first-time mom I wanted additional support. As a Christian, I was looking for someone who shared my belief and would be a prayer support to me and my husband as we walked this new journey together. Katherine was that and more!

She would check in on me and was always available to answer any questions/concerns I might have. I decided to completely change my birth plan very late into my pregnancy and she helped me weigh the pros/cons of such a change. I went forward with a waterbirth and it was absolutely perfect! She took awesome photos we can reminisce on for years to come. I felt very empowered, encouraged, and prepared working with Katherine. I would highly recommend her for your birth!

Katherine Hall was my Doula for the birth of my third child. This was my second VBAC and I've also had previous pregnancy complications (HELLP syndrome and blood pressure issues).  Katherine was very knowledgeable about all of these things. Additionally, it was very important to my husband and I to have a Doula that shared our faith in Christ. Katherine is amazing and I’m so glad I had her with me during my pregnancy and birth. She met with my husband and I for our prenatal visit and we knew that she was the perfect choice for us. One of the ways that Katherine went above and beyond is her care for me even before labor started. I had hip pain during the end of pregnancy and she came over to my house and did some light pressure/massage to help alleviate the pain. I also really appreciated that she would check on me after every prenatal visit. I ended up going for induction at 40 weeks and she was there for the whole process. She guided me through the steps of what would be happening and how I might feel. She set my room up with lights and made everything so comfortable and peaceful. She was always a step ahead and knew what I needed before I even asked for it. Her soothing touch guided me and helped me through many contractions. For the birth she was right there coaching me and helping me through even when I didn’t think I could do it. She was able to calm me down and get me back on track. She was such a help for my husband as well and he felt taken care of too. My husband told me he was very grateful that we had such a great doula. In addition to coaching me through pushing, she pretty much took a full photography session for us. The pictures were awesome. Katherine is amazing and I would definitely recommend her. I never felt like a client, but more like her friend. She worked so well with my nurses and doctor. After the birth Katherine texted and checked on me multiple times and also came to my house for our postpartum visit.

Katherine was integral to mine and my husbands experience giving birth to our first child. She was a wealth of information and encouragment in the months leading up to our due date and came for a home visit several times to meet with my husband and I. While I was pretty well informed, already doing my research, my spouse was not as much and having the opportunity to walk through what to expect with Katherine together with him I feel helped alleiviate a lot of his concerns and just "don't know what you don't know". It was wonderful to have Katherine to soundboard with, ask questions and get guidance to evidence based articles and research as I firgured out what kind of birth plan I wanted to have while delivering in a hospital.

Katherine was a constant source of encouragement before and after delivery. She stuck it out with me through 14 of my 24 hours of labor in hospital and helped me stick with my desires for an unmedicated birth. When I decided to get an epidural after 14 hours of active labor and being stuck for 10 hours at 9.5 dilated, she assured me of how hard I'd worked and that this wasn't admitting defeat helping me stay in a positive mental space.  While she wasn't able to be present for our sons birth, she was still encouraging and checking in via text and took several calls from me as my husband and I faced some additional decisions helping me keep a level head while truly at a point of exhaustion.

In addition to all of this wonderful support, Katherine provided her care and service with a focus on prayer and scripture. It was priority for my husband and I to have a fellow believer as our doula and she was truly a part of our birth plan and sons birth story. Both my husband and I have remarked multiple times in the months since how we don't think we could have gotten through it without her calming presence and covering prayers.

Katherine was my Doula and recently assisted with my pregnancy and the birth of my first child. I found Katherine well into my third trimester. I was weeks from my due date, and Katherine immediately stepped in to provide support and education. She was always available by text and scheduled visits to discuss labor and delivery, breastfeeding, etc. Katherine was great at providing support, encouragement, and assistance when I gave birth. Her presence made the experience much more manageable and helped reduced my fear. After birth, Katherine checked in frequently and visited twice for postpartum support. Katherine was very sweet, and even brought homemade granola! I highly recommend her.

My husband and I have nothing but the best things to say about Katherine. She's knowledgeable, thorough, and so personable, and she's got a smile and a demeanor that are just so pleasant and soothing to be around. I couldn't have asked for a better doula to walk me through my first pregnancy. Katherine's childbirth education and tips were so helpful for me and definitely prepared me to know what to expect when the day came (and even how not to be too anxious if the unexpected happens!). She never made me feel like I was just a client. Instead, every meeting, every communication, and her presence on the day of my baby's birth were full of love and the greatest practical care for me, my husband, and our baby. My little boy is beyond blessed to have had her as such an integral part of his birth. Thank you so much, Katherine!

Katherine was incredibly calming and reassuring for my birthing experience! I was so appreciative of her assistance and help. I can tell that she really loves this experience and won't be pushy about getting birthing over with, she allowed me to have the time I needed to bring life into the world!

I was put in touch with Katherine thanks to a mutual friend who said she was looking to get her doula business going and would be a great match for me. We met for coffee early in my pregnancy and immediately hit it off. After interviewing one other potential doula and discussing it with my husband, we decided Katherine would be the best fit. She was involved throughout my pregnancy and would check on me periodically to hear about my prenatal visits and get any updates and ultrasound photos. She met with us at our house a while before my due date to go over my goals and birth plan, share tips and counter pressure positions, and see if I had any questions for her. She made sure I knew she would be ready to meet me at the hospital whenever I went into labor and that I would have her undivided attention. Once I went into the hospital Katherine arrived shortly after and jumped right in lending a hand as I squatted through contractions, and making sure I drank water. She was by my side along with my midwife, my husband and my mom for the entire process and though it is hard to remember details I always had a hand to hold and I do specifically remember her soothing voice talking me through contractions as I was in the intense transition phase, telling me the wave would subside and I would have rest in between. As my daughter was born she even got some pictures for which I am very grateful. Soon after she headed out and I would have loved for her to stay around longer to talk but in the moment I had plenty to keep me occupied obviously. She came to visit me and the baby not long after to check on us and make sure I was recovering well. She was so supportive and loving through the entire process and I am so glad we had her as our doula. It is a huge thing to choose who will be present for the birth of your baby, a momentous event, and I wouldn't have changed a thing. I highly recommend Katherine to any moms looking for a doula who is caring, calm, and reliable.
