Kennedy was so helpful and knowledgeable and I could not have done it without her. She has all the resources you could imagine and a very holistic approach. She's super knowledgeable and gave us the confidence to master the Labour together. Her encapsulation helped me so much postpartum and I would highly recommend this to anyone!
I would love to see her for my next birth in the future.

Kennedy was our postpartum doula for our baby girl. Our baby was our first born and due to some misfortune, our parents were unable to visit us. Being first time parents and without much support, we were quite nervous about the newborn care. This is where Kennedy was such a great help. She was knowledgeable, readily available and eager to answer any questions that we asked her. We were comfortable with her taking care of our baby. She respected our parenting style and allowed us to express our concern without being judged. She takes her work seriously and truly cares about the babies and their parents. Her herbal tea was really helpful in my wife's postpartum recovery. We strongly recommend her as a Doula

Kennedy was my doula for our baby girl in October! She was my first born so I was naturally nervous, excited, scared and just a mix of emotions. I knew I wanted to give birth in a hospital but still have a doula as a dedicated support person while in labor. Kennedy educated me on what to expect, creating birth plans and helping me prepare physically and mentally during our two prenatal visits. Kennedy was very kind and accommodating to my plan and helped me understand the pros and cons of everything while maintaining realistic expectations. She was very responsive to all of my texts and calls and my thousands of questions! When I went into early labor she was coaching me Theough when to go to the hospital. If it wasn't for her I would have been sitting in a hospital bed for much longer but I was able to labor at home until my contractions got strong enough to go in. During labor she met me at the hospital as soon as I got there and was extemely professional and knew exactly how my labor was progressing and what support I needed in the moment. She is patient, kind and does not push her beliefs onto you. She respects if you want medication or not and will make sure your plan is followed as close as possible during labor. She also helped us hold the hospital staff accountable to what I had planned and gave my husband tips on how he can helo. She also has lactation experience which has been very helpful post partum. I had an amazing experience with Kennedy, and as my husband would agree, we couldn't have done it without her!

We have already recommended Kennedy to several friends with newborns. Kennedy and Natalie took over night shifts for us when our baby was a month old. They were a godsend. We were finally able to get some desperately needed sleep, and felt 100% assured that our baby was well taken care of. Kennedy and Natalie are SO professional, caring and knowledgeable throughout. 100% on communication. They also sleep trained the baby so that she already had a fairly consistent sleep schedule at 3 months old (and very easily transitioned into sleeping long hours at 4 months). Very flexible with scheduling, invoicing, etc., working with Carrot's requirements to get invoices reimbursed, etc. Can't recommend them enough!!!

Kennedy was awesome, she was my birthdoula and provided great support in later part of my third trimester till birth. I attribute my easy natural delivery (on 12/12/2022) to her great collaboration with the nurses at the hospital in terms of position, her availability to clear any questions and to help me trust in myself. I loved how she has so many timely things in her toolbox and gets it out n the right time without even us asking. She is professional and friendly at same time. I will recommend her to anyone in a jiffy to help in one's most special vulnerable lifetime moments aka childbirth

Kennedy was a lifesaver for us. Kennedy saw us before the birth and knew what we wanted and where we were at so she could support at home. During our contractions she stayed awake, helping us be able to sleep despite contractions. She applied heat packs, brought a tens machine for use, gave us movements to try, kept us hydrated, etc. When I called her in the morning she came without question which really helped validate us at a very vulnerable moment. She helped us get to our midwife when we went in for a check to see how the birth was going, and then was with us for the entire birth. She held my hand, helped take pictures, assisted the birth team, etc. She would think of ways to help us that we haven't even asked her to do and would do them. After the birth Kennedy was crucial for us in learning how to breastfeed. As first time parents we did not know about that amongst many other things. She helped us understand why kids fuss, what to do about the umbilical cord, ways to recover quickly, and more. When reflecting on the birth of our baby, we would say that she was one of the most important parts of the experience, and that it wouldn't have gone as smoothly without her.

Kennedy is a wonderful person and we've been so fortunate to have her as our birth and postpartum doula. She is a great listener, highly responsive, and truly cares about the families she serves. During my delivery, she was fully present and did all she could to ensure I had a good labor experience. This included essential oils, adjusting labor positions with different exercises, and even taking pictures for us after birth. FYI - She is also an amazing photographer! Kennedy has also been extremely helpful as a postpartum doula. We can trust her to take excellent care of our son even in our absence. She has been a valuable resource to us and we appreciate that she always takes time to educate us and answer our questions. We highly recommend Kennedy for doula services!

Hiring a doula for the first time was a very positive experience that went above and beyond my expectations. I decided to hire a doula to reduce my risk of needing a C-section and shorten my labor. I got exactly what I wanted and more. I chose Kennedy as my doula because of the way she described birth as a beautiful experience. As a second time mom, I wanted a different birth experience than the one I had 15 years ago. Kennedy was supportive of my decision to have a natural unmedicated child birth. After discussing it further, she helped me come to the decision to deliver at a birth center rather than a hospital. I had a super short labor (just a little over 3 hours) and had an amazing water birth. Although things moved quickly, Kennedy was my coach during the most intense part of my labor. She brought a calm and positive energy and helped me feel strong and confident. The prenatal visits we had helped 1000% because I was able to mentally and physically prepare myself for the big day. Some of the things I found very useful were the pre labor positions to try, how to hand express colostrum, how to use a birthing ball and visualization techniques. She even loaned me a tens unit to help with my back pain towards the end of my pregnancy. The postpartum visits were very sweet. I hadn’t been away from my baby since he was born but I was comfortable leaving him with Kennedy while I ran errands and had a self care day. Overall, I highly recommend Kennedy to expecting parents . She made the process easy to navigate and was always on time and quick to respond. She will make a wonderful addition to your support team. She indeed helped me deliver my joy and create the beautiful birth story I never get tired of sharing.

Our family had an incredible experience with Kennedy as our doula! From prenatals, to during the labor, and support after baby arrived. She was a calm, knowledgeable, and supportive presence for us all. We learned so much from her and as first time parents were anxious. She had helpful suggestions for how to ease our anxiety and had us feeling better prepared. When things did not go according to plan, she was there every step of the way advocating for us and helping guide us in our decisions. Thank you to Kennedy for helping us bring our healthy baby boy into this world in a way that honored and respected us! We are forever grateful for her services and would highly recommend her as a doula!

I can't begin to say how happy my husband and I were to have Kennedy as our doula. This was our first child so we weren't sure what to expect during the whole process; looking back on it I know that everything was better having her there. She was the perfect balance of energy and calm and knew when both were needed. She was my voice to the doctors and nurses when I needed an advocate and my companion when my husband needed a break. She was there to coach me so my husband could be there to comfort me. We can't thank her enough for being what we needed during delivery.
All of that neglects to say that the visits we had with Kennedy before and after were so useful and helpful. Going over positioning and what to expect in our meeting before birth were so useful. It made me feel confident when things got going during delivery that I wasn't going in blind.
After delivery I was so thankful for our first meeting where we got to debrief the birth. I had forgotten so much of what happened and I didn't realize until after we met how much I needed to process the birth of our son. The second meeting where Kennedy looked after our son for four hours so we could get some much needed rest was so useful we've had her come back for multiple sessions since. Sometimes not being with our son is scary for me, but I felt so comfortable having Kennedy care for him.
While it's not happening any time soon, whenever we get to having baby #2 we'll be making sure that Kennedy is there with us. Thank you Kennedy for everything!

As a first time mom, I didn't know what to expect from having a doula. I'm more of a private person so I thought having another person in the room during the intimacy of labor/birth would add a layer of awkwardness. This was definitely not the case. Having Kennedy with us was the most amazing experience ever! We had a couple of pre-visits that really helped create that bond needed for the big day. When the day(s) came, Kennedy was with us with every contraction. She empowered my partner to be present and helpful. My labor wasn't the easiest but the support and knowledge Kennedy provided created the birth story of my dreams! Kennedy is very communicative- from initial contact to postpartum- I could count on her to respond in a timely fashion. I will definitely be seeking out Kennedy for future pregnancies. Highly recommend. Seriously, thank you Kennedy!
