I couldn't have been more thrilled to have Michelle with me for this birth.  I have 5 pregnancies and every delivery has been memorable but  this was the most calm childbirth experience I have had.   Aware of my needs, She was patient, supportive and advocated for me when I was exhausted.  She was encouraging and reminded me that I was built for birthing this baby especially when I was ready to give up. If I were to ever have a baby again, Michelle would be the one that I would call because I know she's in my corner.  I am forever grateful for her!

Wow. Where do I start. We can't imagine our experience without Michelle. We were expecting our first baby and my husband was undergoing chemotherapy for cancer. We knew we should have some backup support to make the experience as smooth as possible for both of us since we had been through a lot these 9 months. Michelle answered when I called her at midnight. She showed up to the hospital so quickly and was ready to go. She helped me move through the contractions, she had great insight on how the hospital operated and how to advocate since I have no experience in this at all. She didn't take over for my husband (except when it was time to get the epidural and my husband excused himself) she helped him support me. She knew when my husband should take advantage of eating or sleeping based on the timelines she knew to expect that we had no idea about. She knew to have me change side positions to keep baby descending and helped me get in those positions. Lastly, the most priceless thing she gave us was pictures of us and baby upon his arrival into the world. A moment that can never be duplicated, caught on camera.
If you are wondering if it's worth it, stop wondering and get your credit card out. I would have paid any amount to have her all over again.

Michelle was the biggest blessing in my labor experience. I truly could not have gotten through my unmedicated labor and delivery without her support.

I was particularly impressed with how well she was able to see what I needed and provide relief without me ever having to say a word. She could tell in the early stages of labor how nervous I was about being at the hospital and she was quick to set the mood and calm my nerves which quickly progressed my stalling labor. Her verbal affirmations and massage techniques carried me through transition and delivery.

If you are looking for a someone who takes initiative and will be an advocate for you, Michelle is the doula for you.

Michele is an amazing doula and was a great support through my pregnancy and delivery. She is knowledgeable, caring and genuinely loves what she does. I was so grateful to have her help me navigate my VBA2C birth and empowered me to advocate for myself and my birth plan. She made sure I was informed when the hard decisions needed to be made and was always available for questions. She really made the whole process as peaceful and empowering as possible!

Where do I even start! The only thing I knew for sure about this pregnancy, was that it would be different than any other previous pregnancy and Michele was 100 percent a huge part of why that was possible. From miscarriage worries, a plus size pregnancy and baby bump woes to keeping it natural and medical complications; my goal was to not allow this pregnancy to be medically hijacked. Michele was my cheerleader through it all and then my advocate when my birth center birth turned into a hospital birth. It is because of her that it didn't matter where I ended up giving birth, it was everything and in the end, even more than I could have hoped for because not only did I get my magical rainbow baby, but so much of my heart was healed through this journey, because Michele saw how important this journey was for me after 2 losses. When I leaned on Michele and confided in her, I was met with support and understanding. When I wanted to know/learn more about a topic she provided the resources to strengthen my mind. When I felt weak or lost, Michele reminded me of my strength, but also that this was my story, I was the author and I had the power. I got the unmedicated, holistic, empowered birth my heart ached for because she understood the importance and never let me forget what I was fighting for. Never did I expect to laugh while in active labor, giddy with excitement because I was so proud of the strength I continued to find in myself and that was possible because of the relationship, the trust and bond we grew on this journey together. Every single pregnant mama needs a doula by their side and not just any one will do ... Michele will straighten your crown when you fall, then shout from the rooftops what a badass you are because she sees so much beauty in the ups and downs of the pregnancy journey and by the end of it all, so will you!

Michelle helped me through the pregnancy and delivery of my first child. Since this was my first time, I of course had questions about changes I was experiencing towards the end of my pregnancy and what was normal. Michelle was always available to call and answer my questions and make me feel comfortable. Although it was my first time, labor went very fast for me and it became difficult for me to process what was going on around me. Michelle was able to keep me calm, help with counter pressure and positioning to help with the pain. She also took my wants and my birth plan very seriously and was able to communicate to the hospital staff when I was caught up on contractions. She even took my husband to the side to talk to him when I was going into the final stage of labor, just to make sure he could know what to expect and how to help. Once baby was out Michelle was right by my side and helped me get the little one latched for the first time. You can research and take all the classes you want but having someone very experienced to help you through makes all the difference. If it wasn't for her, I don't think I would have been able to have the birthing experience that I wanted and I'm super grateful for that!

Michele was the perfect doula for me! She is the type of doula that will go through the ringer with you if need be! And through the ringer I went due to some unexpected complications I encountered. Nonetheless, Michele assessed my situation through the live monitors in my labor room, research based evidence and faith. Having said that, she provided me with options that I could utilize during labor for the type of delivery I wanted for my situation. I'm extremely satisfied with her services! If you want a trooper on your team that will ride with you to the finish line, Michele is your lady! If I am blessed to have more children, I will be requesting that Michele be my doula again! Once you find a good team player like Michele you don't want to reinvent the wheel.

Michele was a true blessing for my Free-birth she was there and present with so much love and courage holding me like the way nature as a mother would have held me. She was so encouraging and comforting and did everything I asked her that would bring me comfort. I am truly beyond grateful for her support and for those hip squeezes that truly saved my life as I was in transition! My birth went so quickly but it would have never been the same without Michele. She truly truly cares about this work and you can see how passionate she is about it. Do yourself a favor and have Michele be the one to support you through this magical process!

My experience with a doula was not the normal but it was amazing! My midwife was thinking I was still in early labor and suggested Michelle. She called and spoke with my mom so I could keep my head in the right place. After talking to my mom she gave us some reassurance that I was intact in labor and was able to translate that to the midwife. We met Michelle at the birthing center and she jumped right in! We had never met but she didn't care and you couldn't tell! She remembered everyone's name and wasn't scared to jump in when needed. Birth went fast and she was there the entire time coaching me on and even holding a leg when needed. She was a huge help with breast feeding and I believe made it successful. She was amazing and made my birth something that was unforgettable. She checked in several times after birth but not annoyingly! She came out and visited once family was gone and we kind of slowed down. She is so calm and kindhearted.

Michele was amazing she checked in with me regularly to see how I was doing and empowered me to accomplish my goals with my last baby.  Gave me great resources and tips to get myself prepared and helped us welcome our baby boy into the world. She was amazing and will help so many families.

Our doula Michele went above and beyond expectations. Our labor lasted 60 long hours and she was there for well over half of it. While there she encouraged me every step of the way. She advocated for me and asked questions when I wasn't feeling well enough to ask them myself. 

She made sure I was as comfortable as possible and asked me every 30 minutes or so if my needs changed and how she could assist me. She made sure I was up when I could be up. She made sure I was changing positions and breathing through my contractions. 

She took pictures when I thought no one did. It made me cry when I received them because I thought I would never have memories of my labor. She helped the babies dad/ my boyfriend understand his new role as a daddy. She helped him cope with knowing he would be on his own for a few days as my labor turned c section due to complications. 

Michele left while I was having my c section because no visitors were allowed. Once I was out she never hesitated to call or text to check in and stayed in touch with my boyfriend.

Once we got home she continued to check in and even came over to help me on my new breastfeeding journey.  Michele made our delivery so much calmer. I really enjoyed having her!

From start to finish she was amazing. Very supportive throughout my pregnancy and was everything I needed when it came time to deliver. I don't know what I would've done without her! I highly recommend her to everyone I know! Thank you so much!!
