We loved working with De'Junique! She is so nurturing, supportive, and calm. Exactly what I needed to help get me through such a transformational experience of becoming a parent. Although I ended up having an unplanned c-section she provided excellent pre and postpartum care. We also bonded over our love of cats!

Absolutely amazing and wouldn’t want it any different. From the moment we talked I knew DeJunique would be a valuable part of my journey. Being on a 2 year fertility journey I wanted my labor to be magical and as unmedicated as possible. Having DeJunique there answering all my questions and giving me not only valuable information but also her energy got me in a calm mindset. My 3 day labor was no joke but she was there the whole time going above and beyond and was of amazing support for me and my birth partner. I really looked for her for guidance and support the whole time and felt very safe in her hands. She has a great relationship with the hospital staff and is extremely knowledgeable also about medical topics which helped me a lot! She will always be a very special person in mine and my son’s life and I am forever grateful for her! ??

DeJunique was the best doula I could have hoped for! She was kind, knowledgable, calm, and comforting throughout the entire experience. De was also really helpful during her prenatal visits where she shared lots of information about birth and newborns. De helped me envision what I wanted my birth experience to be and was supportive of my decisions when things didn't go as planned. De also supported my partner and empowered him with techniques for helping me cope with labor. She was a crucial part of the entire experience and I cannot recommend her enough to any birthing person!

DeJuniqie was a fantastic, passionate doula. She was a plethora of information before, during and after labor - assisting on health and wellness questions and advice for both me, my partner and my child. Plus, I loved her PDFs to review when needed. Her energy was fantastic and she is extremely easy and comfortable to talk with. My labor experience was very positive and the amount of strong feminine energy in the room was undeniable. I am grateful for her maternal instincts and selfless giving throughout our time together. She also encapsulated our placenta and educated us on that process and the benefits - which was wildly fascinating to me. I'm SO glad I got a doula and DeJunique was a fantastic choice for me and my partner.

DeJunique understands the physiology of labor as well as the decisions a family will be faced with throughout pregnancy, birth and postpartum. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a birth or postpartum doula.

Deja was so helpful with my birthing experience. I honestly can't believe I went through my first pregnancy without a doula. She re assured me and was wonderful with answer my questions. It felt like talking to a friend or sister. If I have another child I would gladly have her in the room again.

Dè really helped me understand the process of childbirth and to be open to the experience and prepared for every situation/outcome that childbirth can bring. She was realistic with me, answered all my questions and never made me feel silly about what I deemed a stupid question. Having a doula like Dè made me feel more confident about giving birth as well as breastfeeding and everything that comes with postpartum/4th trimester. I am really grateful to have her support and guidance.

DeJunique is a wonderful doula. She gave me some great information to help me prepare for my birth. When I called her at midnight to let her know I was in labor and needed her to come to the hospital she did not hesitate to get there as quickly as she could. She supported me throughout the laboring time which I am thankful for because my husband also needed that helping hand. I am so grateful that I was able to have a doula with this second pregnancy. Labor was a little more rough the second time around but DeJunique was very calm and her energy helped balance mine out.

She also comes to help with the baby after the birth. She will come to your house and watch the baby while you get rest or get other things done or she will help do the household duties while you take care of the baby. I will most definitely recommend DeJunique if you are searching for a doula. She's great!

first i want to start off with how much i apperciate ms.brown for taking me on such short notice.

The stress and pressure i was under before working with her was giving me anxity but when she contacted me and we did our interview i just new she was the perfect match for me and my family. She is so easy to talk to and such a great support system. She really takes the time to know her clients and to bond with them. She takes pride in her job and care in her clients and family.

She gives great advice when you have questions and arent sure of whats going on with your body during pregnancy . She gives you hope when you feel like giving up and she gives great motivation. I am honestly so greatful we get to work with her and so thankful for the program for having her.

She really came through during my delievery and not only made sure that i was well rested but my partner as well and she made sure we were treated with proper care.. during my delievery i was unable to go to my provider due to them not having rooms available . That scared me having to go to a hospital that knew nothing of my pregnancy or health but ms.brown made me feel safe and protected at her hands. And gave us security that everything would be fine..

Thank you for being who you are and for doing such an amazing job . I highly reccomend her for everyone she definetly knows how to connect and earn trust with clients and i give her 1000 percent credit for being absolutly amazing .. everyone needs some one like ms.brown.

De'Junique was wonderful! She allowed me to feel so prepared for my delivery. She is warm and funny and brings a broad range of experience. I loved getting to plan and prep with her. It made the birth experience more enjoyable and less scary.

I met De towards the end of my pregnancy. Immediately she was able to assure me that she would be there. She was quick, knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions I had. I was a couple of weeks early and was not completely mentally prepared to go through labor. I really thought I had more time. With minutes of De showing up I immediately felt safe and supported. Locking eyes with De  during labor truly allowed me to dig deep and keep going. With ease she matched my energy and knew what I needed to hear. Can't thank her enough for contributing to an experience I will never forget. Team De!

I enjoyed working with DeJunique! While I was pregnant, she helped us learn about what to expect for labor and birth in general, as well as how she would help us during them. Her involvement really helped with some of the anxiety I had around the whole process. I felt like the tips and knowledge that she shared in our meetings before the birth were great. It was definitely a blessing to have someone in the room during labor who both understood my preferences and understood labor and how to work with the hospital staff. Postpartum, her support of me and my baby as we got used to home life were invaluable both in terms of an occasional little break from the demands of a newborn (absolutely wonderful to have access to a known and trusted caregiver, even for just a few hours), and in terms of support as we started our breastfeeding journey.

Hi! I loved my birthing experience with Doula De. Before I went into labor she gave me articles and sent me links to videos to help me prepare for my birth, when I went into labor she helped me through each contraction, massaging my feet and back helping me breathe and comforting me. Even down to me having a C-section she was in the room with me cheering me on! My birthing experience felt more at ease with her there. After my birth Doula de remains in contact with me, and checks on me and the baby. She's an amazing Dula. 10/10.

I truly enjoyed the time that I was able to utilize with Dè! She was awesome! She made sure that I was well informed throughout the time I had with her and when she came in person, she made sure to help out even with no instructions to do so. Always went above and beyond my expectations & always made us feel loved & cared for. My only complaint was not getting to utilize her longer!

If you know any black women that are pregnant or breastfeeding I recommend De'Junique Brown. De has genuinely been a life saver for us and our (almost) 1 month old. She helps out so much and is very knowledgeable about everything you need to know. There’s been a couple times where the hospital didn’t inform us properly on what to do or how to do things, but luckily we had De to ask for answers. She was also very helpful during labor, being with us for New Year’s Eve . Also, being a black women, the health care system isn’t on my side. She was there to advocate for me, always there to answer questions (day or night). De brings a uplifting energy that makes you want to smile. Me and my boyfriend are grateful for everything she’s done. This is also my first child. It can often feel like crazy and nothing going right, but De is always there to remind me to keep trying.
