Jacklyn is the definition of a quiet and gentle spirit! She is a humble servant, fulfilling the origin of the word 'doula' to a T. Calmly and confidently serving, always seeming to know what to do amidst all the chaos that labor can bring. My husband and I hired her for the birth of our first baby and we don't want to ever have a baby without her. She grounded us and helped me to stay focused on working to help my body bring our baby into the world, instead of just allowing labor happen to me. She gave me the confidence to know that I was capable when I had started to give up, and reassured me when the baby became stressed. After our first meeting with Jacklyn, we knew that we wouldn't be happy with anyone else as our doula, and we still believe that after all was said and done!

Jacklyn was an AMAZING doula. She helped us prepare for birth at prenatal visits and checked in with me often leading up to birth. I felt so reassured knowing she was there for me. At our homebirth, Jacklyn knew exactly what to do. She calmly and quietly supported me with words of encouragement and counterpressure during the most intense parts! As my husband said: I don't think we could have done it without her. I highly recommend Jacklyn's doula services to anyone expecting a baby.
