Jess’ kind heart and energy inspired me to work with her. She had experience and knowledge of being a doula, and I felt like our minds matched. If I did not work with Jess, I’m not sure how my doula experience would have been. It was my first birth and Jess really helped prepare me for giving birth, created a birth plan, listened to me, and truly cared. Jess was with me throughout the majority of my pregnancy. She made house visits which were really helpful and comforting. Each time she came over, she would bring something that would educate me on pregnancy, health, birth, etc. The night before I ended up having to be induced, Jess had unfortunately contracted Covid. I was so nervous because we had planned my birth and really imagined her being there with me. Jess ended up sending in one of her doula friends, Alana, who was just as wonderful. Alana arrived knowing my birth plan, helped me get settled in my room, and answered any future questions in coordination with Jess via text/ phone. I truly trusted Jess with making that decision. As sad as I was that she was not able to be there with me during labor and birth, I was thankful I had just as much support. Postpartum, Jess has been so helpful. She visited my home many times, helped with my baby girl, and made me nutritious meals to heal my body. Jess always has been such a light and so positive, helpful, and fun throughout the process. Jess supported me whenever I was stressed and nervous, she helped me heal from the outside in— as well as the inside out. She's wonderful. I would recommend others to Jess 100%. She is so kind-hearted, knowledgeable, and truly an overall great person who I really couldn't have pictured going through pregnancy and postpartum without.

We loved working with Jess! Jess supported us around 4 months postpartum when I was returning back to work and we hadn't yet started full-time childcare. Jess was incredibly supportive with helping our son learn to take a bottle (he had been exclusively breastfed up to that point), getting on a more regular nap schedule and getting him used to being cared for by a non-parent. Jess was so kind, patient and wonderful with Teddy. Would highly recommend working with Jess!

We found Jess by recommendation from our previous doula who was on leave, and we were so happy to have her support the birth of our baby. She is very professional and caring, with a soothing presence that helped with calming my anxiety pre and postpartum. She was super responsive with any questions leading up to the birth and was as involved as we wanted her to be during the labor. Her postpartum care was greatly appreciated being more than I expected by providing a healthy and hearty meal, and words of encouragement and expertise during my healing.
