As a single Black mom of two, having Alexis by my side was everything I needed and more. Seeing another Black woman as my doula was powerful—representation truly matters, and Alexis was meant for this work.

I had an epidural with my first child, but this time I wanted to try an unmedicated birth. Alexis helped me create a birth plan and talked me through different scenarios, which really put my mind at ease. During labor, she guided me through my contractions with breathwork and reminded me that the pain wouldn’t last forever, helping me stay focused and calm.

Her postpartum care has been just as incredible. She made it easier for me to establish a routine with my newborn, which has been a game-changer in getting the rest I need. I also loved all the postpartum care products she made—the body oil for my stretch marks, the yoni steams, her teas, and those heavenly bath soaks. They’ve been such a treat!

I’m so thankful for Alexis. She made this experience feel possible and empowered me through every step. If you're a Black woman just trying to make it through motherhood, I can’t recommend Alexis enough!

I don't know where I’d be without Alexis in my birth village! She was an absolute blessing throughout my entire birth and postpartum journey. As a first-time mom, I was overwhelmed, but Alexis made everything feel manageable and empowering. She provided a visual breakdown that helped me understand how to manage the pain of my contractions and created a calm, peaceful environment that made my birth experience so memorable.

Alexis was incredibly patient and offered engaging and educational advice on breastfeeding and newborn care, which was so helpful. What really stood out was how she involved my husband in the whole process. She didn’t just support me; she made sure he felt included and confident in his role, which meant a lot to both of us.

Her holistic approach truly sets her apart. Alexis prepared special herbal teas and postpartum bath soaks that helped me heal from my second-degree tear and introduced me to her incredible pad-sicles, which were a total game-changer! Her use of essential oils and body oils during labor was so unique and helpful—it made the experience feel grounded and spiritual.

Alexis consistently reminded me to care for myself after having my daughter, allowing me the space to rest and recover. She was genuinely caring, culturally aware, and provided trauma-informed care that made me feel seen and understood. On top of all this, Alexis was so affordable for everything she provided and offered great payment plans, making her services accessible to us.

If you're looking for a doula who is compassionate, knowledgeable, and deeply committed to equity and holistic care, Alexis is the one. She's meant for this work, and I'm forever grateful to have had her by my side!
