Ashley was compassionate, knowledgable and available throughout pregnancy and my VBA2C journey. She gave me pointers, resources and support and made my birth experience calm and supported. After the birth of my son, she comforted me and provided postpartum care with my two older children as well as a delicious meal. In the short amount of time we spent together, I felt as if she was a lifelong friend and highly recommend her!

Highly recommend Ashley! She kept my birth goals in mind and advocated for me and reminded me I was strong enough to do it. She has a calm, steady, and incredibly helpful presence. She loves being a doula and it shows through her work and support as you labor!

Ashley was phenomenal! I reached out to her not too long before my due date in the midst of heavy anxiety. I had no idea what I was doing or if a doula was worth it. SHE BLEW ME AWAY! The visits to my home and being on call for me meant the world. She is very informative and provides current information. Not only that, she was my support in the middle of the night in early labor while she was pregnant herself! She prioritized my birth experience and advocated for me when options were given at the hospital. Following child birth, she kept up with check ins and even to this day makes sure that my little one and I are doing great.... and it's almost been a year now. You won't regret your decision in choosing her as your doula!

Ashley was a godsend in this journey for me! As a 2x C section mom she prepared with me so much information along the way that really helped me find my voice and be heard by my medical team. She provided all the tips & tricks for trying to find some comfort in my last trimester, and also preparing for baby's arrival. She was an anchor for calmness and peace and always assured me things would be ok! When it came time for north she was readily available and so excited for me, and provided a kind of support that felt like a best friend or sister. She was encouraging, and motivating!  Sadly things did not work out as I had dreamed, but she was supportive and helpful in my recovery as well. She always made me feel completely supported and cared for. She was invaluable to me in this birth journey, I only wish I had her with my first two babies!!

My husband and I decided to hire Ashley as our doula because we wanted to have the best chance at having an unmedicated out of hospital birth for our first baby. Since I was a first time mom, having an extra support person for myself and my husband was important to me. Ashley made us feel comfortable from our first meeting-the fact that she was a fellow military wife was something we quickly bonded over. I had spent hours on my own learning about birth and loved that I could talk about all the things with her and feel supported in my decisions. She attended our prenatal education class with us, set up meetings in our home to go over any questions we had & helped us create our birth preferences plan. She was able to help us practice different laboring positions so we felt comfortable with them for when we were laboring on our own. Ashley offered support via text the days/weeks following my due date with check-ins to see how I was feeling. On the day I went into labor, she was available the minute we called her to come assist us at home. She was a welcome calm presence & she made the right call to go to the birth center when I was near transition, not too soon and not too late. While in labor at the birth center Ashley was there for myself and my husband with the extra set of hands needed. She offered sips of water or snacks between contractions, massage and words of affirmation. It was exactly what I pictured it to be having her and my husband as my support during labor. Ashley is a friend for life now that she was a part of the best day of our lives. We are so thankful for the support she provided us & that she was there to help us bring our sweet baby earth side.

I had a wonderful experience with Ashley as my doula.  This was the first child for both me and my husband.  Throughout my pregnancy we felt that there were a lot of things that we didn't know and my doctor didn't do a great job of offering us information.  So we decided to seek out a doula for additional support for the birthing process. Prior to giving birth we met with Ashley several times via zoom and at my home to help prepare for labor.  Ashley shared lots of tips and answered questions for both me and my husband. She shared a lot of resources with us and helped us build a birth plan (or birth preferences list).  Ashley was always there to support us ahead of the birth and helped us feel much more confident going in. I was induced at 39 weeks due to gestational diabetes and Ashely was able to provide me with so much information on the induction process.  She explained what I could expect and told me about all of the different options that were available to me.  This helped me to have better converstaions with my doctor ahead of time so that I understood what to expect at the hospital and was able to advocate for myself much better.  During the labor process Ashely was available by text right away and met us at the hospital exactly when we needed her.  Not only was she supportive of me and my needs, she was a great support to my husband.  I had a bad reaction to the epidural and Ashley was there to reassure my husband and calm him through a stressful time when I was doing poorly.  After the birth of my son Ashley provided postpartum support which was invaluable. I was having a tough time adjusting after the birth and she provided emotional support as well as many resources for me to get the help that I needed.  Ashely made my birthing experience so much better than it would have been without her. I would highly recommend her as a doula.

Honestly, Ashley made the biggest difference throughout my pregnancy. This was my first one and I had no idea what to expect or do and everything made me worry. Anytime I needed anything or had questions/concerns, she was so informative and had the BEST positive attitude no matter how ridiculous my concerns might have been lol. So genuine and sweet she just made the biggest difference for me and I'm so thankful I had her. I learned a lot and having someone explain things, give me advice & talk me through it made everything so much less stressful. Her energy is so calming and I knew she genuinely wanted me to have the best experience I could. She is absolutely amazing and the biggest sweetheart ever!!!

I cannot say enough about the impact Ashley made on our birth experience! She was with us 100% of the time. She brought an extreme amount of education and peace and comfort to us! I am truly grateful for her! Honestly, I was overwhelmed during the birth experience that I forgot almost everything. Ashley kept me calm and reassured us that everything was OK! Her demeanor and confidence was amazing! I cannot imagine having gone through this without her! She was helpful without being over bearing. She was gentle In her advice and allowed us to make our own decisions. Ashley has a nurturing and positive and comforting personality that made us feel at ease during a life changing experience!  Her passion was obvious! She has a love for the birth process and the well-being of the mother and child. More than that, she has a desire to make this experience a beautiful one! Her tender heart is beyond measure!We are thankful for her!
