My friend recommended Bri as a doula and yoga teacher and I'm so glad that she connected us. After attending Bri's prenatal yoga classes I appreciated how she spoke respectfully of every type of birth (unmedicated, medicated etc) and seemed to truly respect whatever direction a birth might need to go. Although I wanted an unmedicated birth, I've always been wary of doulas who see it as a holy Grail of birth. I hired her as our doula and throughout the whole process she struck the perfect balance of professionalism and intimacy which put both me and my husband at ease. She always made us feel like she had all the time in the world for us.

On the day of the birth she played a huge role in getting me through labor. Her support and encouragement were absolutely essential and some of the mantras she had me focus on also helped me get through some rough patches in the early newborn days. I'm forever grateful that she opted to ride in the vehicle with me to the hospital to offer support which meant leaving her car behind at our place.

She also took such great photos that both of us really treasure.

My expereince with Bri as my birth doula was outstanding. I was able to find and connect to Bri via her (excellent) pre-natal yoga class taught at Yoga Santosha in Kensington. Bri made the transition to becoming my doula seamless and pleasent. I deceided relatively late in my pregnancy (at 33 weeks) that I would want a birth doula with me and even on the short notice, we were able to make and sustain a professional, easy going, positive relationship with one another. During my birth, it felt more like a sleepover party between friends while I laboured then anything else. While I pushed Bri was there giving me encouragement and playing soothing music while the room's lights were dimmed and Bri had put up Christmas lights to set a calm mood. She even got UNFORGETTABLE photos from the time pushing that I will cherish and keep close to my heart forever.

Needless to say, I will use Bri again for any future pregnancies and I would highly recomend her to anyone who asked.

Thank you sooooooooo much Bri!

Bri’s support during my pregnancy, birth and postpartum was unbelievably helpful and I am beyond grateful we invested in her services. Before pregnancy and early on I didn’t think I would need or want a doula. However, as pregnancy progressed my mental wellbeing declined as hormones changed, I needed to seriously make a plan for how I could support myself for the rest of pregnancy and birth. I met Bri in prenatal yoga and thought it would be good to explore doula services more as I thought having a “coach” was exactly what I needed to remove some of my fears about the process of pregnancy and birth. Bri did that for me and my spouse so we could really be present during the birth of our baby as we knew we had a strong advocate and expert in our corner even though we had lots of trust in our medical team, we still needed a guide through the whole process because there is a lot happening!

Consistently, Bri emotionally met us where we were at with our energy level, what concerns/questions we had and what we were needing during birth. She made space for our wishes but if we wanted her opinion/expertise she would give it which I appreciated as I had never given birth before. I had one goal for birth and that was to not be fearful and the prep that Bri offered and delivered during birth knocked that goal out of the water. The knowledge that I had someone for questions, physical and emotional needs too made me feel very confident no matter how our birth progressed. This confidence also helped my spouse feel less pressure about supporting me as he knew he also had support from Bri which only made him a better partner during birth as well.

I cannot recommend having a doula enough. More, I cannot recommend Bri enough and I look back in our birth with such positivity and I do attribute that to her specific coaching.

Bri - from the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU!!!

Bri was both an amazing and necessary addition to our birthing process. Her open and supportive nature truly made my husband and I feel at ease throughout.

I decided to pursue a non-medicated delivery aside from the use of Tylenol. I also had to be induced based on a few factors which included exceeding my due date.

I was in considerable pain during labour and delivery. Bri was such a strong support for both my husband and I. I am typically a fairly private person but during that moment in time, it was the last thing I cared about. I didn't think I would want/need physical support but boy was I wrong. When she saw how much pain I was in she offered her hand and it was exactly what I needed. She was constantly assessing the situation, offering various support such as the TENS machine, combs, her hand and sips of water. She squeezed my hand during contractions and was so versatile in providing whatever support I needed.

I guarantee this will be one of the most vulnerable times in a woman's life. The more support you and your partner have the better. Having her assistance in both preparing for and day of delivery was so pivotal in having the best experience possible.

Bri is top quality. My husband also felt a major sense of relief having her there. Choosing Bri will likely be one of the best decisions you will ever make.

I had a challenging birth that was made much easier with the help of Bri. As a first time mom I felt very lost in the process, and having someone to help definitely added so much value for me and my partner. We felt more prepared for birth, which made it such a wonderful and positive experience. Bri felt like a close friend even when it only a few hour sessions spent together before the birth. She clearly cares so much for the people she works with. She is a supportive, kind, and warm person. I cannot express how amazing it was to spend the end of our pregnancy journey with her. She cheered us on so much along the way. We hope if we ever were to have another baby again, that she would definitely be there as the first choice for our support person.

We are so grateful we had Bri on our birth team for the arrival of our first baby. Her calm energy, attentive nature and ability to get down and dirty when necessary was just what we needed to bring our babe into the world how we envisoned. Bri comes prepared with a tool kit of comfort measures and knoweledge that made our unmedicated home brith not only managable but enjoyable. My husband is especially grateful for Bri as her presence allowed him to take short breaks, come back refreshed with the energy to support me fully. I reccommend Bri to all birthers who are looking for a calm, supportive and intuative doula. I look forward to working with her again for a future birth. Much love for Brianne Crisanti!

Bri was a pleasure to work with throughout my pregnancy and birth. I felt so supported through weekly yoga sessions, help with preparing herbs and tinctures for postpartum, and frequent contact to check-in, vent, and plan for birth.

We had a very quick home birth but she came over as soon as we called her and was able to be present for most of my labour. Bri supported me the entire time with touch, counter pressure, and affirmations. She also made me a delicious snack after I gave birth! I would highly recommend Bri to any birthing person!

I can not say enough amazing things about Bri!! From the moment I met her in a prenatal yoga class I knew I needed her energy at my birth. I couldn’t have got through it without her. She was attentive, calm, and jumped into action before I even knew I needed it. I will never forget what beauty she added to my birth. Thank you Bri!

We are so happy we had Bri on our team for the birth of our son!

Our meetings with Bri prior to the birth helped us to prepared and feel more confident and comfortable leading up to the birth of our son. In the final uncomfortable weeks of pregnancy she supported me in finding different yoga positions that helped me to rest and relax in preparation for our birth day.

On the birth day we were so happy to have Bri by our side. She was everything we needed to support my husband and I through the experience. Bri’s presence helped to create an atmosphere of warmth and calm in an environment that could have been anything but. We could feel that Bri truly care for us.

Bri provided us with valuable evidence based information that supported us in making decisions before, during and after birth. She continued to check up with us after the birth and provided helpful resources I never would have known to look into.

We 100% recommend having Bri on your birth team!

Hiring Bri as our birth doula was the best choice we could have made. Her flexibility, calm and tranquil demeanour, unwavering support and extensive birth knowledge were essential additions to our birth team. Not only was she a critical support for me as the birther, but for my husband as well. We were so impressed with her ability to productively collaborate with all the other health care providers she encountered and she maintained an open-minded and unbiased stance throughout our entire journey. Labour is such an intimate and vulnerable experience and we felt at ease and comforted with Bri’s presence throughout the experience of bringing our daughter into the world.

My husband and I both agree that of everything we invested in leading up to the arrival of our baby, getting a doula was by far the best.

I’m so grateful to have had Bri present at the birth of our son. Her calm, comforting energy and pain management techniques were amazing during my 55 hours of labour. When things got intense or I felt scared, I would look to her and she would keep me focused, helping me push through when I was feeling defeated. Her presence allowed my husband to take some much needed rest, and she also worked very well with our nurse and other hospital staff.

I would highly recommend Bri to anyone who is looking for a doula. Although my labour was long and challenging, it was an extremely positive and memorable experience thanks entirely to Bri.

Brianne assisted in bringing my third child earth side and I am so immensely grateful for her knowledge and support.  Brianne is an incredibly wise and knowledgeable doula who brought calming and comforting presence to my labor and birth. She has wonderful intuition and was able to provide me with comfort and pain relief measures through labor that helped me. Her skill and wisdom is very apparent and she cares deeply for both mamas and babies. She helped with my two older children in moments before and after birth and her gentle calming presence helped as all feel grounded and peaceful as our family grew larger. Brianne is an excellent listener as well and will deeply take to heart your needs and preferences, providing an exceptional level of support.

Bri was incredible. From the very first meeting, to the birth, to postpartum, she blew our expectations out of the water. She is extremely detail-oriented and has a vast knowledge of all things surrounding birth and babies. She made my husband and I feel much more comfortable and confident as first-time parents, not to mention preparing us for what to expect. She also has a warm, calming demeanor that helps to center you and is invaluable during the birthing process. If you end up hiring Bri, you'll be so glad you did. If we have a second, we will definitely enlist her services again. Thanks a million Bri!

I have loved having Brianne work with my family during pregnancy and after as well. She's calm, kind and very easy to feel comfortable with. Her knowledge and expertise are greatly appreciated, as she cares about what you want for your family and how to make it happen. My son had colic and she gave me must needed breaks while holding and caring for him. She is a true gift to all mothers and mommas to be. Highly recommend and forever grateful.

I feel so grateful to have hired Brianne for my second pregnancy/birth. She followed me throughout pregnancy, birth, and for the first month of my daughter's life. She was always available & generous with her time, knowledgeable in all things pre/postnatal and birth. She always fostered a calm and safe space when she worked with me. Her skills are perfectly matched to serving women, their partners, and babies. She really took the time to sit down with me and my husband to create a birth plan as I was determined to have a VBAC. At 37 weeks my goals and aspirations for a VBAC were threatened as my baby decided to flip to a breech position. As a previous emergency csection mom, my OB wanted scheduled a repeat csection. Brianne, who knew how important a VBAC was to me quickly got to work. Brianne took the time to relax my mind, body, and spirit in preparation for motherhood. In the weeks leading up to delivery, she provided me with restorative yoga and prenatal sessions as well has helped me safely preform spinning babies moves to help flip my daughter. A week before my due date, my baby decided to move head down. Brianne’s hard work did not stop there. She continued to kept me calm and focused on my end goal right through to delivery. She was a great support system, advocate and educator. And absolutely wonderful addition to my birthing team.
