I'm so glad you're here. My goal is for each client I work with to feel empowered to make the decisions that are best for their body, their baby, and their future because nobody knows what's best for you except for you. I also know that, sometimes, accessing and trusting your knowing can be tricky. Holistic and nonjudgmental support from a doula can help you tap into that inner knowing, so that you feel calm and confident throughout your birth. I specialize in working with families who live with past or present fertility challenges and/or heightened anxiety. I also situate the work I do in a political context, so if you value modern medicine and medical providers -- but are keenly aware that our medical system was not built by or for you -- I would love to hear from you. We can navigate it together. I am not in network with any insurance plans, but can provide detailed invoices for you to seek reimbursement. I do accept HSAs.

Meredith and Jillian make a great team! My husband and I found our prenatal meetings very helpful and insightful. I’m grateful for their endless communication leading up to birth. I had many false alarms with prodromal labor that made the last few weeks of pregnancy very stressful. They were a source of encouragement, reassurance, and comfort for our family, especially for myself. Forever grateful for their support and making my second birth a memorable and good experience despite being very different from my first birth experience.

Meredith was an absolute ANGEL to have at my birth. Her warm, calming presence was enough to get me through one of the most intense experiences of my life.

My wife and I had the pleasure of working with MSP Doulas for the birth of our daughter and couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Meredith and Jillian are true professionals of their field; helping us navigate through pregnancy to birth and then to postpartum. We felt at ease working with MSP Doulas and would recommend their services to everyone! Special shoutout to Jillian for all of her support during labor and delivery- we’ll always be grateful for her help in our hours of need!

My experience with Jillian was amazing! This was my first baby/birth and she calmed all my fears and listened to all of my worries prior to the big day. She really took the time to learn about what I wanted and how I hoped my birth would go. During labor she provided just what I needed to help me through each contraction and I don’t know how I would’ve done it without her applying that life saving counter pressure. My baby boy and I are so grateful for her and the role she played in our birth story! Everyone needs a doula but we will always recommend Jillian! ??

I had Meredith as my doula and was extremely grateful for her assistance and expertise. I was 43 and had been more career focused in my life when I became pregnant with twins. They were due in Nov. 2020, which was the peak of Covid; all the pregnancy and parenting classes were online only....(I couldn’t even get an ultrasound until the second trimester because doctor’s offices were closed unless it was for Covid or emergencies!)

Meredith and I met on zoom and FaceTime; she sent me articles and questions on google docs regarding birth preferences and expectations....it was really educational for me! Meredith was very organized, excellent in getting back to me, she always answered all of my questions and was fully present and listening to me when we had our meetings.

To be honest, the 39 hours of labor I ended up going through was the most challenging thing I have ever been through, but I got through it with a vaginal birth of both twins, and neither of them needed to stay in the NICU....without Meredith's support, I likely would have panicked. There was a moment where the doctor even said I might need to have a C-section (and he is a doc who prides himself on a high rate of natural births). The C-section team was on standby, but fortunately we didn’t end up needing them. I was able to meet my goal of not having a C-section as long as the babies were fine, and that was largely because I felt emotionally supported and like I would make it through. Meredith was a huge part of that.

It was also really nice because we had a follow up visit after the birth to talk about how everything went. Meredith gave me some extremely helpful advice on pumping (she also has the know-how regarding lactation issues. This was an area I naively knew nothing about, and ended up needing guidance in a few areas...) I would wholeheartedly recommend her to any of my friends who are looking for a doula!

Meredith and Jillian are knowledgeable, compassionate, and client-centered. Their prenatal appointments with us helped us feel prepared, confident, and supported. Our baby was transverse and they gave us spinning baby poses to try and we ended up not having to do a ECV! They were always willing to customize each session to our needs. I had some unexpected challenges with my birth - emergency C section - and they made sure the medical staff explained what was going on and that we knew what our options were. While I was undergoing the C section, something happened with my pain medication and Meredith advocated for me when I couldn't. She also comforted and supported me while my husband was with our baby during the procedure. I don't know what I would have done without her support but the experience surely would have been incredibly traumatizing without her. Afterward, she helped me make sense of my birth experience and supported me in providing feedback to the hospital. I would recommend them to anyone and plan to reach out to them again if I have any more babies. Thank you, Meredith and Jillian! <3

Jillian and Meredith were amazing, and I can't thank them enough. I learned so much in prenatals with Meredith & as a first time mom, I would never have had the water birth I wanted without Jillian's labor support.

I am so grateful for MSP Doulas! Meredith and Jillian were there for me day and night to answer any and all questions I had and gave me extra time/sessions as needed to make me feel comfortable and prepared for birth. They serve multiple clients at once but I wouldn’t have guessed that simply based off of how they made me feel with their time, attention, and care.

I had Meredith for labor and birth and she was absolutely amazing! I was having a difficult time physically and emotionally and she turned what easily could have been a nightmare experience into a beautiful birth story which I will cherish the rest of my life. She made me feel completely taken care of and supported in every way possible.

Meredith and Jillian are two of the most compassionate professionals I have ever had the pleasure to work with, I don’t know how I ever would have made it through the end of my pregnancy and birth without their support! 10/10 recommend!

Jillian was such a blessing to have at my birth, I truly don’t think I could have gone 100% unmedicated if she was not there. She was so helpful before birth with recommendations on spinning babies to get baby in the proper position and very easy going and comfortable to talk to. During labor she had amazing positions, tips and tricks to help me dilate quickly and pressure points she worked on to help with comfort measures. I had an unexpected transfer from a birthing center to a hospital which threw me off mentally and emotionally. Jillian was so supportive during such an emotional time for me. She also took some amazing photos/videos of my birth and helped direct my husband on what to do. I will 100% be having her attend any births I have in the future.

Meredith and Jillian were essential to our pregnancy and birth. I knew I wanted a doula before getting pregnant and to have a team of two amazing women was more than I could ask for. From the moment we met them via zoom - their compassion, wisdom, and realness was undeniable. The ability to reach out to them with questions big and small before and after baby relieved a lot of anxiety because I knew we had loving people on our side who wanted to help. The meetings we had before baby were a great prep and allowed us to continue to figure out what we did and didn’t want as well as what we need to learn more about. Jillian was at my birth and her presence made me have confidence in what I was doing. Not only did she read my cues but she read my husbands and stepped in when and where needed. She was such a gift to the birthing experience and I am forever grateful for her. Her name is in our baby book and she is a part of our birthing narrative for the rest of our lives. MSP doulas for the win. I’ve bragged about them to everyone I know and hope to use them our second time around! Thank you, Meredith and Jillian! Our family loves you both!
