When you’re newly pregnant for the first time it feels like there are about 10,478 decisions to make all at once. Let me say right off the bat, hiring Jennifer as our doula was one of the best decisions we made! From the beginning she made it clear we were going to be made a priority and made us feel like all our concerns were valid and went above and beyond to explain things to us. I did a deep dive into pregnancy/labor/delivery and ultimately switched to a birth center for delivery in my third trimester — Jennifer was present throughout all of my questions and gave me a ton of resources to help me make the best educated decision for myself and my baby. The childbirth class was also incredibly helpful and really taught us what to expect for labor. Fast forward to delivery.. Jennifer was immediately available via phone when my contractions started. Things progressed pretty rapidly and Jennifer came to our home where she helped determine it was time to head to the birth center. In no time at all our baby was here and her presence throughout was so impactful. She was calm, encouraging, and confident! She stayed after for several hours to help with breastfeeding and remain as a support person. My husband and I are so grateful for Jennifer and would 10/10 have her be our doula again for another baby!

Jennifer was the reason I had such a good birth experience. She provided support and knowledge that was invaluable to me and my husband. Having her with us was the absolute best and I can't imagine what it would have been like without her! She went above and beyond for us - checking in with me while it was her anniversary because I was in early labor.  My husband I both agree that she was the best investment we made for the birth of our child. Her prenatal and child care classes were great as well.

We had a wonderful experience with Jennifer! The classes she did with us leading up to the birth of our son were extremely helpeful and informative. I felt confident and prepared going into labor, and my husband felt like he had tools in order to help support me. During labor, Jennifer had a very calming presence. She allowed my husband to act as my primary support person, but she gave us lots of different things to try to help labor progress and to help with pain management. She encouraged me and helped me advocate for the birth experience that I wanted even when things weren't going exactly according to plan. I appreciated her following up with me after the birth to process my experience and to make sure we were all doing okay. Overall, I would highly recommend Jennifer and look forward to hopefully working with her again in the future!

Jennifer is a very professional doula. We booked her for night doula service after our son was born. She always arrived on time. She was very patient to answer all our questions and took very good care of our newborn son in the evenings. She gave me a lot of postpartum recovery advice which was very helpful. I was able to get good night's sleep with her taking care of our baby. Thanks Jennifer for your service!

We had a wonderful experience with Jennifer as our birth and postpartum doula. She went above and beyond to help our family through the natural hospital birth I wanted and supported us postpartum. She took care of me, my new baby, my toddler, and our home as we recovered and adjusted to our new life. She also has a wealthy of knowledge about birth and babies! Her many years of experience just can't be beat. I would HIGHLY recommend her services.

I hired Jennifer as my postpartum doula after I had my second baby, and wish I had hired her with my first! She helped me so much with things around the house (so much laundry!) which gave me more time to rest and cuddle with my baby. She was even knowledgeable about cloth diapers and prepped some that I hadn't gotten around to doing before my daughter arrived. And before I used cloth on my baby, she helped me bathe her when a disposable diaper didn't quite do its job of holding in the contents! Jennifer also helped with my 4 y.o. She played with him and helped make sure he put up his toys when he was done with them. She warmed up my food and made sure I always had water (which I drink a ton of!). She even mopped my bathroom floor because I had dripped breastmilk on it after getting out of the shower. That especially helped me feel better because it's hard to juggle a newborn, a 4 y.o., and taking care of myself let alone mop!

It was also so nice to have another mom there to talk about postpartum and childcare things!

Jennifer really helped me out during a delicate time period, and I am so grateful for her!

Jennifer was a night doula for our family in October 2021. I found her through a mutual acquatance, and I was impressed with her at our first meeting. She is very friendly and personable. She took the time to understand my needs and worked with me to find a schedule that fit my budget, as I had not originally planned to hire a night doula - I didn’t even know they existed! When my husband had to work a night shift for a few weeks, I knew I needed help with our then 4 month old son, and Jennifer was amazing.

Another consideration for us is that as part of the adoption process for our son, before the adoption is finalized, there are so many extra legal requirements for caregivers in the home. It was extra time on her part to comply with all these requirements, which she did right away. She was incredibly proactive about making sure all the paperwork was submitted and filed, even calling the adoption agency to follow up when they were slow to respond. If she had not been so proactive, the paperwork would likely not have been filed by the time I needed help.

She was always early and didn’t rush out when the night was over. She was good with Matteo, she has a calming presence. She helped me with tips for how to help my son sleep longer stretches, for those nights when I didn’t have her over. He was sleeping though the night by the end of her time with us. She even had advice non-sleep baby things that I worried about. I am thankful for her advice and encouragement. Even after she was no longer our doula, she would text to check in and see how I was doing.

I am so thankful for Jennifer and I would highly recommend her to anyone!

I hired Jennifer as a post-partum doula and she started with us upon arrival at home with the baby. During the first week she came during days to walk us through basics of infant care supporting me while I recovered from c-section. Then she worked with us during the nights for about 2 1/2 months. She really helped us with the never ending baby related home tasks, guided us with the  infinite questions we had, took care of the baby and supported me during night feedings by getting the baby ready to eat and then sleep so I only had to get up for 20 min. She gave bottles when I chose not to breastfeed so I could have a larger block of time to sleep. She was extremely professional and wonderful with the baby. Our baby barely cried when she was around, she could anticipate his needs and comforted him effectively. I would hire her again without any hesitation!

Jennifer is just awesome . She is a very kind and humble personality. It was soo easy and comfortable and safe for me to let her take care of my new born twins. She made the process so easy and smooth. I would definitely recommend her. It's was our best decision to hire Jennifer for my new born twin girls . I am so thankful that Jennifer could be with us for more than 6 months . We wish her good luck !

Jennifer truly is as good as it gets. She provided full time care for our infant twins and we couldn't dream of a better nanny. She is everything you'd want her to be - kind, caring, honest, punctual, organized, an excellent communicator, goes above and beyond. She helped with every aspect of our household - laundry, meal prep, cleaning, organizing, you name it. But most important was the exceptional care she provided for our boys. She is patient, kind, cheerful, and taught them so much as they grew. She cared for them with the love of a parent, provided stimulating activities for them, and adapted to their needs (and ours) with ease. She helped us sleep train, develop a schedule, and begin solid foods. She fit seamlessly into our family and is a joy to be around. She supported my journey as a breastfeeding mom and helped me navigate every aspect of being a new parent. She provided unparalleled support for our family. I only wish I had found her sooner and could keep her forever!
