We feel so incredibly grateful to have had Camille as our doula. She brings such a calm, comforting presence and carries a deep well of knowledge & experience.

She helped me through the Aboriginal Doula Grant application, which was successfully approved, and provided respectful and culturally safe care.

During pregnancy, Camille offered thoughtful prenatal education, supportive exercises to prepare for labour and birth, and relaxing prenatal massage. It was so reassuring knowing we could reach out to her at any time with questions, and that she would be there during labour the moment we needed her.

When my prelabour started to feel overwhelming, Camille came right away and stayed with us through two nights and a day and a half for what became a truly magical home birth. 

Once active labour began, her encouragement, reassurance, and hands-on support made a profound difference in helping me cope with the intensity. My contractions were especially intense, likely due to baby’s position, and I truly believe that without Camille there to reassure me that everything was within the range of normal, I might have felt afraid and chosen to go to the hospital. I don’t think I would have had the home birth I dreamed of without her!

After our baby was born, Camille stayed the night and supported us into the next morning. She held our baby so we could rest and helped us with breastfeeding when we woke. As first-time parents, having her there during such a special and vulnerable time meant everything to us.

Camille is truly exceptional in the way she cares for families. We wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a compassionate, skilled, and deeply thoughtful doula to support them on this incredible journey.

Hiring Camille to be a part of our delivery team was one of the best decisions we made and we're so grateful to have had her by our side. Camille provided the role of being like a Mom in the delivery room (without actually being my mom haha) and she was so comforting with her physical touch throughout the whole delivery process. She spent a ton of time getting to know us as a couple and our preferences, and did a great job advocating for our preferences. Her suggestions were so helpful and she really helped me focus and stay in the zone. She was great at assisting my partner in guiding him in how to comfort me, while also comforting him and allowing him to take care of himself while knowing someone was also taking care of me. I would HIGHLY recommend Camille as a doula.

My partner and I feel so fortunate to have had Camille support us as our doula for the birth of our first child. Camille has a calm, reassuring and intuitive presence and is someone we both felt immediately comfortable around. We didn’t end up needing too much help prior to the birth but Camille made things easier for us still by checking in regularly and providing me with relaxing stretch/massage sessions where we got to know each other. She was there for us all through the ups and downs of labour - from the middle of the night drive to the hospital to suggesting positions to help me feel more in control and move things forward since our baby was "sunny-side-up". Postpartum, Camille encouraged me through some breastfeeding and anxiety challenges and provided loving care for our daughter while we caught up on rest. Once we had found our feet, Camille provided us with a beautiful birth story to anchor our memories. We highly recommend Camille!

I feel incredibly fortunate to have had Camille's support and care for the birth of our daughter in March 2024. 

In the weeks before our daughter's arrival, Camille's extensive knowledge of birth and hands-on care helped my partner and I feel comfortable, relaxed, and equipped for the birth experience. 

Knowing we could call and Camille would be there for us was a huge comfort.

Throughout labour and delivery Camille helped me feel safe and present. She knew exactly when to step in to offer encouragement and support and when to give quiet space. She was such an amazing presence in the room. My partner and I felt she has an incredible ability to read how the labour was progressing and what might help keep things moving in the right direction. From the moment labour started to delivery, Camile provided sound insight and guidance when we were looking for it, and also blended in and helped create a calm and comforable environment. She also did a great job of working with our midwife to communicate some of our wants in the delivery room so that my partner and I could remain in the moment. 

In those early weeks at home, Camille's visits and check-ins eased our transition to life with a newborn and post-partum recovery. From breastfeeding support, to being with the baby so we could sleep, to nourshiment (and even checking on our pup!) Camille was so helpful in supporting us through this major change and event in our lives. 

We are so lucky to have Camille by our side in our journey to becoming parents!
