We had the most wonderful experience with Suzzie and cannot recommend her enough! After consulting with several doulas during our search, we felt the most at home with Suzzie and instantly felt relaxed with her calm demeanor and her knowledge of the birth process. I really wanted to have a natural, unmedicated labor and felt very at ease knowing that Suzzie has a ton of experience with them. She took a lot of time and care making sure we understood all of the choices we had in creating our birth plan, and was a total rockstar at our labor and delivery. She created the most calming, zen environment, kept us calm in moments of feeling doubtful and fearful, and was a wonderful presence for us in the room during the birth of our first child. Her packages are extremely generous, and we can't say enough good things about our experience with her!

Suzzie is amazing to work with!
The most memorable moment I have with Suzzie is when I was three hours into pushing and making very little progress, I was convinced that I would not be able to push this kid out and I need a C-section instead. In that moment, Suzzie held on my hand firm and strong, telling me I am strong and can do hard things. With some additional epidural and another hour and half pushing, my beautiful baby came out with his first cry. As a first time mom I had no idea how fragile yet strong one would be during birth and I am so happy that I had Suzzie there holding my hand throughout this journey.
If you want someone by your side, guiding you through this beatiful yet difficult journey, giving you strength and comfort, I would highly recommend you work with Suzzie! I also really appreciate Suzzie's calming energy and warm presence, it took a lot of my anxiety around birth away and helped me build confidence to have a smooth labor experience.

Suzzie is awesome! We highly recommend her to any family looking for a doula. Suzzie came promptly when my water broke. She was with us throughout the delivery process. She helped me with exercises to induce labor and walked with me in the hospital hallway for 30mins. When doctors recommended a C-section, she helped us weigh the pros and cons to make the right decision. Since I had a C-section, Suzzie offered 30 hours of postpartum care which most doulas don't. She was god send for our family. Our care plan fell through 3 months postpartum and Suzzie came to rescue. She took care of our baby like her own. She is kind, patient and caring. She spent time practicing tummy time and other developmental exercises for my baby. When my baby slept, she would do meal prep for us and ensured we had dinner. She not only took care of our family in need, she was also available to answer any questions we had and even helped figure out any issues we were going through. If she didn't know the answer, she would refer us to someone else who did. I can't stop raving about Suzzie. If you are looking for a caring and loving doula, Suzzie is your person!

Suzzie is an amazing birth doula and super professional. I had a scheduled c-section but she still attended my brith process and kept supporting me, which is very important for me and my small family. Also, she provided postpartum service as well and helped us to take care of our baby plus supported my mental health. I would like to strongly recommend Suzzie!

We cannot thank Suzzie enough for her high quality accompany during the whole birthing process!! We kept contact with each other almost the whole day the day before my birth and Suzzie was so prepared and she said "when you are ready for support I've got everything ready to fly out the door". When my contractions got stronger, my husband texted Suzzie at around 3am and Suzzie was at our door in no time - seems that she was waiting alertly the whole night. I felt relieved immediately after she guided me through a few contractions with her professional counter pressure massage and extremely soothing voice. It did help a lot!!

When we hit the hospital one hour later, the midwifery was very much surprised that I was already six cm dilated, considering how relatively relaxed I looked. Then it made me feel that I could go ahead and try birthing without epidural, which I did. During the birth, we pretty much respected and followed my birthing plan and tried various approaches to help accelerate the dilation. Suzzie has a great patience and would always calm me down with pertinent suggestions. After the birth, I had go to the OR to stop some extra hemorrhage and the surgery went for another 3 - 4 hours including the awakening time after a general anesthesia. When I finally woke up, Suzzie was right by my bedside comforting me, again, with her extremely soothing voice. The birthing experience was memorable, unique, and beautiful. We could not make it that way without Suzzie's help! I was really impressed with her persistent power within her slim body. She doesn't look like she ever feels tired; she just keeps driving her energy and pushes herself to whatever is possible to help me. Last but not the least, the pictures she took during the birth are so precious.

Moreover, Suzzie was very sincere and attentive for the prenatal and postpartum visit. I cannot describe how much I love her and enjoyed her accompany in one review.

Never had I even heard of a "doula" until about 6 months ago...so glad I did my research and found this site! Suzzie was an instant match for me! I vetted several people to help me labor and prep, but it was Suzzie was magical and had the voice and soul of an angel. I live in WA , out of state from family so knowing my mom or mother in law could not attend my first baby's birth worried me as I had no idea what I was doing... I knew I needed help! I hired Suzzie because she took her time with me and always cared and listened to what I said! She asked thoughtful questions and offered helpful sugguestions in my pregnancy from proper work outs, labor techniques,  baby rutines post labor and so much more! She was so supportive mentally and physically in labor- I could not have had the amazing loabor experience without her! She was with me when I got to the hospital all the way until the very end at least an hour after baby came! We worked together to keep progressing and it was very smooth! I would recomend her 100%! My husband was there and he also felt the same way!We were both so happy Suzzie knew exactly what to do to help and comfort me and also put my husband at ease. As first time parents this was a no-brainer!

We are so appreciative and thankful for Suzzie! Hiring her as our doula for our pregnancy and birth was the best thing my husband and I could have done to make this season as smooth as possible. Suzzie was incredibly sweet navigating our anxiety and fear we both had at the beginning of our pregnancy. She met us with grace and compassion, and provided us with the knowledge and assurance we needed to prepare well for birth. She was available whenever we had questions, especially in the last couple weeks anticipating our due date. During labor, Suzzie's presence was so calm and reassuring. She stayed with us the entire time we were at the hospital and was a steady rock when parts felt chaotic. When we got home, Suzzie checked in on us and even provided a meal. Suzzie is a natural at teaching, empowering, and caring. We learned so much from her but also gained a friend with her. We would recommend her service to anyone we know!

I cannot say enough amazing things about Suzzie! I highly recommend her to anyone considering hiring a doula! Suzzie supported me during my pregnancy, birth and postpartum recovery. During pregnancy, Suzzie provided me with resources to help me prepare for an unmedicated labor. Suzzie is knowledgeable and confident and with her support I went into labor feeling calm and prepared. Suzzie was immediately available when I went into labor. She weathered a huge snow storm to drive to the hospital and she arrived during early labor to support me. Suzzie was a calm, encouraging and empowering presence throughout my entire labor. Not only is Suzzie emotionally supportive but she is physically supportive. Suzzie is physically strong - she held my hand for hours, provided counter pressure/massage for HOURS and I didn’t notice her stop to take a break! Suzzie led me through guided meditation, positive birth affirmations and provided aromatherapy. When my labor wasn’t progressing as fast as I hoped she knew what to do. She guided me through different positions and used different techniques to help my baby change positions. Suzzie also was assertive advocate for me when nurses suggested interventions that were not aligned with my birth plan. My husband was amazed by Suzzie’s knowledge and expertise as well. He appreciated that she was there to support me when he needed a break ??She also helped guide him through supporting me. We had such a positive birth experience and I accomplished the unmedicated birth I always dreamed of! I could not have done it without Suzzie. I will forever be grateful for the support she provided me and for her helping me welcome my sweet boy into the world! Thank you Suzzie. You’re the best!

WOW! What to say.... I would never have another baby without Suzzie! This was our first baby, and we hired her 3 weeks prior to our delivery date. (Not ideal, I know!) Suzzie jumped right in with both feet trying to make sure that we felt comfortable and secure with what we were about to embark! The main reason why we decided to go with Suzzie after interviewing almost a dozen doulas was that she was very open OUR BIRTHING PLAN *(and or lack thereof) We were undecided between hospital and birthing center, and she was able to offer postives and negatives on both, and allowed us to make our own decision and was 100% with us in whatever path we went went. A lot of other doulas very heavily pushed their agenda on us, even throughout the interview process.

When the day finally came and my water broke..... 7 days later than my "due date" I texted Suzzie at 830am, and she was on call and available immediately! It was a Sunday, and she met us at the hospital hours later after I labored at home for about 12 hours. Our labor went on an additional 26 hours after the initial 12 and Suzzie was there EVERY. STEP. OF. THE. WAY..... from the epidural questions (14 hours into contractions), to the different positions to go through the contractions, to the back rubs, to the calming voice, to the way she "normalized" everything I was going through. She was AMAZING! and like I said in the start of this, I will never have another baby without her.

There are some large doula services out there, but we are SO SO HAPPY and GRATEFUL that we went with Suzzie. You would be lucky to have her by your side during this very important life moment.

If you are considering a doula, without hesitation I highly recommend Suzzie! She is knowledgeable, supportive, kind, and the reassurance I needed during my pregnancy, birth, and postpartum recovery. She helped me during pregnancy in preparing for the birth through providing nutritional advice, exercises to help prepare the body, and educating my husband and I on the stages of birth. During delivery she was a constant support physically and emotionally. She brought oils to the birth, did counter pressure and was a reassuring and encouraging voice.  She was supportive of my decsion to get an epideral and helped me thorughout the process of induction. During our postpartum visit, she supported me with breastfeeding and infant sleep. Following our postpartum visit, she followed up on concerns, questions, and provided additional resources I found helpful in navigating being a new first time parent. She truly cares for her clients and is a support throughout the whole process. I’m beyond grateful to have had her as part of my first child’s birth. The whole process of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum have been a beautiful journey in part to her support.

Suzzie was incredible from the moment we met her to the moment we said our goodbye. She was knowledgeable, supportive, kind, encouraging, helpful and gentle. She gave me nutrition tips during pregnancy and exercises to prepare me for labor. I tore and hemmoraged with my first birth but this time with Suzzie's help I was able to avoid that. I had the unmedicated birth that I so desired and recovery has been so much better this time around. She was with us throughout the whole process and came for a sweet postpartum visit after. She took some pictures throughout the labor and delivery that I will cherish forever and she advocated for us so well. She was such an important and special part of our birth story. We couldn't be more grateful!

Suzzie was our doula for our birth in late Aug 2021. She was excellent. I especially appreciated her very calm presence. She helped me with guided meditation and brought some aromatherapy with her. When it came to delivery, she had great suggestions for different positions I might try while pushing and I was grateful for her experience and guidance. She came to see us a few days after the birth to check on us and give us some more guidance and support for breastfeeding and sleeping - really reassured us in our ability to be new parents. Would highly recommend Suzzie!

My husband and I decided to work with a birth doula as we didn't know what to expect as first time parents, and were a little bit terrified of what the experience would be like.  After a false alarm the evening before, we were unsure whether it was the "real deal" when contractions started up again the next evening.  Suzzie stayed up with us all night texting and offering guidance and support.  When the contractions intensified, Suzzie suggested we call L&D and that she would meet us there.  Our goal was natural labor but the pain was so intense that I wanted an epidural almost immediately upon arrival at the hospital.  I got in the birthing tub as an intermediate step to manage pain which is when Suzzie arrived to save the day.  Suzzie was a calming, kind, and confident presence and did wonders for our nerves/panic, and was a true lifeline through the birthing experience.  We were able to follow her directions for pain management, and her positive affirmations and encouragement carried us through.  She did not leave our sides from the moment she arrived.  Multiple times during active labor I exclaimed (screamed, really) to her that "I couldn't do it" and she was able to recenter, refocus, and calm me down.  I also had her hands (and my husband's) in a death grip the entire time and Suzzie was completely unphased.  The medical team raved about how amazing of a doula Suzzie was and that they had never seen anyone quite like her.  We had such a positive birth experience and the unmedicated labor we wanted, and couldn't have done it without her.  I had postpartum complications, and we were feeling overwhelmed with transitioning to life with a newborn.  Suzzie was truly wonderful in our postpartum visit, finding us local resources, and checking in (just because).  We are so incredibly lucky to have worked with Suzzie, and are thankful for her care, compassion, and competence.
