Kelly was an amazing resource through my pregnancy, birth and postpartum! Throughout my pregnancy she was available any time to answer my questions big and small. I truly felt prepared for an unmedicated birth thanks to her prenatal guidance.

Even though our actual birth story is a complete 180 from what we had envisioned and prepared for, she remained by our side guiding us and helping us understand what each intervention meant and offering comfort and encouragement throughout. I truly have no regrets in the decisions we had to make during my 48 hour labor thanks to Kelly and her expertise.

She was also a huge help during our postpartum appointments. Not only is her expertise as a doula unparalleled, she also is a certified lactation consultant. We were able to address any latch issues right away and correct lip and tongue ties quickly thanks to her examination and recommendation. My breastfeeding journey is a complete success so far thanks to Kelly!

Let me just say, finding a birth doula like Kelly was like discovering a treasure map in a sea of uncertainty during my second pregnancy. After a challenging journey and a previous loss, her kindness and support were like a warm blanket on a cold day. ?? From day one, she was a text away, holding my hand through those moments when my mind just wouldn’t settle.

The home visits were like a crash course in baby land, explained so well, I could have aced a test on it. It was a great experience for my husband too, although I’ll say changing a diaper on a baby doll just isn’t the same as the real deal ?? she also helped us prepare for breastfeeding with helpful guides and tips, and left us a stack of papers with many resources for pregnancy, baby, and postpartum.

When the big day arrived, she was my rock—right there, hands-on, soothing my nerves, turning the anxiety dial down to zero. She coached my husband and mother on how to effectively help me, she lit some candles (well, battery operated but you know ??), and definitely helped make my birth journey a smooth and comfortable experience. I mean, who needs a superhero when you’ve got Kelly, right?

But it didn’t stop there. After my beautiful rainbow baby daughter came into the world, she stuck around like your favorite song on repeat. She helped me unpack my birth story, supporting not just me but my hubby too. Without her, I’m pretty sure I’d still be lost in the baby haze.

And guess what? Months down the line, she’s still checking in! That’s dedication, folks. Seriously, worth every penny, and then some.

I can’t help but feel like she’s more than a birth doula; she’s my birth BFF. In such a rollercoaster period of my life, I look back fondly on our experience and will definitely have her again for my future babies!

I have so many wonderful things to say about my doula Kelly, this could easily be a 5 page essay so I will do my best to keep it short. First of all, Kelly is so connected to the birth community in this city, that she was able to tell me how the hospital I’d be giving birth at operates; so that I could feel confident about where I had chosen to go. She’s also a lactation specialist & I credit her to making my breastfeeding journey easy. As a FTM, I had so many questions, she never once made me feel dumb about what I was asking, instead she was always so loving, caring & educating in all her responses. She made me think about things I wouldn’t have even considered thinking about- which I’m so glad for because my birth/delivery took a totally different turn. I was in labor for about 40 hours before I had to get a C-Section. She was there for me through it ALL- helping me cope with contractions, walking the hospital halls with me, doing different methods that helped me push through the pain. She got not one hour of sleep or rest making sure she was there for me! My mom & husband were present but my mom doesn’t speak English & my husband was so sick he slept through most of it and Kelly was my advocate. When I didn’t think I could, she was my encouragement & made me feel secure about my choices. I would not have made it NEARLY as far without her presence there. You can genuinely see when one loves what they do and loves the community they serve & that’s Kelly. If you’re looking for a doula, look no further and choose her! Im leaving out so many details, because I could go on forever with all the little and big things she did for me. Take it from someone who didn’t think she’d need a doula because my mom and husband were gonna be present. I was wrong! Doulas are SO essential! Not to mention their support & care postpartum! Kelly's incredible! I cant recommend her enough!

My wife and I were so happy with Kelly's work. She was so supportive of our birth plan and preferences, she worked with us every step of the way, and she was an invaluable member of our birth team when our son was born. In the weeks before the birth, we met with Kelly a few times to discuss our plans and options, and she provided some excellent insights about having a hospital birth. In the weeks after the birth, Kelly checked in with us, offered help and support, and gave great advice. We were so fortunate to have Kelly on our side.

The best and most important decision I made in my pregnancy journey was hiring Kelly as our doula. Having been through the experience of working with her, it’s hard to express what a huge role she played in supporting us before, during, and after our daughter was born.

As a first-time mom, I was feeling overwhelmed trying to learn and understand everything. Kelly checked in on me at least once a week during my entire pregnancy, and was always able to sift through resources and provide guidance so I didn’t get lost in internet rabbit holes.

And it’s hard to capture exactly how essential Kelly was to our family during my labor and birth. She not only helped me, but she was able to answer my mom and husband’s questions and guide them in how best to support me in each phase. Her role allowed them to be fully present and provided continued assurance.

There were big moments, like her helping encourage me when I thought I couldn’t push myself any longer and postpartum when I was struggling with breastfeeding, and the smaller ones, like how she decorated our recovery room in fairy lights, took beautiful photos, and gave me honey sticks when I needed energy. Even her general vibe and presence – which is always calm and compassionate and supportive – completely impacted the tone and atmosphere of the room for everyone in the best way.

Kelly was absolutely critical to every aspect of mine and my family’s pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experience – each of us felt completely empowered and supported by her, which allowed us to fully soak in and engage with all of the beautiful and incredible aspects that come along with bringing a baby into the world.
Kelly will be such an important part of our family’s story forever, and we are infinitely grateful to her and her advocacy for birthing people. We can’t recommend her enough.

My husband and I hired Kelly from the start of our pregnancy. As first time parents, we knew we wanted the support from an experienced doula as we navigated pregnancy, labor and delivery, and postpartum. Not only did Kelly give so much of her time for our family, but she went above and beyond with her insights, tips, and advice. We trusted her and felt comfortable sharing any concerns and questions we had.

During our prenatal visits, Kelly asked all the thorough questions we didn’t think of as we were preparing our birth plan. Once labor and delivery came, Kelly stayed as long as we needed. She made sure our birth plan was executed as we wanted, and it couldn’t have gone smoother! As we started the postpartum visits, we were so grateful for her expertise as a lactation specialist specifically. She helped troubleshoot latching problems we were experiencing and checked in on us consistently to make sure all was going well.

We have a happy, healthy, strong baby girl and we have Kelly to thank! We couldn’t have made it through without her. Kelly’s kindness went such a long ways! When we met her on a call for the first time we connected right away and knew it was the perfect fit. If you’re debating whether to hire a doula, just go for it! The more support the better as you navigate life with a newborn.

From the moment we connected with Kelly, her warmth and dedication shone through, putting my mind at ease during this new journey!

Throughout my pregnancy, Kelly displayed an exceptional level of knowledge and expertise. She guided me through the various stages, ensuring I understood the changes happening in my body and providing valuable resources to make informed decisions. Her ability to listen attentively to my concerns and desires helped tailor a birth plan that aligned perfectly with my wishes. Her knowledge of all things lactation and breastfeeding were SO SO helpful

During labor, she used a variety of techniques to alleviate discomfort and help me find positions that eased the process. Her gentle reminders to breathe and stay focused kept me centered amidst the challenges.

What truly set her apart was her unwavering emotional support. She exuded compassion and empathy, serving as a pillar of strength for both me and my partner. She skillfully anticipated our needs and provided invaluable guidance throughout the entire labor and delivery. Her calming presence created a soothing atmosphere, fostering a sense of serenity and empowerment.

Even after the birth, Kelly continued to offer much needed support. She visited us during the postpartum period, offering guidance on breastfeeding, self-care, and adjusting to life with a newborn. Her wisdom and reassurance during those early days were instrumental in helping me navigate the challenges and embrace the joys of motherhood. If we have any more kids, I'm calling her first!

When my partner and I began our journey to have a baby via surrogate, I had no idea what a doula was or why we would need one. But as the journey progressed and the birth was approaching, we met Kelly - and she changed everything for us.

Kelly was our babypedia, our concierge, and our therapist. She took care of everything, she made us feel informed and safe, and she helped us navigate what would otherwise have been a confusing and intimidating process. She liaised with the hospital, got us all into the delivery room together, made sure we always knew where we were going and what to expect - and throughout the process made every day fun and enjoyable.

And after the birth, Kelly was there for us. She helped us with night nursing, taught us the right way to feed and and care for our new baby, and made sure we had all the tips and tools to get us home and off to a perfect start.

So thank you Kelly - we’ll always consider you as not only an amazing professional in your field, but also as a great friend.

Kelly has been such a tremendous blessing to our family. We had our first baby this winter, and from the moment we first met with Kelly, we knew she was the perfect person to go through the journey with. She is patient, kindhearted and VERY knowledgeable. At times I felt like she answered my questions more thoroughly than our nurses and midwives! I was most thankful for the postpartum visits with Kelly as she really understood what I was going through. Thank you Kelly for being such a wonderful person and support to us ??

We hired Kelly as a postpartum doula, and it was amazing. I wish I had her with my first baby! Every night she showed up, a huge wave of relief poured over me. She provided support, encouragement and helpfulness. It was such a treat to get more rest, wake up to a tidy house and know my baby was cared for by someone with such a heart for mothers & newborns. Thank you so much! If we have a third, we’ll be booking again ??

Kelly was my wife’s doula for the birth of our son. My wife was in labor for 26 hours, and when I couldn’t keep my eyes open any longer, Kelly took over so I could rest. We worked as a tag team so my wife was constantly getting support. She recommended different positions for her to labor in, and took pictures when our son was born so we could focus on being in the moment.

My wife and I got little to no sleep in the hospital and we were exhausted when we finally got home. Kelly was able to come and provide overnight support so we could get some sleep. She was a great help to us in the first month of being parents, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a doula.

Wonderful experience with Kelly as both my labor and postpartum doula!

She provided great support during my birth in October 2020 by helping to make sure my wishes were being heard and respected. My birth did not go the way I planned, but Kelly was excellent at helping me make decisions and process changes as they came. She advocated for me every step of the way and always double checked with me that I was comfortable with how things were going. She also helped me physically, mainly by offering counter-pressure and massage to get me through contractions.

Once my partner and I were home with our newborn, Kelly was extremely supportive and made the transition into motherhood much less scary! She provided light house keeping, meal prep, and held the baby while I napped or showered. The best part of her postpartum doula services is her overnight support! For the first few weeks, my baby would NOT sleep anywhere other than someone’s arms, and that led to many sleepless nights. Kelly stayed and held him all night, only waking me when it was time for him to eat. I don’t know how I would’ve gotten through the first month without her. I cannot recommends her services highly enough, and will be requesting her again when I’m ready to have another baby!
