My name is Mariela: and I would just like to tell you a little piece of my experience with the help or assistance of Doula María tirado garcia, throughout my pregnancy process and reception of my baby, I just want to tell you that she is a formidable and most attentive woman, and I hope more women like me are fortunate to be able to count on a person like María, I reiterate I can trust and recommend enormously, thank you María for all your attention and help. Maria was truly heaven-sent. As a brand new mom to my first child, Maria started on the second day I was home from the hospital and she came in and taught me everything I needed to know about caring for a newborn from breastfeeding to bathing to clipping nails. She has such a calming nature to her and both baby and I instantly felt safe and comfortable in her care. Despite the lack of sleep and hormones, I actually looked forward to the nights because Maria would come, make me a cup of tea and we would sit and chat while I breastfed the baby. She would come in and immediately take over, making sure the baby was comfortable, cleaning the kitchen area and doing any dishes and even helping with meal prep. She is by far the best investment I made post-pregnancy and I wish we could have her a permanent part of our household :)

I am so grateful for my postpartum support from Maria. I truly don't know what I would have done without her. She was so good with my baby and toddler. Also went above and beyond keeping my household tidy, laundry, snacks and yummy meals. We were sad to see her go but she even helped us find a lovely nanny. I would highly recommend Maria she is one of a kind. :)

Maria is a natural and amazing with babies! She helped us get through some of the toughest nights and allowed us to rest, which was desperately needed. Maria is patient, knowledgeable (especially in nutrition), caring and so much more. She was always extremely professional and on time. She really got to know our baby and family and was able to take care of everything without us having to worry at all. We are going to miss her dearly(even our family dog Luna).

Hiring Maria means that you can rest assured knowing your baby will be in the best hands!

La preparación al parto con María fue sin duda lo que mi pareja y yo necesitábamos para entender todo lo que ibámos a experimentar. María nos dió formación sobre las fases del parto y sobre nuestros derechos a la hora de establecer un plan de parto con nuestras preferencias y así evitar intervenciones innecesarias que pudieran causar cualquier complicación. Lo más valioso fue el enfoque que María puso en que el padre entendiera bien cuál era su rol y estuviera preparado para acompañarme. También nos preparó con una clase de lactancia. Mi parto se retraso 10 días, y gracias al conocimiento de María y a un masaje en la tripa que estimuló al bebé pude evitar una inducción y que el parto fuera espontáneo. Ella me acompañó desde las primeras contracciones hasta mi salida al hospital, y me ayudó a sentirme mejor física y emocionalmente mientras la intensidad de las contracciones se apoderaba de mi. Salimos a caminar, me puso su maquina TENS, me preparó un baño de agua caliente relajante y mientras estaba sumergida me rociaba con más agua caliente por encima. Además trajo productos energéticos que me dieron el impulso que necesité para salir hacia el hospital. La experiencia fue tan buena que como regalo de mi madre elegí el servicio de post parto con María, en vez de optar por una Oper, cuya aportación es mínima en comparación con la de una Doula. Gracias a María pude navegar las primeras semanas como madre, fueron muy duras y sin ella no hubiera sido capaz de afrontar temas como la lactancia o aprender a calmar al bebe. Además, hacía la compra y menús enfocados a mi recuperación y lactancia por lo que pude enfocarme en mi en y el bebé.

My experience with Maria as a doula was just what I needed. 

We found her last minute (just 1-2 week before my labour started) and since the begining she was very knowledgeable and provided a handful of tips to prepare for birth. 

During labour, she came as soon as my husband called her and helped him getting things ready. I have some blurry memories from my labour (it was July 2021) but I really appreciated having her there, she was calm and trusthworthy. I felt well cared and I believe this helped me focus just on labouring. 

Her postpartum meals are top!! I asked her for the chicken brooth recipe and now it's a must on my fridge.

Maria was a key element of my delivery and postpartum recovery. From the very beginning she brought an amazing energy to our journey. Maria is knowledgeable, kind and patient. During my delivery she stayed calmed and supported me and my husband until the last minute. During my postpartum she exceeded my expectations. Those first days felt like a roller coaster but she was there, always with the right information and the right words, she definitely empowered me and made me feel confident and supported.
I can't recommend her enough!

Mi experiencia con Maria fue increible!!! Fue un gran apoyo Antes del parto y en èl.  Dias Antes del parto me guio sobre repiración, ejercicios del suelo pelvico etc.  Preparacion para el gran dia, el dia que me iniciaron las contracciones me apoyo en casa, con masajes de relajación, y cuido de mi mientras mi esposo trabajaba, Todo el tiempo estuvo muy pendiente por el movil, siempre preguntando como me sentia, y disponible para mi.

Cuando llego el gran Dia, uff el mejor dia de mi vida!! Maria estuvo al lado de la Camilla, a mi lado izquierdo todo el tiempo,dandome voz de aliento y ayudandome a calmar los Dolores, fueron horas, ella a mi lado haciendome masajes, dandome agua, hablandome, sin cansarse!! todo el parto estuvo conmigo! Para mi el mejor apoyo que pude tener.

Muy profesional y con un gran corazón"esa es Maria"  Agradezco a Dios q la colocara en mi Camino??

I had the pleasure to work with Maria in preparation for my first baby and I am really pleased with the experience.

She offered great advice supporting my diet and recommending exercises for an easier and more pleasant delivery. 

Once I had my baby, her amazing support was a life saver as she cooked some amazing recipes. She is a great cook focusing on highly nutritional meals for breastfeeding and more! If you feel like having a unique treat, make sure to try the REAL Spanish tortilla ??!

With her amazing set of skills, I would recommend her to any new and experienced momma to be ??!

Maria ha sido un apoyo imprescindible en mi bonito e intrigante proceso de embarazo y posparto. En esos miles de momentos donde la duda y la incertidumbre te invade, Maria siempre tenía una palabra de amor y de apoyo para mí, que me reconfortaba y ayudaba a conectar con mi poder de mujer.
Me ha ayudado a afrontar cada etapa con sus conocimientos, y siempre me ha dado una información real y actualizada sobre aquello que me preocupaba, apoyándome en cada decisión que he ido tomando.
Sin duda, una de las mejores decisiones ha sido tenerla a mi lado en este mágico proceso que ha vivido mi cuerpo, ya que aunque es lo más maravilloso que he vivido, no deja de ser difícil y duro en algunos momentos, y tener a profesionales y personas tan bellas como Maria ha sido un auténtico acierto y un regalo para mi.

Maria was lifesaver for me when a daycare situation went array and I needed an urgent childcare solution. She willingly agreed to help out for 3 months by doubling her work and warmly welcoming my daughter into her care. I could not have asked for a better outcome to a very stressful situation. Despite having two 2-year-olds in her care, Maria created wonderful days for them, including music classes, parks and play groups. She was always calm, cool and collected even when she had to have been very tired at the end of the day. 

Maria's caring nature and easy-going disposition will be key to her success as a doula. As someone who experienced multiple pregnancy traumas, had anxiety throughout my successful pregnancy, and who worked with a doula, I can unequivocally say that Maria is an excellent choice to provide care to woman during antenatal and postnatal care. She is without a doubt the person I would choose to work with if another pregnancy was in the cards for me.

Maria is so wonderful!

She is calm, compassionate, thoughtful, practiced, knowledgeable, and kind - all very important traits in a doula. I had a very difficult pregnancy and my son was born very early and at very low birth weight. Maria was unfazed! She had taken care of us so competently and kindly ever since.

She is also an excellent cook and baker; and loves preparing nourishing meals for those for whom she cares.

I couldn't recommend Maria more highly! She truly is amazing.

Maria was one of the first person who help me take care of my newborn.  She was really great and had positive and calm energy. It was very reassuring for me to leave her with my newborn. All my family being out of the province, I was very lucky to have found Maria.  I highly recommend her !!
