Bri was a great doula for my family! She met with us a few times prenatally and we came up with a plan. Unfortunately when I went into labor it was the same day as the ice storm and things progressed quicker than expected. She had already set up multiple back up doulas that were closer to the birthing center and that's what ended up happening. Bri communicated with us the whole time even with the back up doula with us. We had multiple postpartum visits where we discussed the delivery and she helped with household tasks. I would definitely recommend Bri as your doula!

I highly recommend Bri as a doula. In our prenatal visits she took time to listen to my past experiences, my wishes for this birth, and answered all my questions plus made helpful suggestions.

She came to the house for prenatal visits (but offers virtual) and when baby was breech she helped me get baby turned with some spinning babies techniques.

For the actual birth she was so helpful in many ways. The first was her calming presence, chatting with her helped me relax and take my mind off of things. It was also so so nice to have her there as a second opinion whenever the nurses suggested things. And last but certainly not least, she gave me the confidence to speak up and advocate for myself when things didn't go the way I wanted. Knowing she'd back me up was the boost I needed.

Bri also made connecting to other support people super easy and fast (such as prenatal massage and lactation support).

We didn't think we needed a doula because we had great midwives and thought we could handle the rest (even though this was our first child). Thankfully, we changed our minds after our birthing class and were referred to Bri!

Bri made us feel so comfortable and confident, from the first meeting to labor/ delivery to our postpartum check-ins. To start, she has great knowledge and experience, and patiently answered our many questions during meetings and anytime through texts. She is also a great coach and consultant, especially for my husband. When I was going through labor at home, it was such a relief to both of us that my husband had Bri on call whenever we needed her advice (and encouragement).

Then, when we were at the Birthing Center, Bri was able to help us navigate decisions with the hospital team. In our case, that included letting us know that we needed to go back home because I wasn’t dilated enough the first time we went in. When we were finally admitted (a day later), Bri was there with snacks, her great energy, and a toolkit of comfort measures.

Without Bri, our birthing experience would have been stressful and scary. Just having an experienced person available to provide support during this unfamiliar process allowed us to not feel overwhelmed; and having Bri be that person made the process joyful on top of that.

We are grateful for Bri and so happy that she was part of welcoming our healthy baby boy into this world.

Bri was absolutely wonderful! She was such a great support during a huge transition in my life and I couldn't have gotten through it without her. She is extremely knowledgeable, relatable, and empathetic. Her kind and flexible demeanor made it so easy for me to open up and be my true authentic self. Having Bri as my post partum doula helped me grow in so many ways! I'm so thankful for Bri!

Bri is an amazing doula. She's very compassionate, responsive and resourceful. Being a first time parent, postpartum can be overwhelming and confusing. Bri was helping me to navigate through a new role being a mom, changes with my body and most importantly be more confident in my new role as a mother. I can't thank her enough for her support.

Bri is AMAZING!!! I was in labor for 72 hours in almost undescrible pain!!! Just when i felt like giving up i hear Bri say "YOU GOT THIS MAMA YOU'RE DOING GREAT" She is empowering, supportive, encouraging and a great advocate. She even followed up postpartum and when im feeling overwhelmed I say to myself "you got this mama you're doing great"! I will definitely use Bri again.

Briana was a life saver! My husband and I reached out to her when I was 32 weeks pregnant. Our situation was very unique due to preeclampsia, but Briana was so comforting and amazing throughout our long hospital stay and postpartum recovery. She was very knowledgeable and helped us understand our options while in the hospital. She helped nourish us by dropping off food and snacks while our son was in the NICU and was always a phone call or text away. She always had encouraging words and was so thoughtful by dropping off goodies to help boost my milk supply, and immune system. I'm so glad I found Briana and had her as a support system. My only regret is that we didn't find Briana sooner. She's beyond amazing!!

Briana provided my partner and I with excellent doula services.  This was my first birthing experience and I am grateful that I selected Briana as my doula.  More than anything, I wanted someone who could help me advocate for myself in the hospital during the delivery.  Briana was a great listener, she had a lot of knowledge that she shared with both of us, and most importantly I felt heard.

We loved having Briana as our birth doula!

While feeling highly capable, my spouse and I decided further support would bolster our strength and abilities through the process. We reached out to Briana due to the variety and breadth of experience. We hired her because of those aspects as well as the fact that she was a great match in character for us and the type of support we wanted: confident, calm, and warm (with a sense of humor!)

My spouse and I don’t ask for a lot of help and are fairly private so we felt a bit hesitant about including someone in our experience but a book pointed out there are already “strangers” such as nurses involved, what is one more person in the room? Thank god for that advice that led us to get more support.

Briana always showed up with a down-to-earth attitude and matched our needs whether that be information, resources, verbal encouragement, physical support, or even space. Not only did she give us an overview of labor, send resources and help us finalize our birth plan, she also handed over a postpartum planning worksheet to make sure we were preparing for that as well.

During labor, she was there to offer wisdom, information, reminders, kindness, and support. She always responded with patience and care until we reached a decision (and as a waffler, I can attest to the wealth of patience that Briana has!!!) She was responsive with care such as a damp cloth, counterpressure, Spinning Babies moves, and sensing when we needed some space. As well as just responding to our needs such as a surprise trip to a hospital in another city!

She even did a postpartum visit as well as checking on us a number of times via text postpartum and was there to send extra resources to our family when I hit a rough patch with some postpartum mood issues.

She shows up, participates, and supports everyone; I highly recommend her services!

Briana is amazing! My original doula fell through at 36 weeks and Briana filled in and gave me and my family the support we needed. She helped me with resources and guidance before and after delivery. And during delivery she was there every step of the way coaching and helping in more ways then I thought possible. I am so glad I had her as a part of my support team and am forever grateful.

First of, Brianna was phenomenal!

We unfortunately didn't get to work with Brianna until very late of my pregnancy but even then, she put out the time to meet with us, go through the process and answered all questions we had.

On the day of delivery...I got admitted to the hospital at midnight. We called Brianna to informed her our whereabouts and our current situation. She said that I would be in labor for awhile but if we want she could come to the hospital to be with us. I told her that I would feel bad if she comes and do nothing but to wait with us, although I would feel safe with her presence.  What she said after I would never forget was, "dont worry about me, dont feel bad for me, if you want me there with you, I will be there." ????

She came to the hospital and helped me go through the labor with ease by doing some exercises on the ball, on the bed... Also she made sure what I wanted for me and my baby was carried out by the doctor and nurses.

Honestly, I think if it wasnt Brianna being there with us, I would be in labor a lot longer, a lot more pain. She was patient, knowledgeable, and super sweet. We would recommend her to anyone and everyone.

I did not know how exhausting it would be to deliver and bring a baby home from the hospital. Very very tiring but all worth it. Bri supported my fourth trimester bringing me meals for the week; breakfast, vitamins, tea, fruit, etc. She also brought me perennial care which really helped my healing process. I’m so grateful for her support—emotionally and physically. As a mother of 2 herself, she is filled with so much knowledge, experience and wisdom. She was always available to me to answer questions and eased concerns and worry that I had during my pregnancy, and transitioning into my new role as a mother. She empowered me and helped me build my confidence surrounding breastfeeding, and building a milk supply for my return back to work. Bri is a well-rounded, full service doula extremely passionate about her work and service to client. I would recommend her to anyone needing that extra support during and after pregnancy.
