Where do I begin...to say Megan was instrumental during my postpartum with my first child is an understatement. She was so helpful in so many ways. We had some new parenting woes with our first child. Our daughter came into this world only wishing she was back in my womb :-) Megan was there to help at every turn. She was infortmative with providing ideas and was extremely supportive with whatever version of soothing, feeding, or nap routine we were trying that day. She never, and I mean never, made us feel which way was the 'right' way. She understands how every baby is different and every family has their preferences. Her goal is to support your needs and, as a new mom, she was a huge support system for me as I navigated this new role. Megan also brought me back to life multiple times with her chicken curry noddle soup and energy bites. This is not an exaggeration. She not only helped with my postpartum but also helped my family transition as I went back to work. The first week back at work went so smoothly because I could relax knowing Megan was there helping us through it. Do not hestitate to reach out to Megan. She is an incredible, trustworthly human being. You would be lucky to have her as your support during those first choatic months of having your newborn home. Thank you for everything Megan!

After having our second child, my husband and I found ourselves overwhelmed, anxious, and unsure how we would make it through the tough newborn months while also caring for our 5 year old. We did our research and found Megan. She was truly a lifesaver. She entered our lives with kindness and zero judgement. She learned about our routines, took on tasks, gave sound advice, and lent an ear when I needed it. Her experience as a Kindergarten teacher really helped with our 5 year old and it was amazing to see their interaction. We were able to reclaim time to ourselves which is invaluable while adjusting to having a newborn. We would recommend Megan to anyone considering a postpartum doula without hesitation. Thank you Megan!

Megan made an unbelievable difference in my postpartum recovery.  My husband and I hired her when we realized we were barely keeping up and really needed support. She talked to me when I needed a listening ear and advice about breastfeeding, rocked my baby to sleep when my arms got tired, supported my husband as he also needed help, took care of bottles, put together our play gym and so much more. I can't imagine those weeks without her. Outside of all the tangible things she did and resources she helped us find, of which there were many, she brought such a loving, calm energy to our home. I will forever be grateful to her and would without hesitation recommend her to any person I know.

When I found-out I was pregnant I read books and took courses to support a healthy, happy, pregnancy and birth. I also hired a wonderful birth doula. While I'm glad I invested in my pregnancy and birth in these ways, and grateful those experiences were mostly positive, I wish I would have focused more on the postpartum time. I guess I thought: "I know how to be tired and push through and care for another person but I've never been pregnant or given birth before and these unknowns feel scary so I need to put my energy there." Once our son came I quickly realized I needed more support, but, now it all felt so vulnerable I was overwhelmed by the idea of finding and bringing a new person into the mix. Then I learned about DoulaMatch.net and started looking through profiles. I was drawn to Megan because of her description as being trauma-informed and despite lacking years of experience as a doula it seemed clear to me she brought life experience, solid training, and a sensibility I value. Once we hired Megan and felt the profound impact her presence and knowledge brought to our family we quickly revised our contract to lengthen her time with us. I am incredibly grateful we were able to have her support for several months. Me, my partner, our dog, and especially our baby all became quiet attached to Megan and the warmth and grounding she brings. She is both highly responsible and professional while also being funny and relatable - she's good at bringing laughter and building trust. The advice my experience compells me to share with expectant parents is hire a postpartum doula. When me and my partner discuss if we want another we often say, "and next time we'll hire Megan from the beginning"!

Megan was super careful and paid attention to details around our newborn. Without her, our lives as parents would be hard. During pandemic, Megan followed all safety and cleanliness protocols which we were very appreciate. She is also very accommodating on the schedule. We highly recommend her so if we can do more hours, we could.

Megan is amazing! I had never hired anyone at home for childcare or postpartum needs so I was very nervous to get a postpartum doula, then now I feel so lucky and blessed to have had Megan. She brings many many years of childcare and family support experience so she was excellent with our older kid and the baby. Not only she is very knowledgable with the newborn care, she also helped us to manage our older kid getting used to having a sibling, which was very helpful. She is very organized and self-driven that we could rely on her for a lot of household management stuff. Megan is just a great person who can be the extra ears and provide emotional support. I am very thankful that she was flexible and accommodating all the specific needs I had. The sanity I had for the 2-month postpartum from having Megan was just priceless. Thank you Megan!

One of the biggest reasons I can remember our newborn phase with our baby girl so fondly is because of Megan! She was the driving force that kept our family sane, happy, and well rested!! Not only was she there for every small/big need for us as parents and for our newborn, she was pivotal in shaping the relationship of our toddler with his new baby sister. Megan is extremely well read and knowledgeable (infact she even created a personalized folder of articles/resources to help us well after the newborn phase), but most of all she is open and flexible to learning and adjusting to diverse needs of the families she cares for. She took to customs and traditions followed in our culture with eagerness and always felt like family instead of a doula. We love you so much, Megan! Any one who receives Megan's care will feel blessed!

Megan was INCREDIBLY helpful during my postpartum period with my second child. She made the transition so much easier and took a lot of stress off of me (Mom). My husband had to travel shortly after the birth and Megan was there to not only ensure that I was well taken care of during my recovery, but also looked after my older child and helped him adjust to having a new sibling as well. Megan was an invaluable resource during such a wonderful and stressful time and don’t know what I would’ve done without her. She’s so kind, caring, and helpful and I HIGHLY recommend her as a doula. She is absolutely wonderful!

Megan Erwin was an invaluable resource during my post-partum journey. The support she provided virtually during the first few months helped me grow my confidence in my new role as a mother. She not only helped me mentally through her virtual check-ins but was always providing resources and knowledge with whatever uncertainties I was struggling with. Every mom deserves to have Megan’s wisdom, kindness and encouragement during this amazing yet difficult transition into motherhood. Our family is forever grateful for the role she played in helping us navigate through the wild ride of becoming parents.
