What a wonderful experience my partner and I had working with Georgina! This was our first pregnancy, birth and assist from a Doula. Georgina was beyond accommodating, knowledgeable and just a pleasure of a person to be around and have as your (plus 2) in the delivery room! Without her guidance our experience wouldnt have been the miracle it was! Thank you staying with us, listening to Aaron practice guitar, and being such great company and assistance! Thank you again Georgina!

Georgina was the perfect support person and doula for my birthing experience! Having previously had a c-section, my main goal was to be a successful VBAC. Though my labor was long due to baby being sunnyside-up, Georgina supported me during those long hours and helped us make choices that were the best for both me and our baby girl. Her massage and pain-reducing techniques were phenomenal and really worked for me. I couldn't believe that she actually helped me fall asleep a few times even when things were getting strong and intense. I'm so glad she was there and was our support and advocate. Thankfully, we did indeed make it to a vaginal delivery and everything went smoothly at delivery. Both me and my husband were glad to have her there!

I feel absolutely blessed to have had Georgina as my doula. I honestly could not have done a natural childbirth without her! She knew just what to do and say while I labored and respectfully guided my husband, too. Her bright presence, dedication and passion to help mothers achieve their birthing goals, and background in physical therapy all make her standout amongst all other doulas. She seriously has a gift for this line of work! Any mama who engages Georgina is a lucky mama indeed!!!

Georgina Taylor was our doula for the birth of my son in June 2019 and was, in my honest opinion, the key to a truly wonderful experience. She meet with my husband and I 4 times for birthing classes beforehand. During these classes, Georgina came to our home and offered us a wealth of education, experience, support and security. Each class was bookended with guided meditation and breathing exercises followed by discussions regarding our feelings, expectations, etc. The classes were themed; education of what my body and baby will do naturally, stages of labor, breastfeeding and post partum care. When the beginning stages of labor began at 10 am the day before I gave birth, I felt calm knowing, thanks to Georgina, what was happening with my body and my baby. At 3 am my surges were regular and I contacted Georgina, she was at our home within the hour guiding me through each surge; her calming demenor offered such peace. As labor continued naturally we headed to the hospital at 8 am. Georgina kept both my husband and I focused on the process every step of the way, offering him wonderful strategies to help support me while keeping us both abreast of the medical process happening. She gave us privacy for quiet moments together and reassurance of the wonderful work I was doing to birth my baby. At 11:13 pm, with Georgina by our side I gave birth to my son. It was truly the hardest work I have every done but with her guidance I was prepared, supported, and able to view the experience for what it truly was, the most amazing occasion of my life. Georgina truly has a gift and a talent that I will forever be grateful for.

Georgina was an essential part of the birth of my second child. Being pregnant in the midst of a global pandemic brought on additional stress and uncertainty that was uncomparable to anything we have experienced. There was still a lot of unknowns around the impacts of COVID on pregnant women and hospitals were starting to limit birthing partners to one person. My husband was no longer able to attend prenatal appointments and women were having to choose between a doula or their partner in the delivery room. We questioned whether it would even be worth having a doula if he/she could not be there for the birth. Boy, am I glad we still moved forward with it! Georgina came as a recommendation from both my midwife and a neighbor who worked with her. After a wonderful hour long phone consult, I knew she was what I needed to navigate the remainder of my pregnancy and feel prepared for birth. We completed three in-home sessions, using the foundations of Hynobirthing, to create a positive, more relaxed and empowered mindset. Georgina has a wealth of knowledge around breathwork, visualizations and meditations that came in handy as I went into labor.A week before I went into labor, my hospital loosened restrictions and a second birthing partner was able to be with laboring moms- yay! After my water broke, Georgina came to our home and helped me through the early stages of labor as she kept me moving, but also relaxed. As I went into active labor at the hospital, her calming presence and voice helped both me and me husband during an extended and exhausting labor period. She kept me positive and motivated, but also informed as different decisions needed to be made. She helped us vocalize what we wanted to the hospital staff. As nurses switched shifts, my midwife popped in and out between clients, Georgina never left my side. I am so grateful to have had her there and attribute being able to have a successful VBAC to her support.

I'm so very fortune to have had Georgina, not once, but TWICE, as my doula for the birth of two of my children. Because of her, I was able to successfully have two VBACs, which was something I was very passionate about accomplishing. I couldn't imagine going through it without her. She is very calm, patient, loving, caring, and mostly encouraging. I've already recommended Georgina to my sister and my friends, and I'm so excited to hear their wonderful stories one day. She really gets to know you and works with you in every way possible to make your pregnancy, labor, and delivery a wonderful experience. So thankful for my birthing experience with Georgina, a true blessing.
