Amity was an absolute joy to work with after our daughter was born!  It was a chaotic time, because she was born early and after she left the NICU it was the busy holiday season.  Amity always had such a calming, positive energy about her that I immediately felt less stressed when she would come over (and not just because I knew with overnight shifts I'd get a very much needed nights rest!)  She handled our daughter perfectly, and was also great with our very energetic older son and our dog.  For that period of time she became family, and I am so grateful for the positivity she brought into our home when we needed it most.  I cannot recommend Amity enough!

Amity was absolutely incredible! She was punctual, kind, caring and overall brought a very calming energy. She helped care for my son from the first week he was born until 2 months. She followed my feeding schedule, assisted with light housekeeping, and anything else I needed. I would recommend her to anyone! Hiring Amity was the best decision we could have ever made for our family.

Amity was incredible to work with! She was so sweet and caring and someone we could trust. We had her come once a week for 2 months to do the night shift, so we could get some sleep. She took such good care of our baby girl who was only 6 weeks old. She was so professional and did everything and more that we asked of her. I highly recommend her as your doula!

Amity was an invaluable part of our birth team! She not only helped me in feeling more calm, confident, and equipped to give birth, she helped enable my husband to feel prepared in supporting me through labor as well.

Even though her support had to be virtual due to hospital policy, she was available for us through all 15 hours of labor, FaceTimed with us, and continually reassured us throughout the birth of our daughter. I had the birth I hoped for and I believe a huge part of that was because of Amity’s encouragement and guidance.

During our prenatal visits, Amity familiarized herself with my goals and desires for my birthing experience and guided me through learning different comfort techniques to use during labor. She also took the time to learn about what helps me personally in times of stress so that she could offer more individualized support. During our postpartum visits, Amity was willing to help with any chores or tasks around the house that would relieve some of the burden from us in those first couple of weeks caring for a newborn and adjusting to life with a baby.

I hope to one day have her there for the birth of our second child - I highly recommend having Amity as your doula!
